”...When I sent my men to the crash site that night... Nothing except an empty large crater could be found at the site. After lots of investigation none of the natives around knew anything except for the fact that only one man was said to be there when it happened... You,”

”And now you want me to tell you everything that happened. There are two issues with that,” Old Man Shin held his chin with a reminiscent look.

”First, it isnʼt what you think it is...” Old Man Shin paused after speaking.

”What is the second?” Falkorn inquired.

”Iʼll tell you after narrating a little backstory so you can understand,” Old Man Shin said with a smile.

”Six months ago...”

...

”Planet Vespa is in view but with a lot of functions damaged on the ship its going to crash into it...”

Within a massive sphere shaped spacecraft with a large silver ʼXʼ design on it, a man with dirty blonde hair and bushy beards could be spotted.

He stood in the control room with intense eyes while glaring at the yellow and blue colored planet that seemed to be growing closer in view.

(”Finished computing and compressing 99% of your essence into the seed... make sure you plant it the moment you land,”) A feminine voice resounded loudly within the control room.

”You wonʼt be active till I regain my essence and claim the ancient hourglass right?” The dirty blonde haired man with bushy beards question.

(”Yeah, you will also lose majority of your abilities so when you assume a different form, prepare to be stuck with it till you get your essence back,”)

On the outside, the spacecraft had caught on fire since they had just broken through the first layer of the planetʼs atmosphere.

”It doesnʼt seem like I have much of a choice anyway. Iʼll need to take on another identity to remain anonymous since there is no way for me to retrieve the ancient hourglass without planting my essence... unless I destroy the entire planet of course,” The dirty blonde male figure said as they plummeted uncontrollably towards the surface of the planet.

The spacecraft which had caught on fire looked like a descending star as it streaked across the night sky, attracting the attention of the natives living within the settlement.

At this point, the essence which had been compressed into a seed appeared in his grasp. It emitted an unfathomable energy that spread across the entirety of the planet in rapid proportion.

”Make sure it lands in a place that is void of life...”

Bang!

The spacecraft crashed into a an empty area filled with sands, causing a giant wave of wind to push everything around it sideways.

A large crater was formed while the spacecraft remained on fire for a brief period.

Thissshhh~

A figure in tattered looking outfit walked out of it and from the looks of things it happened to be a middle aged man.

This middle aged man tapped on a part of the blazing spacecraft and it vanished in the next instant. The crater was the only visible thing in the vicinity at this moment.

He swifly made his out of the crater with the seed in his hands. Once he got out, he proceeded to draw a circular outlines on the sandy terrain.

After that, he placed the seed onto the middle of the circular outline.

Thiiinngghhhhhh~

It emitted a bright glow and in the next moment, the seed sank into the ground.

”Hey are you okay?”

A loud voice was heard from tens of feet away as figures approached the crash site.

ʼHmm my senses dulled so much that I didnʼt notice their presence till they were close enough?ʼ The middle aged looking man thought as he peered forward.

”I am fine, I just got here to confirm if anyone needed help,” He yelled as they drove closer.

ʼI may have weakened but 1% is plenty... its more than enough to take care of any trouble that may arise during my stay here,ʼ

...

”So you see, what you think youʼre looking for doesnʼt exist. That energy was my essence,” Old Man Shin said as his face displayed a sinister smile that caused everyone in the hall to feel chills.

ʼWho in the hell is this old man?ʼ

”Wait... are you saying youʼre not from Planet Vesper?” Falkornʼs fingers clenched tightly to the arm of the seat as he questioned.

”Shouldnʼt that already be obvious?” Old Man Shin responded with a question.

”But... but... how? It should be impossible for anyone to enter or leave...” Toxer inquired with a look of disbelief.

Old Man Shin only chuckled in response, ”I have gotten what I came for so itʼs time to leave,”

”Why would I let you leave? I can just take you and figure out how to extract that energy from you,” Falkorn placed his hand on the black cloth wrapped around his eyes while speaking.

”Which brings me to the second thing...” Old Man Shin began speaking.

”The reason I followed you lots back here is so I wouldnʼt drag the settlement into this...” Old Man Shin added.

”Into what?” Falkorn asked.

”Into your destruction,” Old Man Shin said while spreading his arms.

”What de...”

Krrryyychhh~ Booom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

While Old Man Shin stood in his position, every single person in black jacket loitering around the place blasted into smithereens.

”Kiaarrrhhhh!”

Loud cries rang out as the premises was soon showered with lots of blood and splattered with internal organs as well as body parts.

”What the...?” Toxer eyes widened and blurred in fear as he leapt backwards.

ʼI fucking knew it, this old man is not to be messed with...ʼ He screamed internally as a few others within the hall blasted to smithereens as well.

”You just... killed them all...” Falkorn couldnʼt believe what he was sensing and at this moment pulled the cloth off his eyes.

His glowing ocean like teal eyes which had a red ʼXʼ in between scanned the entire vicinity as he was overcome with a feeling of danger.

Sersi and Demitris who were beside him had both taken battle stance at this point as their eyes remained glued to the mysterious yet powerful old man before them.

”How did you...?” Falkorn didnʼt get to complete his sentence before Old Man Shin spoke.

”Iʼm sure you control things in this entire city secretly. The leaders are your pawns and your influence most likely extends beyond this...” Old Man Shin began stepping forward slowly.

Step~

”However...”

Step~

With every step he took, the heartbeats of everyone within the hall increased.

”...All of that...”

Step~

Sweats had broken out of their skins and they found themselves unable to move even if they wanted to.

”...Means nothing to me...”

Step~

The moment these words were uttered completely, Old Man Shinʼs body began to undergo a transformation.

”You donʼt seem to realise what is going on here...”

Step~

His old wrinkly skin turned fresh.

”I regained my essence...”

Step~

His white hair rescinded and the black increased in length while changing to a dirty blonde color.

”Which means...”

Step~

His 5ʼ9 figure, increased in length as he reached a height of 6ʼ3.

”I have regained my original strength...”

Step~

His lean figure turned slightly bulky and quite muscular as his entire facial features also underwent a massive transformation.

”And become even more powerful than before...”

What stood before them now was a young man who looked no older than twenty years of age with extremely enchanting facial features, the body of a god and unprecedented energy.

”If one percent was enough to deal with the men you sent after me, then what do you think a hundred percent can achieve?” He asked with a domineering and extremely confident tone.

Their eyes widened in disbelief as they seemed to have recognised who this young man was.

”Is that...?”

”Are you...?”

”Gustav... Crimson?!”

Toxer, Demitris and Sersi voiced simultaneously in fearful tones.

”Looks like my reputation precedes me... but it doesnʼt matter that I revealed myself. You four will be dead soon anyways...” Gustav displayed a nefarious smirk.

”Sersi... Demitris... attack!” Falkorn yelled.

Twwwhiiii~ Twwihhh~

Both figures charged together while channeling their bloodlines.

Gustav stepped forward and slowly pointed his index finger at Demitris obese figure.

”Futile...” He mumbled.

Boom~

Demitris blasted into pieces in the next instant, causing the a shower of blood and grinded body parts to rain from the air.

Sersi eyes widened in fear as she arrived before Gustav with her arm covered in frost as she thrust forward to stab him.

Without making any move, the frost blasted into pieces along with her entire right arm, causing blood to jet out like a fountain.

”Arrrggghhhh!” She screamed in pain as she stared at her side to see her entire arm missing.

”I wonʼt kill you but stay by the side and watch,” Gustav voiced before thwacking her forehead with his index finger.

Bang!

The little tap sent her entire figure flying, causing her to crash into the wall ahead.
