The dragon's harem

Chapter 1033: Healing Zul I

As Arad landed in Hatiʼs backyard and put everyone on the ground he could see Kali rushing toward him from the house. ”ARAD! Youʼre back!” She jumped and latched to his chest like a little cat.

Arad had seen Kaliʼs true form back in the abyss when he went to Lamyʼs house and fully knew the extent of her power. Seeing her act like this made him quite scared. This pink-haired little girl is a ruthless demon goddess of destruction playing house.

”Iʼm back, where is your father?” He pulled her off and put her down. Only her mother and Kayden can order her around. She is Lunaraʼs goddess and has enough demonic power that Arad isnʼt sure heʼll survive a minute against her even with his current power.

”Dad is out at work! Heʼll be back soon.” Kali looked at him with a smile and then her sparkling eyes shifted back to those who came with him. ”You brought guests? Iʼll have Mother make them something!” She rushed back to the house calling to Lily as loudly as she could.

As Kali rushed back into the house running like an airplane Hati walked out and went past her. ”What an energetic girl.” Hati was sure she had the backyard locked behind an eternal barrier that only allowed herself or people touching Arad to pass. She couldnʼt figure out how Kali got through an eternal barrier.

After just a few seconds Hati could see it, a hole in the shape of Kaliʼs silhouette on her barrier. She had just walked in and causally ripped eternity to pieces, destroying any part of the barrier that came into contact with her. As expected of the goddess of destruction.

Her eyes quickly shifted back to Arad to get her mind out of how much work it would be to fix the barrier. ”So, that black drakaina looks sick, you want to heal her?”

Arad smiled, ”You catch on quick. Did you feel her?” It was clear to Hatiʼs eyes that Zul was nearing her death. Her Fundamentum is a hair strand away from complete failure, if that organ stopped pumping mana into a dragonʼs body theyʼll die. Itʼs like a humanʼs heart failing to beat.

”Of course.” Hati looked at Arad with a smile and waved her fan toward him, ”Iʼve set a barrier around her. Her condition wonʼt get worse but it can be better, an eternity that only exists in one direction but not the other.”

”Thank you! Do you have a quiet place where I can put her down?” Arad looked at Zul and noticed the barrier. It was indeed something far beyond his understanding of barrier magic and must cost a fortune to have cast.

”Go into my training world and Iʼll have a place arranged.” She looked back at him, her eyes stopping at Zul. ”But...I donʼt have any healing magic that can fix that. Do you have a method in mind?” If he doesnʼt have any option she might ask him to wait a few days for her to call Tiamat to help.

Her eyes quickly shifted to the side and saw Sena standing there.

”I do, but itʼll take some preparation first.” He looked back, ”Lala, Sara, Eris, Sena, you four are coming with me.”

”Arad...” Hati pointed at Sena, ”If you canʼt heal Zul. Ask her to help you. She probably can heal her.”

”What? I canʼt!” Sena gasped and Hati turned around, ”If you begged her enough Iʼm sure sheʼll help you.” Hati knew who Sena was and was fully aware of her full power, just like her mother she should be able to help.

”ARAD!” Before they could walk into the gate a voice called and when Arad looked it was Altair, she seemed to have been sent here by Yog just minutes after him. ”Youʼre here?”

”I was sent right after Gamond but I seem to have lagged a bit behind, Gamond is over there with Mira.” She pointed back.

”I know, she followed me when I went to pick up my wife Isdis.” He then turned toward his wives, ”Aella, Merida, talk with her a bit inside while we heal Zul. It shouldnʼt take me too long.”

Sena looked at Altair with a smug smile, ”How interesting, youʼre a void drakaina arenʼt you?” Anything to get herself away from the conversation about her being able to fully heal Zul. Arad doesnʼt know that she is the daughter of Tiamat and the overgod and had trained in life magic under Gracie the mother of all life and death...If she wanted to she could heal Zul in the blink of an eye but that would be interfering too much in Aradʼs growth.

