Chapter 668: Chapter 668: The Fire and the Flow

The thick, heavy steam inside the examination chamber had completely settled by the time the fallen sword master’s eyelids violently fluttered open.

Heidy’s mind was a chaotic, fragmented void. For several terrifying seconds, she had absolutely no cognitive understanding of where she was, what year it was, or what had just transpired within her flesh. Her brain throbbed with a rhythmic, agonizing pulse that felt as if her entire skull was on the absolute verge of detonating from an internal overload of sensory data.

Then, like a crashing tidal wave, the horrific psychological nightmare and the monstrous, bone-melting torment of the restructuring came roaring back into her consciousness.

Instinct took over. Her athletic body moved with a sudden, desperate speed, her bare legs swinging off the edge of the obsidian table as her right hand instantly flew toward her left hip, her fingers curling to grasp the familiar hilt of her silver longsword.

There was absolutely nothing there.

Her vision was heavily blurred, swimming with dark spots and fractured light, but through the haze, she could clearly discern the massive, unshakeable silhouette of the man she violently wanted to slaughter.

”You... you absolute, monstrous bastard...!” Heidy rasped, her voice completely raw, cracking with an unadulterated, lethal fury as she forced her trembling legs to stand. ”How dare you... how dare you violate me?!”

Every single millimeter of her physical frame was screaming in agony. The mystical alchemical reconstruction of her internal architecture had fundamentally encompassed her lower pelvis and her vagina. In the unique primordial biology of female cultivators, the core Yin essence was generated deep within the womb, possessing a direct, energetic connection straight to the primary Dantian—perfectly mirroring how a male cultivator’s Yang essence was anchored to his testicles. Because her intimate lower pathways were currently burning with an intense, radiating heat from the golden needle fusion, her traumatized mind was thoroughly convinced that Ethan’s demonic threats had been a literal, physical execution. She truly believed she had been brutally defiled while trapped in her paralysis.

Ethan casually turned around from his workstation, his hands smoothly wiping a trace of spiritual condensation from a crystal vial as he looked at her with an absolute, infuriating normalcy.

”Good morning, Elder,” said Ethan, his deep baritone carrying a calm, perfectly professional clarity. ”You took a considerable amount of operational time to finally regain your consciousness. How exactly do you feel?”

Heidy’s jaw violently tightened, her bloodshot eyes staring at his calm countenance with a pure, murderous insanity.

”How... how exactly do I feel?!” Heidy screamed, her breaths coming in ragged, hysterical gasps as she clutched her bare chest. ”You dare to stand there and speak to me with such casual naturalness after forcefully violating my body?! I am going to personally rip your filthy tongue out of your throat, gouge your eyes from your skull, sever your wretched cock from your groin, and force you to swallow every single bite of it! You are a dead man, you hear me?! A dead man!”

”What remarkably unrefined language for such a magnificent, high-tier lady,” said Ethan, a low, thoroughly amused chuckle escaping his chest as he took two slow, predatory strides forward. ”However, before you make any further structural threats, you should highly consider the mechanical weight of your words.”

Before she could even attempt to swing her bare fists at his face, Ethan smoothly reached down, picking up the heavy crimson silk robe he had carefully used to cover her bare, sweating form after she had passed out from the agony. With a fluid, surprisingly gentle motion, he draped the luxurious fabric back over her broad, athletic shoulders, tying the front sash to shield her nudity from the humid air.

”Before you commit yourself to murdering me, Elder, you should take a single, disciplined moment to thoroughly inspect the interior of your own house,” Ethan added smoothly, his amethyst eyes flashing with a mocking glint.

Heidy’s chest heaved, her mind thoroughly confused by his complete lack of fear. Her defensive walls remained tightly raised, but her internal awareness instinctively turned inward, sweeping across her primary energetic pathways.

The moment her divine sense touched her interior, she completely froze, her wide eyes stretching to their absolute limits.

The terrifying, stagnant sludge that had choked her cultivation for twenty long years was entirely gone. Her spiritual energy was no longer acting like a toxic, stagnant swamp of mud that refused to shift without inflicting a ripping, jagged agony through her entire thoracic cavity. Instead, the dense, pure qi inside her Dantian was flowing with an absolute, breathtaking freedom across her entire skeletal framework. It was smooth, it was pristine, and it was racing through wider, newly forged conduits with a familiar, roaring power she hadn’t experienced since the glorious days of her youth. Her broken sword hadn’t just been patched; her entire lineage had been completely reborn.

”You... what exactly have you done to me?” Heidy whispered.

But unlike her previous, bloodthirsty screams of rage, her voice had completely dropped into a breathless register of pure incredulity. The raw panic, the defensive hostility, and the deep-seated terror that had consumed her mind just moments ago completely vanished from her eyes, melting away into an overwhelming wave of profound yearning and blossoming hope.

She stood frozen, her fingers trembling against the soft crimson silk of the robe he had wrapped around her. Her internal pathways were singing with a vibrant, unhindered power she thought she had lost to the grave. The phantom burning in her lower core was no longer a marker of violation, but the intense, restorative warmth of a completely reborn energetic wellspring.

As she looked up into Ethan’s massive frame and his calm, unyielding amethyst eyes, the terrifying silhouette of the demonic pervert she wanted to slaughter entirely dissolved. In his place stood the only man in the entire cultivation world who had possessed the divine, brutal capability to reach into the absolute deepest pits of her personal hell, shatter her unbreakable chains, and drag her back to the summit of the heavens. He was no longer a monster to be feared. He was her absolute master, her savior.
