The Almighty Ring

“Let him have it…” Seven Stars Warrior waved his hand. On the one hand, he wanted to let Little Rain have it. On the other hand, the temptation of the Flying Dragon mount was not enough to distract him from the strongest pet he dreamed of having.

Like Seven Stars Warrior, the other members with a lot of guild contribution points decided to give up the bid. In the end, the Flying Dragon mount ended up in Little Rain’s hands.

“Alright! Let’s move on!” Jiang Fei said as he led the group forward.

After the Light Dragon Lorkaras was eliminated, a crack appeared on one of the stone walls. It was large enough for someone to walk through. Clearly, this was the direction Jiang Fei and the others were meant to go.

After passing through the crack, Jiang Fei and the rest entered a long and narrow pathway. Hazy Memory took the lead with the other Bandits. However, there did not seem to be any traps throughout the path.

After approximately ten minutes, Jiang Fei and the rest successfully exited the pathway and entered a large hall.

Unlike the previous cavern, this was a grand hall covered in crystals and jewels. The Dragon race clearly showed Jiang Fei and the others how wealthy they were.

The hall was filled with small monsters. However, Jiang Fei and the others did not need to kill the small monsters before the boss showed up. In fact, it was in plain sight at the center of the hall.

Light Dragon Leader, Kascajar (Dragon race, Lord)

Level: 85

Health Points: 60,000,000

Attack Power: 11,000

Skills: Luminous Breath, Command Aura, Divine Glimmer, Luminous Trace, Hastened Hatching

Luminous Breath: Deals significant light-based Magic damage toward the enemy in a cone-shaped area.

Command Aura: Increases the Attack Power of Light Dragon’s units in a 100-meter radius by 50%.

Divine Glimmer: Instantly increases the Defense of Kascajar and nearby Light Dragon’s units in a 100-meter radius by 500% for thirty seconds.

Luminous Trace: Kascajar transforms into a Luminous Trace which heals ally units by 100,000 Health Points every second (excluding Kascajar itself).

Hastened Hatching: A baby Light Dragon would instantly hatch around Kascajar for every 10% Health Points it loses.

“Kids! Your breakfast is here!” As soon as Jiang Fei and the others entered the hall, the Light Dragon shouted angrily to initiate the battle.

“Damn! The battle started so quickly!” Jiang Fei was taken by surprise. Clearly, they would not have any time to take a breather. An entire group of small monsters were charging right at them.

“Tankers, get ready! You guys will take care of the small monsters. Leave the Light Dragon to me!” Jiang Fei shouted loudly. Although he had very strong Attack Power, he lacked group skills. Therefore, he could not pull the aggro of close to two hundred monsters on his own.

“It’s finally our turn to work!” Anew Returner laughed. Ever since they started on the dungeon, Anew Returner had been chatting leisurely with a few of the Warriors. As the journey had been very smooth thus far, they had barely touched their weapons.

Charge!

Intimidate!

Lightning Strike!

These were three typical skills which all Warriors used to pull aggro. With these three skills, any monsters that came close enough would be drawn toward the players. Anew Returner and ten other tankers had successfully blocked the small monsters in front of them.

“You, come with me!” Jiang Fei fired a string of arrows at the Light Dragon. As the Light Dragon’s body was huge, Jiang Fei was not too worried about missing his target.

After pulling its aggro, Jiang Fei lured it away from the crowd. After all, the Light Dragon’s Luminous Breath still hurt regular players quite a bit. If it landed a critical hit, it might even instantly kill one of the weaker players.

“Let’s clear the small monsters!” Seven Stars Warrior started organizing the players to kill the surrounding small monsters.

After receiving Seven Stars Warrior’s order, the Magicians and Archers immediately started attacking the small monsters in front of them. Although the small monsters had a lot of Health Points, they gradually started dying from the intense damage from players with ranged attacks.

“Darned insects, do you not know your place?” As one of the small monsters was killed, the Light Dragon was infuriated.

“Creeps! Do you plan on hurting my children? Impossible!” Light Dragon Kascajar roared angrily as it activated its first skill.

Divine Glimmer!

The small monsters around it immediately gained 5x Defense. The Magicians and ranged attackers could no longer pierce through the monsters’ Defense.

“Damn! How are we supposed to fight these things?” Seven Stars Warrior was stunned. As he had Divine Attack, he could still damage the monsters with his attacks. However, he could not possibly kill so many small monsters on his own.

“How else can we fight? Hit them!” Jiang Fei rolled his eyes. The Light Dragon clearly did not want the players to hurt the small monsters. Therefore, all they had to do was continue pulling the aggro. The most important thing was dealing damage to the Light Dragon.

However, when the players continued attacking the monsters, more monsters appeared. In fact, every time they hit these small monsters, the small monsters would use their skills. Not only did the small monsters gain 5x Defense, but they also recovered 100,000 Health Points every second. These small monsters were clearly indestructible.

However, as the Light Dragon Kascajar used all its skills on strengthening the small monsters, its own Attack Power was still weak and even paled in comparison to the Light Dragon Lorkaras. By then, Jiang Fei had already reduced its Health Points by 20%.

As its Health Points decreased, more small monsters appeared. Once the players could no longer ward off the small monsters’ attacks, they would be annihilated. This was what made the dungeon difficult. If players were too slow in clearing the dungeon, the increasing number of monsters would put more pressure on them.

If the main attackers were all forced to fight the small monsters, no one would be able to attack the Light Dragon itself, which would result in a vicious cycle.

However, this was not an issue for Jiang Fei. Even if all the other players were occupied with the small monsters, Jiang Fei was able to single-handedly fight the Light Dragon.

“Continue to pull the small monsters. Just stay alive!” Jiang Fei laughed as he spoke in the group channel. Although this might be a difficult challenge for other groups, it was a piece of cake to Jiang Fei.

As Jiang Fei continued to attack frantically, the Light Dragon’s Health Points were soon reduced to zero.

“Get lost!” As Jiang Fei used his final skill, the Light Dragon fell to the ground.

Without the support of the Light Dragon’s skills, the small monsters’ Attack Power and Defense returned to their normal state. Moreover, without the incredible recovery rate of 100,000 Health Points per second, the small monsters were soon killed by Jiang Fei and the rest.

“Come on! Let’s see what this one dropped! Could it be a Dragon egg?” Seven Stars Warrior wondered excitedly.
