I woke up in the morning and immediately remembered that I had to go shopping with them.

I sighed.

Just thinking about it was already mentally exhausting.

Amy could never stick to one decision.

She would change her mind because the color was too dark.

Then too light.

Then it didn’t match.

Then the design wasn’t right.

There were countless excuses.

After taking a quick shower, I put on my clothes and neatly made my bed.

Then I looked around my room and nodded with satisfaction.

Everything was in order.

As soon as I left my room, I saw Luna waiting for me.

”Good morning, Luna.”

She looked at me and nodded.

”Good morning, Gray.”

”Let’s go.”

I nodded, and we walked together toward the dining hall.

It had only been about a week since Luna came here, but she was already completely comfortable around the family.

As we walked, I suddenly asked,

”Hey, you have to help me choose a few clothes.”

”Then I can be free.”

Luna looked at me curiously.

”What do you mean?”

”You have to help everyone else too.”

I grinned.

”That’s why you’re here.”

”You can help them while I’m choosing my clothes.”

”I’m a genius.”

Luna looked at me with amusement.

”Oh, really?”

”Do you really think Sister Amy will let you off that easily?”

I fell into deep thought.

”How about I ask nicely?”

”Surely she’ll agree.”

Luna immediately placed a hand against her forehead.

”You never learn.”

We soon entered the dining hall and saw everyone gathered around the table.

Amy was talking with Grandma.

We greeted everyone before sitting down and beginning breakfast.

Amy asked us about when we had left and what we had been doing.

I simply remained silent.

Luna noticed that and immediately started teasing me about being scared of going shopping.

I ignored her.

That only made her more energetic.

After breakfast, we all got ready to leave.

I brought two gaming consoles with me.

Soon, we headed toward the clothing shop together.

It was the usual shop we visited.

As soon as we entered, we immediately attracted the attention of several people because of our appearance.

The shop owner noticed us and immediately came over to greet us.

But the moment she saw Grandma, her eyes widened and she straightened her posture.

”Madam Elysia.”

”It’s been a while.”

Grandma nodded calmly.

In public, Grandma was completely different from the warm woman I knew.

She was composed and authoritative.

To the outside world, she was practically a demon incarnate—someone who could kill without mercy.

The moment the people in the shop heard her name, they stiffened.

I looked around.

None of them dared to look directly at us.

I couldn’t help feeling a little satisfied.

I like this.

Being respected through fear is better than being treated like some saint.

The shop owner then looked around and noticed the other people with us.

Her eyes stopped on Amy.

”I presume this is for your birthday party.”

”I congratulate you in advance.”

”Happy birthday, Amy.”

Amy nodded with a small smile.

”Thank you.”

The shop owner then looked toward me.

”Hmm.”

”Your brother has become even more handsome.”

”You’d better keep him close.”

”Otherwise, someone might come and steal him.”

She said it teasingly to Amy.

Amy simply shrugged.

”No can do.”

”He already belongs to her.”

”They’re engaged.”

The shop owner’s smile stopped for a moment.

Then it became even wider as she looked toward Luna.

”Hmm...”

”What a beautiful child.”

”What’s her name?”

Amy answered.

”This is my friend’s younger sister, Luna.”

”And this is my friend, Elena, the second princess of the royal family.”

The shop owner’s eyes widened even further.

”Of course.”

”I understand.”

She immediately began bringing out clothes that suited each of us.

She also brought out Amy’s custom-made birthday dress.

There were no unnecessary gems or decorations.

It was simply made from the finest materials available, crafted with extreme care so that not even a single detail was ruined.

The dress was elegant and beautiful.

Amy looked at it and nodded.

She had already placed the order beforehand.

After that, the shop owner brought out numerous outfits for the rest of us.

She didn’t forget to ask about my and Luna’s preferences either.

I simply kept saying,

”Yeah.”

”This is good.”

”That one is fine too.”

Amy’s eye twitched.

”Gray.”

”This won’t do.”

”If you don’t get serious, I have no choice but to stay here until we find a suitable outfit for you.”

My eye twitched.

I immediately stood up and started giving her the feedback she wanted.

She nodded with satisfaction.

”See?”

”That wasn’t very hard.”

Eventually, I chose a suitable outfit.

Amy then chose more than ten additional outfits for me.

After that, I went and sat down.

Luna laughed at me.

I ignored her and took out one of my gaming consoles.

I immediately started playing.

Luna’s eyes widened.

She looked around.

Nobody seemed to notice.

Then she realized what I had done.

The Space Barrier I had created around us completely blocked the sound from the console.

Her eyes narrowed.

She had that look again.

She’s thinking of something.

Then she suddenly stole my gaming console and started playing herself.

Fortunately, I had already expected this from Luna.

I immediately took out my second console.

Luna’s eyes widened.

”You...”

I simply grinned.

Meanwhile, I used my Perception to keep track of Amy and Elena.

Whenever they were about to turn around and look in my direction, I hid the console immediately.

I still gave them my opinions whenever they asked.

But Amy would somehow decide after asking everyone else for their opinions too.

Eventually, she finally settled on everything.

After all that, we left the shop and returned home.

Today had actually been bearable.

All thanks to the gaming session with Luna.

When we arrived home, I noticed many people had already arrived.

Some of them had features similar to the Starlight family.

