Since it was morning already, they only had one day left to uncover anything that may sabotage their operation.

(”Hmm? Whatʼs that?”) The system called Gustavʼs attention to something.

ʼHuh?ʼ Gustav was baffled as well upon sensing something.

ʼA projection?ʼ He said Internally as he noticed a transparent blueish frame bleeping in and out of existence above the area Gustav had focused his night vision on.

ʼWhatʼs happening... I feel connected to it,ʼ Gustav added.

(”I understand now... itʼs the night projection. I didnʼt think youʼd be able to use this power so soon,”) The system said internally.

ʼNight projection? Elaborate,ʼ Gustav demanded.

(”Using the all seeing vision of the night ability, you can project an astral copy of yourself to any part of the locations the moon glow touches upon... but this is an ability I didnʼt expect youʼd be able to manifest for a long time. Iʼm surprised youʼre partly activating it unconsciously,”) The system explained.

ʼI think it is linked with my desire to infiltrate the underground hideout... Will this be able to help me infiltrate?ʼ Gustav thought as he tried to put two and two together.

(”It certainly is possible... projections are easier to tweak than a real body. Without the use of the technology, those two you and E.E tailed, getting into the hideout is practically impossible because none of you possess any ability that could help you change body frequency and directly transport you into the hideout,”) The system replied.

(”Still, youʼd have to fully create a night projection which... from the looks of things, you havenʼt gotten the hang of yet,”) The system added.

ʼI need to try,ʼ Gustav responded while focusing on the blueish frame bleeping in and out of existence.

ʼLink consciousness...ʼ Gustav said internally as he directed his Cosmic Superior energy towards the area.

Zhiiiinnnnn~

The blueish frame became a bit more visible after this but in a few moments it dimmed and went back to being barely noticeable.

ʼIts difficult...ʼ Gustav had to admit after trying to make it visible a couple more times.

(”Of course... itʼs an ability you shouldnʼt be able to use yet,”) The system reminded.

ʼYeah yeah I heard you the first time... tch,ʼ Gustav wasnʼt willing to give up and kept trying.

This reminded him of when he was learning flesh Warping.

Flesh Warping was from his original bloodline and was super difficult to learn which Gustav attributed to how powerful it was.

This ability was no less powerful. He could sneak into anywhere using this and according to the system when he finally learnt how to use it at its full capacity, he would most likely be able to create so many copies and be in many places at once.

His God Eyes ability was good since he could see actions from very far distance but he was unable to hear them. Using this ability with the night vision, he would also be able to hear everything happening in the surroundings of the projection like he was there.

The best part was, no one would be able to see his Night projection.

Even right now, it could only be seen by himself. Even if he successfully tweaked it to the frequency required for infiltration, unless the enemy had the Night vision ability, they wouldnʼt be able to see the Night projection.

(”Three hours left till daybreak,”) The system informed after noticing Gustav had been on this for a period of time.

ʼDamn it... I canʼt use the night vision during the day time,ʼ Gustav responded internally.

This was the downside to the ability. Despite being powerful, he couldnʼt use it during the daytime.

If Gustav wanted to keep practicing till he managed to make a proper Night projection and tweak itʼs frequency to infiltrate, he would most likely get it in a couple of hours.

The problem was, there was no time for this. What was the point of finally creating the projection properly only for him not to get the opportunity to use it.

He recalled spending several nights learning how to use the Flesh Warping and he could tell this wouldnʼt be any different.

ʼI need to find another way,ʼ Gustav decided to stop trying to create the projection in the meantime.

He focused his senses on the part peering through the unseen underground dimension and took notice of some things.

ʼIt leads all the way back into the upper district in Aribia city. Which means there are probably multiple entry points to this place and not just here alone,ʼ Gustav analysed.

ʼOne of the entry points must be within the upper district for sure... one or two might try to leave or come in. I just need to wait for the opportunity,ʼ Gustav felt this would be a better option with the follow up plan he was hatching in mind.

This guaranteed them a way to infiltrate for sure although it might take time.

E.E who stood right beside Gustavʼs unmoving body was starting to get worried because it had already been an hour since Gustav went into this state.

One of his hand still covered an eye and the other hand was still placed on the ground. A strange energy was still seeping from his figure and a golden glow with a mix of crimson had appeared in the middle of his chest.

E.E knew this wasnʼt there before so it had him wondering what was going on. He had no idea Gustav was trying to create a projection while using his ability as a Parallel Being.

After another thirty minutes, Gustavʼs body suddenly moved. His glowing eyes dimmed and he finally stood to his feet.

”We have to go,” Gustav voiced out.

”Where?” E.E inquired.

”The upper district,”

----

Within a large building two figures suddenly appeared after a flash of blinding light.

”Kazeem has acquired the Elfrit machine. We just need to meet and discuss its retrieval,” One of the figures voiced out as they moved away from the wall they had just appeared from.

”Looks like we have no choice but to go in person,” The other figure responded with a feminine tone.

”Our ride and junior personnels are awaiting us outside the building. Weʼll get there in no time,” The masculine voice stated.

They approached the corridor of this building which led to an elevator.

However before they could reach the elevator mist suddenly began to spread across the corridor.

They had no idea where the mist was originating from but before they knew it, the visibility of the entire corridor had been reduced due to the cold mist.

”Whatʼs going on?” The feminine voice questioned.

However there was no verbal response.

Instead...

Swooosshhh~

An outburst of wind was what the response she received instead.

Before she could understand what was happening, the mist had cleared up and she was now in a different location.

”What? Where... is this?” She questioned with a look of disbelief after finding herself in what looked like a demolished building.

Her breathing turned hurried as she spotted a vortex on the left which mist seemed to be phasing out of.

Her heartbeat rose as she slowly turned around with a frightened look.

”Heʼs bringing your partner,” She stared at the dark skinned man who had just spoken with a look of confusion.

”Who are...” Before she could complete the question, another outburst of wind rang out.

Fwwossshh~

The other man who was heading to the elevator with her earlier, appeared beside her as well with a confused expression.

”Looks like we hit the jackpot,” Both of them heard a voice from the side, causing them to turn.

”Who are you?” They spotted another dark and unfamiliar figure that resembled the one who was already here.

”That doesnʼt matter...” Gustav responded as he moved closer to them.

They were about to say something again when Gustav spoke once more...

”Kneel!”

Both figures suddenly lost control of their body and fell to their knees.

Bam! Bam!

Gustav stopped walking when he arrived in front of them and looked down.

”Now... Iʼll be needing both your memories,”

[Mental Manipulation Bloodline Has Been Activated]

Gustav stretched his hands towards the head of both kneeling figured who found themselves unable to fight against his will.

”Memories Siphoning...” Gustav whispered as his eyes gleamed with a white light.

The moment his palms touched the head of both figures, he began to draw out their memories.

E.E who had closed up the vortex, watched from the sidelines with a look of curiosity on his face.

ʼHe can really siphon memories?ʼ The more E.E found out about the things Gustav could do, the more astonished he became.

ʼThis MF is really a mixedblood arsenal,ʼ E.E whistled lightly.

After a couple of seconds both figures began to bleed from their noses, eyes and ears yet Gustav didnʼt stop.

E.E wanted to alert him but something told him, Gustav must have tried something like this before so he definitely knew what he was doing.
