The First Legendary Beast Master

Chapter 1867 The Path Of War

While Karl and the others were having dinner with the Yizimon Clan, things were getting exciting in the Tiny World.

Tessaʼs eggs had begun to rock and cracks had appeared on one of them, pulling her and Thor, plus what felt like half the Tiny World, over to the hatchery.

However, the only ones who had been allowed inside were two of the bunnies that were on duty today, the Orphanage Matron, Lotus, and the Black Dragon Avatar, who had simply walked in as if this were his own home.

It wasnʼt like anyone could stop him if he wanted to be there, but the intense expression on his face said that this might be directly related to the reason that he was here, as much as Lotus and Tena were.

With an explosion of eggshell, one of the eggs cracked open, and a small red dragon burst out, nearly rolling out of the nest.

The Avatar caught the wet, scaly creature, who immediately raised her head and breathed fire at him.

{Unhand me foul knave! I will fuck you up!}

The Avatar laughed as he patted the little dragon on the head, and then placed her gently into the nest, where the little one began carefully dousing herself in dragon fire to scorch her scales clean.

”Well, I will give her this, she lives up to the reputation of a Disciple of War,” the Avatar laughed.

”I would apologize and say that she didnʼt mean it, but sheʼs brandishing a bit of eggshell like a sword in your direction,” Tessa agreed.

{Ha, I have reinforcements! Youʼre done for now.}

”Are we sure that sheʼs not a berserker?” Lotus asked curiously as she crept closer to the irate little dragon.

”Sheʼs too young to have awakened a class yet. But she might be a Berserker later.”

The Orphanage Matron laughed as she watched the little oneʼs antics. Baby dragons tended to be the truest to their nature, so their first few minutes would tell you a lot about how they could be expected to behave when under stress or left unsupervised.

Once she was suitably clean, the tiny Disciple of War flapped her wings, then grumbled in annoyance as she failed to fly.

Then, she got a brilliant idea, and used fire magic to create an up draft so she could flap her way over to Tessa.

”Welcome to the outside world, little one.”

{You smell like me. Are you my mother?}

”Indeed I am. These people are all my friends, and the one with green hair is your father. None of them are a threat to you.”

The little dragon looked skeptical.

{Are you sure? Iʼm red, and heʼs quite green.}

Thor chuckled. ”Itʼs a disguise because a Behemoth doesnʼt fit in the room.”

The little dragonʼs eyes flickered with golden fire. {A Behemoth? A huge war machine to lead the armies? We will be unstoppable.}

Tessa laughed. ”Donʼt forget that youʼve got siblings still waiting to hatch. If our guess is right, they should all be Divine Lightning Behemoths.”

She looked at the other four eggs, and then back at Tessa.

{So, I get to train my own army? That is a wonderful hatching gift.}

The Avatar gave Thor a sympathetic look. The brothers were definitely going to struggle with this pampered princess of the dragons, especially if they really were born as Behemoths and not dragons.

The little dragon might view other dragons as equals, but the behemoths were definitely going to be recruited as her underlings.

If they had their fatherʼs laid-back attitude, they wouldnʼt even try to stop her.

”My friend, you are in for a rough time as a father.”

Thor reached down to stroke his daughterʼs head, and chuckled as she bit his finger, failing to do enough damage to actually injure him.

”Yes, I suspect that you are right. This one is particularly spicy.”

The little one bit his finger again, then stared at it for a moment before trying a third time.

”You canʼt bite hard enough to damage my finger. Youʼll have to grow up some before you can go to war with a Behemoth,” Thor joked.

{How does that work? My teeth are sharp.}

”Behemoths are durable. Because we canʼt fly, we became very difficult to injure. So, a young dragon can bite all she wants, and it wonʼt harm an adult behemoth. But if I catch you trying to bite your brothers, I will put you in air jail.”

The dragon didnʼt understand what that meant, but it sounded bad.

”What is your name, new friend?” Lotus asked, now right next to where the dragon was cradled in Tessaʼs arms.

The little dragon roared, much more powerfully than anyone had expected out of the tiny body.

The Avatar nodded, as Tessa smiled at her daughter.

”Itʼs a wonderful name. In the human tongue, you are Seraphina.”

The little dragon wasnʼt sure if that was a good name or not, she didnʼt know much about human language, though she instinctively understood it. It sounded easy to pronounce, and not ugly.

It should do.

The other four eggs began to rock at the same time, and the first one cracked open, revealing a beaked head with a small nasal horn.

Carefully, the behemoth hatchling smashed his way out of the egg by prying sections up with his horn.

To everyone present, it looked like a newly hatched Cerro, but it definitely had an aura of Tribulation Lightning on it, and it was already an Immortal Beast. As far as pure power, it might actually be stronger than the Disciple of War.

But it wasnʼt nearly as aggressive.

Once the behemoth was free of the egg, he began to prance happily around the nest as his sister proudly watched him.

That would be a wonderful Lieutenant for her armies.

He was already as large as she was, and he felt like power. It was a shame that he was a bit silly, but she was sure that she could convince him of the benefits of the path of War.
