Chapter 136: Chapter 136: The Cost of the Miracle

”This cannot end like this!” Ethan roared, his voice laced with the cold fury he hadn’t felt since he killed Jason. ”I regret not being here to help you.” He stared intensely at Lilly. ”Why didn’t you tell me? We’ve been talking these past few days.”

Lilly apologized, shame and fear mixing on her face. ”I didn’t want to involve you in the pizzeria’s problems, Ethan. Dad told me not to say anything to you, that he would solve it.”

Ethan’s frustration over their predicament and their lack of trust exploded. He stopped hugging her and stepped back, his body rigid. ”If you don’t see me as a member of your family, then there’s no need for me to be here.”

His mind was absolute chaos. The day had been a whirlwind: the revelation of his perversion, the vengeful fury, the brutal sex, the anguish over his sister. Now, the people he genuinely cared for were hurt, and he felt shut out. His mental state was an explosive blend of emotions about to rupture.

Seeing his reaction, Martha and Lilly rushed toward him, hugging him and pleading. ”Forgive us, Ethan! We didn’t mean to exclude you; we just didn’t want to worry you,” Martha implored.

Ethan felt Martha’s enormous, soft breasts pressing against and brushing his arm over and over. On the other side, Lilly’s modest, firm chest. Behind him, Alfred sputtered.

”It was all my fault... I was the stubborn one. I couldn’t allow my young—”

Alfred cut off abruptly. His body collapsed, convulsing violently, and blood mixed with foam began to issue from his mouth. His eyes were completely dilated.

Ethan went into utter panic. ”System! Hey! Do you have anything to cure people? I urgently need anything to heal old Alfred!”

The System immediately projected a vibrant red glass bottle into his vision, displaying the price: 100 Lux Points.

Ethan clenched his teeth. It was a monstrous sum, considering a simple pistol only cost 25 points. ”Why is that bottle so expensive?”

[Because it can cure anything, Champion. Are you a doctor? If you tell me what he has, I’ll give you something specific and cheaper. Or take him to the doctor—maybe he’ll die on the way, and you’ll save 100 points.]

Ethan, resigned, knew the System wasn’t lying: he had no idea what was happening to Alfred. Without hesitation, he pressed ’buy,’ and a glass bottle materialized instantly in his hand.

He immediately uncorked it, placing it against Alfred’s mouth and forcing the liquid down completely.

As soon as Alfred swallowed it, the convulsions ceased. The open wounds on his forehead closed and vanished, leaving behind only healthy skin. Ethan, Lilly, and Martha were all stunned by the liquid’s effectiveness. Seeing the empty bottle in Ethan’s hand, they felt it must have been an invaluable item Ethan had used to save Alfred’s life.

Ethan lifted Alfred. Although Alfred was a heavy, large man, Ethan’s newly reinforced body handled the weight easily. He walked toward the house behind the pizzeria. Martha desperately cleared the way.

With every step Martha took, her buttocks bounced as if they were large, delicious, sweet flans.

[You are such a hypocrite, Champion!] the System mocked. [You say you don’t want to screw Martha for your friend’s sake, but you haven’t taken your eyes off her ass for a single moment... Hypocrite!]

Ethan blushed and shook his head, wanting to deny it, but as they reached the stairs, Ethan couldn’t stop looking at the bouncing buttocks and the tight elastic of her panties moving with her beautiful curves. He climbed the stairs and laid the unconscious Alfred on a bed. Martha and Lilly sighed, slightly relieved, profusely thanking Ethan for saving their father from such a dangerous situation.

Lilly embraced him tightly again, thanking him profusely for saving her father. Martha did not interrupt but thanked him too.

”Ethan, what was that red bottle? For how miraculous it was, it must be incredibly expensive.”

Lilly looked him directly in the eyes, waiting for an answer. Ethan coughed, putting on a professional facade.

”Well, it’s a special medicine we are working on. It might go on sale sometime in the future, but it’s still a prototype. I hesitated to give it to him because I don’t know if it could have any side effects. So far, the tests haven’t shown anything, but one can never be careful enough with Uncle Alfred’s health.”

Lilly burst into fresh tears of relief. Martha couldn’t help herself and embraced him as well, burying his face in her generous bosom.

Ethan breathed deeply, inhaling her delicious lavender scent. Ever since the System had revealed his true self, he couldn’t help but feel that something within him had been irrevocably freed. His steel restrictions were no longer so firm. He couldn’t help but desire Martha, despite the deeply complicated situation.

He repeated to himself over and over that it was wrong, but he couldn’t get her soft, full body out of his mind. His pants were completely taut—his dragon ready to roar at the heavens.

Just as he was about to lose control and reach out to touch Martha, she released him with a big smile, tears still glistening in her eyes.

”I’ll go get you something to drink, Ethan. You must have made a huge effort carrying Dad up here.”

Ethan smiled and thanked Lilly while Martha said she would check Alfred’s vitals.

Martha, without any trace of modesty, bent over Alfred, deliberately showing Ethan her entire gigantic, heart-shaped buttocks. Ethan couldn’t help but inwardly drool, the urge to touch her almost unbearable.

[WARNING, CHAMPION! The old man is only pretending to be unconscious! He is clearly going to spring up and stop you. I am sensing intense arousal in the room, but the trap is obvious. Proceed with caution... or don’t. I don’t care, hehe.] the System joked.

Martha checked Alfred’s pulse and breath, but a dangerous smile played on her face as she bit her lip, her internal thoughts echoing through the tense silence. Don’t hesitate, attack me, my boy.
