The 99th Divorce

Li Sicheng and Su Qianci sat on the beach, watching the children step on each other’s shadows, chasing each other and laughing. Lively and happy laughter passed to everyone’s ears, making one’s heart peaceful. As the sun set, the white clouds were colored orange-red, strikingly beautiful.

Su Qianci looked up and saw several clouds slowly moving, forming the shape of five persons. Two big and three small, one of which had little braids.

Su Qianci patted the person next to her with some excitement and pointed to the sky. “Look, does that look like us?”

Li Sicheng took her waist and looked at the place she pointed at. His eyes soft, he chuckled, “Yes, even God has created a family portrait for us.”

“Yeah, family portrait. Let’s take a picture of it. Where’s your phone!” Su Qianci did not carry a bag and reached out to touch the pocket of Li Sicheng.

Li Sicheng’s throat was tight. She did not notice his strangeness, but picked up his phone and took a picture of the red clouds. Li Sicheng’s mobile phone was just bought yesterday. It was the latest model and had a great camera. The flaming little clouds looked particularly beautiful in the photo.

Su Qianci looked at it and smiled warmly. “Look, is it pretty?”

“Yes.” Li Sicheng smiled and looked down at her, without even looking at the cell phone.

Su Qianci set the photo as the desktop, looked up and was sucked into his eyes as deep as a pond. Looking at Li Sicheng’s gaze, Su Qianci blushed, and then slightly shrank back. He stopped her and held her head, kissing her fresh and red lips deeply.

Li Sicheng’s kiss was very light, very soft. There was no lust and was just full of love. After the kiss, he said with his mellow voice, “Let’s go home. It’s getting late.”

Su Qianci looked at the time, and it was already past six o’clock in the evening, way past the dinner time of the old house. Getting up with a blush, Su Qianci gathered the children from the beach, cleaned up their feet, help them put on their shoes, and then the family of five went to have dinner.

After eating and returning to the old house, the couple helped to bathe the children. Then Su Qianci carried one, and Li Sicheng carried two to their beds. Having played hard for an entire day, the children immediately fell asleep. When Su Qianci and Li Sicheng returned to their bedroom, it was past eight o’clock in the evening.

When Li Sicheng was taking a shower in the bathroom, Su Qianci received a call. It was from Luo Zhan.

“Hey Qianci, did you go to the beach today?”

Su Qianci felt a little surprised, asking, “How do you know?”

“Not just me, the whole Weibo knows, and now a lot of netizens are attacking you. You can check it out online. It is even one of the hot topics.”

“Attacking me?” Su Qianci felt weird. “Are you sure that is the right word? What have I done?”

Luo Zhan sighed. “You will know when you see it. I have to look for someone, but don’t make a statement right away. I will see how I can solve it. I have more experience with Internet than you. Don’t act impulsively!”
