Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 963: Chapter 758: The Situation

Now that Su Yuan has been promoted to an Alchemy Grandmaster, he is already capable of refining the Sun Spirit Pill on his own, though there is a failure rate, it is not that urgently needed.

And under Su Yuan’s command, perhaps only Mo Fei really needs the Sun Spirit Pill.

Antonios and Ashley have just broken through, their foundations are unstable, and their accumulation is insufficient, so they need time to settle. Getting the Sun Spirit Pill now would not allow them to break through.

As for Su Yuan himself... a single Sun Spirit Pill wouldn’t have a transformative effect.

Su Yuan said, ”Take it back, Branch Leader Jing and the other branch leaders, they all deserve this elixir.”

”This... very well.” Xu Hengjiang nodded, then asked, ”Then is there anything else that Master Su needs? Do not hesitate to ask, as our Storm Alliance will oblige!”

Su Yuan pondered for a moment and said, ”There is indeed something needed. Our Qingming is new here, and we still require a foothold in the coastal area of the Western Desert...”

Upon hearing this, Xu Hengjiang paused in thought and then directly took out a map and made a mark on it.

”This is our Storm Alliance’s territory, the south is yours, Master Su, what do you think?”

Looking at the map almost divided in half, Su Yuan couldn’t help but be impressed. Xu Hengjiang was truly someone who repaid kindness, directly giving half of the territory.

And, it was the relatively safe south.

Xu Hengjiang deliberated, ”You also don’t need to worry about manpower, I will leave half of the personnel from these branch offices for you to maintain the basic operations of these areas.”

”I do need both land and people, but not that much.” Su Yuan smiled and marked the map, ”Just this coastal city will do.”

Xu Hengjiang looked at the map: ”Zhao Yue City?”

”That’s correct.”

Qingming wasn’t intending to become part of the Sea Gang... The true foothold Su Yuan already had in mind was on the large Poison Island from before.

As for Zhao Yue City, it would just serve as a gateway.

Xu Hengjiang increasingly found himself unable to fathom Su Yuan’s intentions, but given it was just a city, he agreed to give it.

”No problem, in terms of personnel, all members of the Zhao Yue City branch will stay, and additionally, I’ll allocate you another branch, how does that sound?”

The Zhao Yue City branch had the Full Moon level master Qiu Fengyin, another Waning Moon level master, over ten Shining Star level individuals, and several Lower Three Levels.

Su Yuan shook his head and smiled, ”Just one branch will suffice, however, I don’t need the original personnel from Zhao Yue City. I would like Branch Leader Teng Jinghua from your alliance, is that possible?”

Firstly, Su Yuan did think highly of Teng Jinghua.

Secondly, Teng Jinghua held enough weight to serve as a bridge between Qingming and the Storm Alliance.

Thirdly, it’s always polite to accept something in return for helping, to prevent others from thinking of oneself as a pushover.

Sure enough, upon hearing this, a pained expression appeared on Xu Hengjiang’s face.

With Yuan Shan gone, Teng Jinghua was already in the top three seats of the Storm Alliance, even with strength second only to Xu Hengjiang!

Compared to a Sun Spirit Pill, Xu Hengjiang would even be willing to give up the Sun Spirit Pill...

After all, without Su Yuan, the Storm Alliance would have already fallen, so asking for one person wasn’t excessive.

Moreover, Xu Hengjiang saw this as a way to close the distance with Qingming.

”Go, summon Jinghua,” Xu Hengjiang immediately instructed someone nearby.

”Yes!”

Before long, Teng Jinghua arrived in the room.

”Alliance Hierarch, Master Su.” Teng Jinghua bowed to the two.

During the battle the day before, whether it was Su Yuan’s display of formidable strength or the timely assistance to the Storm Alliance, Teng Jinghua had already grown to respect him.

Xu Hengjiang looked at Teng Jinghua and smiled with a hint of nostalgia, ”Jinghua, you’ve been with the Storm Alliance for six or seven years now, haven’t you?”

Teng Jinghua nodded, ”Yes, seven years ago I wandered into the Storm Alliance and hit it off with the Alliance Hierarch at a tavern. Your recognition invited me to join the Storm Alliance.”

Su Yuan was quite surprised; it turned out the two met at a tavern.

It seemed Su Yuan might roam around in the future to recruit talent...

”Alliance Hierarch, you asked this because...?”

Xu Hengjiang smiled, ”Now I’ve discussed with Master Su to hand over Zhao Yue City to Qingming, but it requires some personnel to assist in management.

Master Su specifically requested you, which is an honor for you. From now on, lead your branch’s personnel and work with Master Su’s team.”

This almost meant handing Teng Jinghua over to Su Yuan.

Teng Jinghua looked up at Su Yuan with a hopeful and curious expression in his eyes.

Seeking to follow a strong person is a desire most cultivators have, and Teng Jinghua was no exception.

After a brief contemplation, Teng Jinghua nodded, ”Since it’s the Alliance Hierarch’s order, I will certainly assist Master Su!”

With that, Teng Jinghua lifted a cup of tea, half-kneeling before Xu Hengjiang, and drank it all.

Xu Hengjiang stepped forward, helped him up, and smiled, ”Get up, work diligently with Master Su, you are the most familiar with the coastal area.”

”Yes!”

After paying a deep bow again, Teng Jinghua stood up and approached Su Yuan.

Su Yuan also nodded and smiled, ”Welcome, Branch Leader Teng.”

”It is my honor.” Teng Jinghua respectfully bowed and then said, ”Master Su may call me Jinghua.”
