Supreme Vision Master

Chapter 576: Chapter 576: The Siege of the Imperial City! (Part 8)

Tianyu Empire, Imperial City.

At this moment, this most flourishing and thriving city of the Tianyu Empire had entered a state of first-level alert.

Emperor Tianyu stood atop the wall of the Imperial Palace, glaring angrily at the army besieging the Imperial City below.

”Ling Feng! Has Duke Ling Mansion gone mad? How dare you mobilize private forces and besiege the Imperial City! Are you trying to rebel?!”

Emperor Tianyu was still dreaming about controlling Luo Qingtong, when he suddenly heard that people from Duke Ling Mansion had assembled an army and had surrounded the Imperial City!

He thought it was false, but upon checking, it turned out to be true!

The audacity of Duke Ling Mansion’s people!

How dare they make a move against the Imperial Family at this time!

Did they premeditate this?

A wave of fury surged in Emperor Tianyu’s heart.

Tens of thousands of elite Hu Mang Guards had been dispatched by him to deal with the Luo Family!

By now, they should have controlled Old Master Luo!

If not, how could Duke Ling Mansion possibly seize the chance to take advantage?

”Ling Feng! I advise you not to make a grave mistake!” Emperor Tianyu said coldly, looking at the people of Duke Ling Mansion, ”Although the tens of thousands of elite Hu Mang Guards have been drawn away, the three armies defending the Imperial City remain loyal to the Imperial Family!”

”You mobilize the Ling Family Army and the central force to besiege the Imperial City—are you really thinking the three armies will let you do as you please?”

”Your Majesty is indeed correct.”

Upon horseback, Old Duke Ling, already in his sixties, laughed heartily.

He had just received the news that Evil Doctor Ghost Eyes was on his way here.

With that one’s capabilities, along with the aid of the Yanyue Family, the Tianyu Royal Family in the Imperial City is already isolated and helpless!

Even if those tens of thousands of elite Hu Mang Guards were not withdrawn, in front of Evil Doctor Ghost Eyes and the Yanyue Family, they would be utterly inadequate!

He looked at Emperor Tianyu with pity and said, ”Your Majesty, there’s no need to wait. The three armies of the Imperial City Guards are currently blocked outside the city by the Yanyue Family. You should know the caliber of that aristocratic family!”

”They are an existence that rivals the great forces of the Holy Dynasty! If not for Elder Yanyue wishing to settle in the Tianyu Imperial City, they would never appear within our Empire!”

”With them here, Your Majesty, you need not think about reinforcements! In this Imperial City, apart from us, no other army would come in!”

Old Duke Ling’s words immediately made Emperor Tianyu’s face turn ashen.

Yanyue Family!

It was the Yanyue Family!

This aristocratic family has made a move!

”How is this possible?!” He cried out in disbelief, ”The Yanyue Family has a special status, they would never interfere in Empire affairs, much less help you, Duke Ling Mansion, in plotting a coup and dealing with our Tianyu Royal Family! There must be some misunderstanding here!”

”Haha!” Old Duke Ling laughed heartily.

”Your Majesty, don’t you know? It was Evil Doctor Ghost Eyes who asked the Yanyue Family to intervene, cutting off all escape routes for your Royal Family!”

”I am also curious, what exactly did you do, to make that person from the Black Domain and across the entire Zhenyan Continent seek to exterminate your Royal Family relentlessly?”

Evil Doctor Ghost Eyes?!

Upon hearing these four words, Emperor Tianyu’s mind buzzed.

Is it her?!

Luo Qingtong!

It’s actually her!

Did she become aware of what they did to the Luo Family, and hence she came for revenge?!

While Emperor Tianyu was momentarily stunned, buzz...

Sounds of buzzing filled the sky.

A massive and luxurious spiritual ship suddenly approached from outside the Tianyu Imperial City!