I presumed they were members of the branch families.

I didn’t bother paying much attention to them and simply headed toward my room.

Luna followed me.

She had also chosen several clothes for herself because Amy refused to let her leave empty-handed.

Unlike me, Luna actually enjoyed the experience.

She talked about the dresses she had chosen and even planned a few customized pieces.

Once we reached my room, I looked at Luna.

”Hey, Luna.”

”Tomorrow is Amy’s birthday.”

”How about we go to her room at midnight and wake her up to wish her a happy birthday?”

She looked at me curiously.

”How are we going to wake her up?”

I grinned.

”How else?”

”We have ice water and a bucket.”

”So, what do you think?”

Luna looked at me as if I had just suggested that we start a war.

”Are you sure?”

”Will you be okay after that?”

I shrugged.

”What’s the worst that could happen?”

”I can just teleport away.”

”So you can deal with her.”

Luna’s eye twitched.

”You dare?”

I immediately raised my hand.

”That’s only if she goes to sleep.”

”If she’s already awake, of course we won’t do that.”

”We’ll just use a flour bag and throw it at her.”

Luna almost stumbled.

”If Amy heard you say that, you’d be finished.”

I shrugged.

”What are you afraid of?”

”This isn’t the first time I’ve done something like this.”

I grinned.

Luna simply sighed.

”Okay, okay.”

”I’m going to put all my clothes away and decide which one is most suitable for tomorrow.”

”I also brought a few outfits specifically for Sister Amy’s birthday.”

I nodded.

”Hmm.”

”Good luck.”

”I’m leaving.”

”If I see another round of clothes being chosen, I’m going to teleport away and come back tomorrow.”

Luna giggled.

”Hmm...”

”That’s interesting.”

”Let’s try it.”

I gave her an annoyed look and waved at her.

”Goodbye.”

”See you at dinner, Luna.”

I turned to leave.

But Luna stopped me.

”Hey, Gray.”

I stopped mid-motion and looked back.

”What is it?”

”What about jewelry?”

”What should I wear?”

”I have a lot of them.”

I scratched my head for a moment.

”If you want my opinion...”

”Wear something simple.”

”You’re already extremely beautiful.”

”So wearing something simple can make your beauty stand out even more.”

Luna stared at me with wide eyes.

She clearly hadn’t expected me to give her serious advice.

Then she smiled and nodded.

”Okay.”

I added,

”And don’t wear something like a tiara.”

”Tomorrow is Amy’s day.”

Luna nodded.

”Okay.”

”Goodbye, Gray.”

I nodded and waved.

Then I returned to my room.

I placed all the outfits away and set aside what I would wear tomorrow.

Tomorrow is an important day for Amy.

I have to make sure everything is perfect for her.

After some time passed, I stepped out for dinner.

Luna soon came out as well.

I looked at her.

”Did you sort everything out?”

She nodded.

”Yes.”

I nodded and headed toward the dining hall with her.

Dinner was normal.

We talked about random things before eventually returning to our rooms.

However, on the way, we caught up with Elena.

She looked at the two of us suspiciously.

”What are you two up to?”

”I can tell from your expressions that you’re planning something.”

Luna and I looked at each other.

Then we looked at Elena.

”Huh?”

”What gave it away?”

Elena simply smiled.

”So?”

”What are you two up to this time?”

We shared our plan with her.

She laughed and nodded.

”Hmm.”

”That’s a good way to wish her a happy birthday.”

”Let’s go.”

I nodded.

We waited until midnight.

Then Elena suddenly asked,

”So, what did you two make for Amy’s birthday?”

”Show me.”

”I’m curious.”

I looked toward Luna.

She nodded.

I took out the wooden ring box.

”This.”

Elena looked at the beautiful box.

She opened it and saw the silver Space Ring inside.

Her eyes immediately lit up.

”Did you two make this?”

We nodded.

”Yes.”

She nodded approvingly.

”Hmm.”

”It’s a good gift.”

Luna suddenly spoke.

”Look inside, Sister.”

Elena tilted her head.

”Look where?”

Luna tilted her head as well.

”It’s not a normal ring.”

”We created a Space Ring.”

”Like Gray’s Space Storage.”

”Time doesn’t flow inside it.”

Elena’s eyes widened.

”Really?”

I nodded.

She put the ring on and opened the Space Storage.

Her expression immediately changed.

”Hey...”

”Now I feel jealous of her gift.”

She looked inside.

”Look at all this food!”

”Are you two preparing to make Amy fat or something?”

We simply grinned.

”Something like that.”

Elena laughed.

”So how did you two get this?”

This time, Luna and I tilted our heads.

”We created it from scratch.”

”That was the experiment we were working on these past few days.”

Elena nodded.

But judging from her expression, she clearly couldn’t imagine creating something like that in such a short amount of time.

Then the time finally arrived.

I looked toward Elena seriously.

”Be prepared.”

”We’re going to war.”

”Don’t underestimate her.”

”She might already be awake and waiting for us.”

Elena looked at my serious expression and laughed.

”Don’t overthink it, Gray.”

I shook my head.

”You don’t understand.”

”I’ve done this multiple times before.”

”She knows I’m coming for her now.”

”So she’ll probably be prepared.”

”Be careful.”

Luna and Elena looked at me with amused smiles.

Then they nodded and followed me.