Senaʼs father was quite lax so he wonʼt get mad about her breaking a few things or laws, but her mother was very strict and would whop her ass the moment she knows.

Everyone gasped beside Arad and even Altair looked surprised. ”You can tell? Just who are you?” She was actively hiding her aura so no one shouldʼve been able to notice her. Even Arad mightʼve mistaken her for a human if he didnʼt already know who she was.

”Just call me Sena, weʼll talk after Arad finishes what he came here for.” She looked at him, ”Letʼs go.” This shouldʼve drawn their attention away and made what Hati said seem like a joke. If Arad asked how she knew Altair was a void dragon she could just point to a flow in his own transformation and say she just noticed something similar.

Arad nodded and walked through Hatiʼs gate to her training world. Just when they passed through the gate they found themselves sitting in the middle of a massive open arena surrounded by walls and rooms, this looked more like a garden surrounded by massive dorms. ”This place looks decent enough.” Arad smiled as he felt the density of mana around. Hati mustʼve guessed heʼd need to make some potions first and chose this place.

He jumped to the middle of the arena where he put Zul and returned her to her true size. She was still fast asleep, but that shouldnʼt last for long, if Arad wanted he could wake her up from this hibernation but itʼs better not to.

Arad quickly backed away and waved his hand conjuring a massive barrier around the whole place. From his shadow, over five thousand vampire nuns walked out and lined up under Ziaʼs leadership, kneeling to him.

”Zia, go back to Hati and borrow her biggest pot.” Zia immediately rushed out as fast as she could.

To heal Zulʼs injury Arad had a plan, heʼll first refine a potion to help her endure the operation. She had been sick for centuries and her body didnʼt have enough energy or stamina. A dragonʼs fundamentum is the source of their great magic so itʼs a very robust and difficult organ to heal which would also prove nearly impossible for the girls to heal unless he helps them with a potion.

Potion-making is both complex and simple, the base of all potions is the solvent, magic water which is used to soak and extract magical properties from ingredients.

The magic water added a base value to the potion, an ingredient would add an effect and a catalyst would be a multiplier.

{Notice: Like this: (100 fire)x2.5} The 100 is the base value of the magic water, the fire is what element the ingredients add and the x2.5 multiplier is thanks to the catalyst used for brewing.

Zia carried a massive cauldron the size of a small house with the help of fifty nuns and put it in front of Arad. ”Why do you need this thing?”

”For magic water.” Arad replied with a smile as he shifted to his draconic body and extended his claw over the empty cauldron, ”I canʼt believe Hati actually had such a thing, I was almost joking before.” He had earlier asked Zia to go ask Hati to give him her biggest pot, but she then sent this behemoth of a unit.

”Come out.” He said and Undine flew out of his hand, ”That was painful, do you know? You canʼt fit all of that inside my small body!” She glared at him, ”Shoving all of that inside me! Do you have no shame?”

”Youʼre the one who asked me to do it.” Arad sighed, ”Just pour it inside, Iʼm sure it soaked enough inside you.”

Undine threw her arms forward and a powerful stream of pure divine water splashed out. This was just a small amount of the water Arad collected from the lake that was sealing Vorvadoss. He wanted to use it as the base of magic water but Undine suggested putting the divine water inside her first so she could purify the water and condense it even further for him.

Just as she said, the divine water seemed to have turned as clear as glass. ”You really purified

it.”

”This thing might be divine water but it was still stored in a lake underground, touching stone and dirt.” She flew toward the large cauldron and looked at it, ”Iʼll keep an eye on the water and leave the rest to you.”

Undine flew down just enough for her feet to sink into the water. She then shifted them into the water to link her spirit body with the entire water inside the cauldron. ”Got it.” Arad then looked at the bottom of the cauldron, ”Salamander, your turn.” Salamander flew from his hand and looked at the base of the cloud on, ”I need to heat it up,

right?”

