Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 1247: Chapter 1024: Invitation (2)

Su Yuan had no objections to this.

After the battle at Heavenly Palace, the intelligence on the top fighting forces in the Sky Patrol Department has become quite clear to the northern countries like Qiguang. Announcing the outcome of this battle by Great Flame can still boost domestic confidence and morale.

And if an announcement is to be made, it inevitably involves him.

Although he couldn’t keep a low profile, Su Yuan didn’t mind much.

Ashley said, ”Boss, besides these things, someone visited a few days ago, someone from Demon Capital Academy, named He Yanan.”

”Teacher Xiao He, came in person?” Su Yuan was quite surprised.

Ashley continued, ”She said if you have time, Dean Cai wants to invite you to Demon Capital Academy on September 8th.”

”September 8th, is it the opening ceremony?”

Su Yuan glanced at the time; it was just the beginning of September.

”If I remember correctly, September 1st to 7th is the freshman orientation period...”

Su Yuan recalled that a dozen years ago at this time, he met the directionally challenged Luo Bingtong on the road, and later they fought several times in the Practical Combat Hall. Eventually, he defeated Xiang Dingqian, cutting off the other’s ear to avenge the ambush during special recruitment...

”So young and full of spirit...”

Thinking about the past, Su Yuan couldn’t help but shake his head and smile.

The past is like smoke, truly makes one feel nostalgic...

Ashley said, ”I told her you’re in seclusion, and you might not be able to go.”

”Alright.” Su Yuan nodded and, after a brief thought, took out his phone and sent a message to Dean Cai, ”Since I have some free time, let’s make a trip.”

...

September 8th, Demon Capital Academy.

The freshmen have completed a seven-day orientation, have been assigned mentors, and have become familiar with Demon Capital Academy.

Whether new students or old, many were crisscrossing the academy.

And at 2 PM, it’s the annual opening ceremony.

”In recent years, it seems like there’s more and more people at the opening ceremony...” A third-year student, who returned before the start of school, sighed on the academy road.

The boy accompanying him said, ”Old Xu, you don’t know this, it’s not just seems; there really are more people.”

”Oh? Old Yang, your uncle works in the Education Bureau of Demon Capital, do you have any news?”

Old Yang crossed his arms and smiled, ”As far as I know, this is related to Senior Su Yuan!

Since Senior Su entered the Burning Sun List, the resources allocated to Demon Capital Academy by the Education Bureau have significantly increased!

A few years back, we only enrolled about two thousand students a year, one reason being limited attraction, another being that the Education Bureau only had resources sufficient to nurture two thousand students well.

But two years ago, during our enrollment, freshmen were already more than three thousand, and this year...”

”This year, with Senior Su at the top of the Burning Sun List, it’s unimaginable!” Old Xu chimed in.

Old Yang said, ”That’s right, but that’s just one aspect! My uncle revealed that because Senior Su made great contributions in the Heavenly Palace Secret Realm, the Education Bureau also greatly benefited.

Whether it’s cultivation resources or some privileges for recruiting special students, they’re all prioritizing Demon Capital Academy.

Fame, resources, and with added policies...

I suspect that this year, the number of new students at our Demon Capital Academy might even surpass Capitol Capital College, breaking the four thousand mark!”

Old Xu clicked his tongue, ”That’s incredible, we’ll find out how much later... But speaking of which, Senior Su Yuan is truly too amazing. Over thirty years old, top of the Burning Sun List, and wiped out so many Truth Knights!”

Old Yang said, ”Absolutely! Because of Senior Su, now when we go out from Demon Capital Academy, who doesn’t give us a second look? Even Capitol City students have to step aside, which was unimaginable a few years ago!”

The two of them spoke excitedly, faces full of admiration.

But indeed, at this time, Su Yuan’s reputation was indeed quite loud.

It’s not just Demon Capital Academy, it’d be fair to say he’s a national idol!

”Hey... Old Xu, look over there!” Old Yang suddenly lit up as he saw a man and a woman walking ahead.

Old Yang looked up, ”Hmm, what’s up?”

”Look at that girl... Such presence! Do we have such a beautiful girl in our academy? She even looks a bit like a northerner... Could she be a freshman this year?”

Old Xu looked up; even from the side view, that girl was indeed very beautiful.

”Looks around our age... She doesn’t seem like a freshman, might be a guest invited by the academy to watch the ceremony.”

The opening ceremony sometimes invites notable figures to watch, most are local to Demon Capital.

And there have been more invited guests from other places in recent years.

”A guest so young...” Old Yang was saying, but the girl already walked past, turned around, and smiled.

Old Yang’s heart skipped a beat...

Thumping heart!

”Old Xu, did she smile at me?” Old Yang swallowed, ”No way, I have to go and get her contact...”

Old Xu pulled him back, ”Didn’t you see there’s another guy beside her?”

”Hmm...” Old Yang pursed his lips, then his gaze shifted from the girl to the guy walking ahead in sunglasses, after a glance, his expression froze, ”Old Xu, this back view... looks a bit like Senior Su!”

”Hahaha, you must be obsessed!” Old Xu patted him, ”The back view is a bit like, but Senior Su has silver hair.”

Old Yang stared at the black-haired back ahead and sighed, ”If the academy could invite Senior Su back, that would be great.”

Old Xu said, ”For characters like Senior Su, they’re very busy; haven’t heard of him coming back over the years.”

”True... I’d love to see the real person; I’d sacrifice ten years of my roommate’s life for it.”

”Damn, isn’t that me? You’re so mean...”

...

”Boss, they’re all talking about you...” Ashley turned back and smiled.

Su Yuan shook his head, ”That’s why we must disguise a bit.”

The man and woman were indeed Su Yuan and Ashley, who came from Capitol City.

Only Su Yuan had changed his hair color and wore sunglasses.

And Ashley also covered her striking white hair, temporarily turning it black. However, the mysterious aura of her Power of Destiny, along with her beautiful figure and face, still attracted a lot of students’ attention on the way.

Ashley looked around, ”Demon Capital Academy, is this where Boss studied before...?”

”Yes.” Su Yuan nodded slightly, ”Though ranked in the top three, it’s also one of the top institutions in Great Flame.”

”To nurture someone like Boss, it must be a top institution,” Ashley agreed profoundly.

But Su Yuan secretly shook his head; only he knew that achieving his current success, while the platform provided by the academy was important, it was more important—the system...
