The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2649: Final card

”I will kill you all!”

As Nito roared those words, the Eye of Samsara opened even further, exposing nearly a third of the terrifying eye hidden beneath his forehead. Dark-purple plasma surged through the Curse Eater’s body like raging rivers, flooding every fiber of his existence with overwhelming power. His aura exploded upward, rising to a level that shocked everyone on the battlefield.

Even with the immense boost granted by Tyranus Gungnir, Cain was being pushed back.

The double-headed spear, bathed in the powers of Nihility, Entropy, and Quietus, collided repeatedly against the fists of the wielder of the Samsara Eye. Every exchange unleashed devastating shockwaves that spread across the Fallen Empyrean World. Mountains shattered in the distance, oceans trembled, and cracks spread through the fabric of space itself.

Tyranus Gungnir could already be considered a Fourth Realm weapon after being infused with the essence of the End wielded by Cain. Yet despite that terrifying power, Nito’s blows were able to match it and, at times, even overpower the spear’s edge.

However, instead of frustration or despair, excitement burned brighter and brighter in the Scarlet King’s eyes.

The Eye of Samsara allowed Nito to wield a force that belonged to the Fourth Realm, but his body, soul, and Primordial Essence were still fundamentally Third Realm existences. Although the Curse Eater was adapting at a terrifying rate, the process was incomplete. If he suffered a truly devastating injury before that adaptation finished, the backlash would be catastrophic.

He might be crippled for years.

Perhaps even decades.

And that was exactly what Cain needed.

The Unification could not be delayed much longer.

Of course, for any of that to matter, he first had to win this battle.

At the moment, it was clear to everyone watching that he was beginning to lose ground.

Fortunately, Cain still possessed one final card.

It was not something he wanted to use. The strain it would place on his body was so severe that it could easily leave him crippled as well. Yet it was also the only remaining path capable of turning the tide.

Another colossal collision erupted between the two warriors.

The impact detonated like a dying star.

Both figures were blasted away in opposite directions, carving enormous trenches through the sky as they tumbled backward.

Nito regained control of his body almost immediately and rushed forward once more, determined to capitalize on his advantage.

Yet just as he prepared to continue his assault, he froze.

Cain had not moved.

The Scarlet King remained suspended in the air, completely still.

He drew one deep breath after another as his heartbeat accelerated with increasing intensity. Each pulse echoed like the beating of a celestial drum.

A frown appeared on Nito’s face.

Something was wrong.

Something dangerous.

His instincts screamed a warning.

Yet the hesitation lasted only a fraction of a second.

Nito vanished.

The next moment he appeared directly behind Cain, his fist already descending toward the back of the Scarlet King’s head with enough force to obliterate mountains.

Just before the attack could land, Cain spoke.

His voice echoed across the battlefield.

”Fourth Realm Asura Form.”

The instant those words left his mouth, an eruption of power burst from his body.

BOOOOOOM!

The shockwave alone blasted Nito backward.

The Curse Eater’s eyes widened in disbelief as he was hurled through the air.

”Fourth Realm Asura Form?”

Confusion flashed across his face.

He had studied the Scarlet King extensively and knew about the Asura Form. However, the power erupting from Cain now was something entirely different.

This was no ordinary transformation.

This was something beyond anything recorded in the intelligence reports of the Tenth Empyrean World.

Before Nito could fully process what was happening, a terrifying sensation surged through his heart.

Cain had vanished.

The next instant, the Scarlet King appeared directly before him.

The speed was so overwhelming that even Nito’s enhanced perception struggled to follow it.

Tyranus Gungnir descended.

Genuine shock appeared in Nito’s eyes, as he felt in that blow the power to take his life!

Every warrior on the battlefield felt it.

The moment Cain invoked the Fourth Realm Asura Form, the very atmosphere of the Fallen Empyrean World became heavier. The sky seemed to sink lower. The earth trembled beneath an invisible pressure.

Nito’s eyes narrowed as he saw Tyranus Gungnir sweep across the sky.

The spear’s path appeared simple, yet the moment it descended, the heavens themselves seemed to follow its trajectory. Vast currents of universal energy were dragged along the weapon’s edge, transforming every swing into a catastrophe capable of splitting worlds apart.

”BOOOOOOM!”

Nito crossed his arms before his chest.

The impact blasted him backward.

Before he could stabilize himself, a second strike arrived.

Then a third.

Then a fourth.

Cain attacked without pause.

Every step appeared perfectly synchronized with the rhythm of the universe itself, his heart channeling an endless amount of cosmic power through his body, pushing every iota of his existence to the next level.

Each swing of Tyranus Gungnir carried the powers of Entropy, Nihility, and Quietus.

Each swing threatened the very concept of existence.

Nito was unable to counterattack.

For the first time since awakening the Eye of Samsara, he found himself completely on the defensive.

His fists collided against the spear repeatedly.

Every collision generated shockwaves that spread across continents.

Yet despite channeling more and more of the Samsara Eye’s power, he continued losing ground.

The pressure was overwhelming.

The speed was overwhelming.

The force behind each strike was overwhelming.

He was losing!

”BOOOOOOM!”

Another blow landed.

Nito’s body spun through the air before he forcibly halted himself.

Yet before he could launch a counterattack, Cain was already there.

Tyranus Gungnir descended once more.

The spear dragged the sky behind it.

The clouds split apart.

The atmosphere shattered.

The world itself seemed eager to follow the path of destruction carved by the Scarlet King.

Nito roared as he raised both hands.

The Samsara Wheel manifested behind him.

All six realms rotated simultaneously.

”BOOOOOOM!”

The impact shattered the wheel’s projection and sent the Curse Eater crashing through the horizon.

Blood leaked through every orifice in Cain’s face, giving him a truly feral aura as he carried on.

His heartbeat accelerated.

”THUMP!”

The surrounding space cracked.

”THUMP!”

The ocean of energy within the Fallen Empyrean World trembled.

”THUMP!”

Even Tyranus Gungnir began vibrating violently.

A savage grin appeared on Cain’s face.

His eyes burned with excitement and battle intent.

The Fourth Realm Asura Form had already pushed his body beyond its limits.

Yet he was not finished.

Not even close.

He raised Tyranus Gungnir toward the heavens and roared with all his strength.

”Second Gear.”