”Slowly, donʼt let it boil. Iʼll just focus on gathering mana to infuse it and create divine magic

water.”

Salamander started heating the divine water by sitting beneath it and letting her fire hair do the job, burning like a candle above her head.

Arad expanded his wings and started using them to focus mana in and charge the water as the

girls and nuns watched.

”Is he using spirit queens like cookware?” Lala looked at Eris with a confused face. ”Donʼt look at me, I never saw them before.”

With his new proficiency with magic and the help of the spirit queens it took Arad less than

five minutes to fully charge the water and create over ten thousand liter{2641 gallons} of

Divine Magic Water.

Just like the elvish base their measurement off their Yggdrasil maiden{Feet being the maidenʼs feet length and such} A gallon is the maximum amount of water a Yggdrasil maiden can drink in one sitting without throwing up.

When Arad finished creating the divine magic water he quickly scooped a full bucket and started mixing it into a healing potion with several common herbs and his blood as a multiplier for the effect. Thanks to the quality of the Divine Magic Water used and Aradʼs potent blood the potion came out to be extremely powerful despite the simple herbs used. ”Iʼm going to start now. Undine, take this divine magic water and split it between Eris, Sara, and Lala. Theyʼll need to use it to recover.” He looked at them, ”I know that healing a dragon is extremely hard and exhausting without you being dragons but I hope you three can keep Zul under a steady stream of healing magic while I cut whatever is inside her.”

”Overworking me to the bone?” Lala looked at him with a smile, ”Iʼll do my best, sweetheart. But I hope you can at least treat me to something nice later.”

”Donʼt worry about me. I am half-dragon as well.” Eris said with a large smile on her face, ”And a demi-goddess over that, I can keep her under healing magic on my own.”

”I just checked...My Lady Asmodeus had linked me directly to Amaterasu. Everything now depends on my stamina alone.” Sara was a cleric of Asmodeus, but since Asmodeus herself is Amaterasuʼs archangel, getting power directly from Amaterasu is possible.

It was just then that Arad noticed, that those three essentially worship the same goddess... ”Say, how powerful is Amaterasu, she seems to have a lot of followers.” ”Her holiness Amaterasu is one of the pillars of the gods, probably second only to the overgod in power,” Sara replied with a confused face, even though she didnʼt understand the full scope of Amaterasuʼs power she was well aware of her class among the divines. ”She is pretty powerful to have a lot of people worshipping her.” Eris looked at Arad, ”But Iʼll one day get as strong as her. I have my own suns after all.” Eris could conjure small purple suns, with enough power, training, and time she might be able to conjure a full sun. ”Youʼre a fool to think that.” Lala looked at Eris and sighed, ”You can spend a million years gathering power and you wonʼt even reach the worth of one of her nails.”

”If I was a mortal, yes, but Iʼm a demi-goddess now, with time Iʼll get to her level. Itʼs not like the portfolio of murder is a small one.” Eris noticed that Lala was serious, she mustʼve known something about Amaterasu that all of them didnʼt.

”What is murder to the literal sun?” She sighed, ”Iʼm a succubus and I worked directly under Gracie, the mother of all life and death, I was in fact born in her kingdom of lust and shadows.” She looked at Arad, ”In my time there I once saw Amaterasu come visit Her

Highness Gracie.”

”And what was she like? How strong?”

”I did ask her holiness, Gracie...and she told me to ask Amaterasu herself so I did just that.”

Amaterasu looked at Arad with a scared face, ”She simply pointed to the sun and asked me to snuff it out.”

She pointed at the sun, ”Arad...thatʼs one sun, there is another one outside, and many others

in different worlds, can you snuff them all at once?”

Arad sighed, ”I understand, her power far outclasses the other gods.” He looked at the cauldron, ”Letʼs focus on healing Zul, Iʼll start immediately.”
