The dragon's harem

Chapter 2227: Volar in the Quarter

Beside the bed, Volar sat, and Eris smiled as she pulled her toes out of the maid’s mouth. She had drunk enough divine blood. ”Arad, take care of her.” She turned around, lowered her feet to the ground, and walked beside Volar. ”Follow me.”

Arad looked toward her. ”What about her?” He looked at the maid, who he was still a foot deep into. ”Have your way with her, tear her open. Turn her into a Vampire Lord so I can use her as a mistress or an advisor.”

The maid gasped, ”Wait... now? But... I wanted you to turn me into a Vampire Lord.” As the maid called her, Eris turned toward them with a smile and approached.

”Little Capsella, o’h lovely Capsella.” She cupped her cheek in her hands. ”Arad is stronger than me, far stronger in ways you can’t even fathom or imagine. To be of use to me, the stronger you are, the better.”

”But...” Capsella gasped with a shaking voice, and Eris gently slapped her on the neck. ”I know... I know... But you need to become strong, even stronger than any Vampire Lord that I could ever make. You will walk with me, you will advise me, you will stand and fight with me. I need someone reliable.”

Capsella closed her lips and nodded. ”Fine...”

Hearing that reply, Eris kissed her on the forehead and then shifted her attention to Arad, giving him a long, deep kiss. ”Don’t show her any mercy, suck all of her blood out and fill her with yours. No matter how much she cries and begs, make her as powerful as you can.”

She then turned around, walked toward the door, and tapped Volar on the head with her toes. ”Stand up. I’ll get you integrated into the Quarter.”

Volar kissed Eris’s toes and stood, following her out of the room. When they were closing the door, Volar looked back and saw Arad slowly opening his massive maw, and Capsella was pissing herself as he was about to bite her.

As the door closed, Capsella’s pained and horrified screams boomed from behind it like ten dying ghosts.

”Don’t worry about her. It looks worse than it really is. He’ll drink all of her blood until the last drop, but since he is empowering her, she won’t pass out from the blood loss and will feel the pain of all of her cells dying. But then, he will pump her with his blood, which will start a painful process where her entire body will break apart and get rebuilt stronger.” Eris smiled. ”It is just as painful if I turned her instead of Arad. The catch is that Arad’s process will take a bit longer, as she will turn into an even stronger vampire lord.”

Volar then looked down at herself and Eris. ”We’re gonna stay naked?” Even as an abomination, she had spent a while as a nun of Amaterasu, so this still felt a bit weird.

”Not for long. We’re heading to the bath. But if you want to walk naked in the Private Quarter, you can do that. Only women live here, and all belong to Arad.” She looked back at her with a smile. ”Including you too, I guess this is what you wanted? To serve Arad.”

”I...” Volar mumbled and looked at Eris’s back. ”... wanted to die. If I don’t die inside him, my soul will return to Father Nyar.” Eris suddenly stopped moving and turned toward her, a large grin on her face.

She ran her hand up her stomach, chest, and neck. ”If you want to die, I can murder you inside his stomach. That should help, won’t it?”

Volar twitched and gulped, ”I would... rather have him kill me.”

Eris giggled and extended her nail, piercing Volar’s neck and pulling her jugular vein out without piercing it. ”Listen, lovely abominable nun. Here, we make the rules. You do what I say, do you understand?”

”I... would rather only listen to Arad.” Volar replied, and Eris let go of her jugular vein. ”I’m the nicest among Arad’s wives. Others would make you cry.” Eris then turned and walked forward, prompting Volar to follow her as her tiny wound healed in the blink of an eye.

Soon, they saw a maid wiping dust off the hallway. She turned toward them, saw that they were naked, and bowed. ”Lady Eris, are you going to the bath?”

Eris stopped. ”Yes, I already got my vampire maids to prepare it.” She then looked at Volar behind her. ”This one is a new addition. Isdis didn’t give her a rank yet.”

The maid took a step aside and looked at Volar as if inspecting her from head to toe. She then gently lifted her skirt, as if about to bow. Eris smacked Volar on the back. ”Greet her. Without a rank, she is above you.”

Volar gave the maid a gentle bow as well.

The maid then threw a glance at Eris. ”Lady Eris, did you introduce her to His Majesty?” And Eris smiled. ”Of course, I got him to approve of her. He accepted her, so she is in the clear, for now. She was also recommended by Amaterasu.”

The maid blinked. ”Amaterasu reminded her?” She then gave Volar a long and sharp glare.

”What?” Volar was a bit confused, but Eris just gave her a smile. ”Depends, but Volar is fine for now.” She then started walking. ”We should go now: I’m dying for a new bath.”

As they walked away, the maid looked at them in silence for a while before going back to her work.

Soon, Eris and Volar reached the bath’s door, and the two maids standing there bowed to them. ”Lady Eris and her Guest, the bath is ready.” The maids guided them directly into the shower, as they were already naked, washed them from head to toes, and then took them into the hot bath to soak a bit.

After the bath, the maids got them fresh sets of clothes. Eris had her usual divine attire, and Volar got a black nun’s robe. ”Where are we going now?”

”To the church of stars. A church of Amaterasu that is built here in the Quarter. All of the nuns here worship Amaterasu, but are still servants of Arad.” Eris smiled as they walked into the church, and inside, the found Neptune waiting for them.

As a nun of Amaterasu, Volar immediately recognized Neptune as an angel and that all of the nuns here were ones of Amaterasu’s most faithful. ”You’ll be working here as a nun until Arad takes you into his stomach. Neptune here will be your boss, so obey her.”

Neptune gave Volar a long look, and then smiled. ”Go take a walk around the church and the inner shrike. Get twenty nuns to vouch for you, but every one that vouches for you will get twenty lashes with a whip from me. How you convince them to go through that pain for you is your problem.”

”What?” Volar gasped, and Neptune pointed back with her thumb. ”Hurry, if you can’t get support here, then I won’t need you around. Move it!”

Volar rushed in to start trying to get the nuns to vouch for her, and Neptune remained to speak with Eris. ”So? Tell me what a fucking abomination is doing here. And why does she smell of Amaterasu’s divine magic?”

”That’s a short story. Amaterasu picked her up in the war and then threw her onto us.” Eris then smiled, ”Keep a close eye on her.”
