Supreme Harem God System

“This is the fourteenth one.”

An Eternal Level Light Born, Araya, walked into a room with a solemn look on her face. In front of her sat another Light Born, Lucian, another Eternal Level Light Born, and not just any Eternal—

He was the second strongest.

Well—

Now the strongest Light Born.

Yes, after Auren, it was him who was known for his strength, the only Light Born who could actually face Auren and not lose as pathetically as others did.

Lucian was strong, stronger than almost all the Light Borns, and with Auren now out of the picture, his importance only grew more.

But…

Lucian did not like that.

If it was any other situation, a situation where Auren somehow perished or was weakened and he replaced him, he wouldn’t have minded.

But with Light being targeted as strongly as it was right now—

Lucian feared that he too had become a target. He thought that Auren was taken out because he was the hope of Light.

The strongest being the Anomaly could defeat, so he did.

And now?

That being was him.

If Anomaly targeted him, the Light Borns who now had their hopes on him would feel crushed.

Of course, he was giving himself too much credit. No Light Born actually held any hopes on him, not when the one stronger than him was defeated without having much of a chance to fight.

Honestly, most Light Borns believed the Anomaly didn’t even know of his existence, and if he did, he didn’t really care.

But of course, they couldn’t say it out loud.

Not when the other party was stronger than them and held more power.

“That quickly?”

Lucian raised his eyebrow.

“It has only been two months since lockdown began. It clearly doesn’t have any effect.”

He commented, letting go of the documents he was reading.

Araya did not say anything, she just stood still, thinking.

“How many does it make in total, just in this week?”

Lucian asked.

“This was the third.”

Araya answered in a low voice. She knew it too, it wasn’t good news.

“Three in a single week.

It is happening fast.

Faster than we had expected, they are much more cowardly than we were expecting.”

Again, Araya didn’t say anything.

Honestly, she understood.

The Light Worlds were in ultimate panic, their emotions were being played with. They were being locked in the name of being protected, and while it might have worked at some level, the issue was that even after going through what they were going through, even after abandoning their freedom, even after letting another being peek into their minds every single month—

They weren’t actually protected.

This was more about protecting Light’s reputation than protecting them, and after Light’s desperate action, it was becoming clearer and clearer.

It did not seem like Light cared about its people, and when every single one of their actions was only strengthening this point, how long would the worlds still be willing to serve under them?

At this point, it was no longer about loyalty either—

It was about fear.

The Worlds were scared to leave Light, not because they were scared of being targeted by Anomaly and being defenseless against him. Anomaly had already proved that Light’s protection did absolutely nothing to stop him.

It didn’t even slow him down.

They were scared of Light itself, of what Light might do if they decided to leave.

After all, because Light now controlled the information, the Worlds still did not know about the fourteen worlds that had already left Light. If they did, nothing would have stopped them from leaving too.

But…

There was only so much fear could actually make people do.

After constant suppression in almost every way, almost every single world would leave.

It was only a matter of time.

And both Light Borns present in the room knew that.

“How long do you think we have?”

Just when both Light Borns were thinking about everything that had happened, suddenly Lucian asked.

Araya looked at him, and for a moment, she didn’t say anything.

Both Light Borns obviously knew that the way things were going, all Light Worlds would leave the Light Faction, and the Faction would… perish.

And obviously, since they knew that, Lord Light and Seraphielle knew that before making this decision as well.

So why do it?

Why do something so… self-destructive?

The answer was simple.

Light wasn’t self-destructing, it was… preparing.

After everything that had happened, if there was one good thing that came for Light out of this, it was the fact that they now held complete control over the information that went around the Light Faction.

And together with this—

They also had control over what information regarding the Light Faction would travel to the rest of the Universe, which, right now, was… nothing.

Yes, with the memory scans, it wasn’t just the Anomaly’s Agents that Light had caught; spies from the other three Factions were caught too.

Light was… completely spotless right now, with absolutely no outside spies in their Faction.

It was rare for a Faction that big to be so clean.

And Light—

That too without anyone suspecting them.

After all, right now, Light was only a victim. A victim that had been tormented by an enemy and had no way to retaliate.

What else could the victim possibly do?

Sure, the entire Universe was laughing at Light and pitying them, but in truth, no being, absolutely no being had a possible solution to the problem they were facing.

Not even the Infinities.

Somewhere in their minds, they just considered themselves lucky to not be in Seraphielle’s position.

Not that they would ever admit it.

But yes, in the eyes of the entire Universe, Light was a poor victim, a victim who did not know what to do.

Right now—

No one in the Universe actually suspected Light. Even when Light killed all the traitors and spies inside their territory, not one being suspected them.

They just understood that it was only a desperate act.

But Light—

Light was using this chance to… prepare for the War.

The War between the four Infinities.

A war that was now… inevitable.

Especially now that Anomaly was involved.

Lady Seraphielle had already sensed it. The other three Infinities had no plans of helping them; they were hoping the Anomaly and Light would face each other and were waiting for a result.

And obviously, Seraphielle had no plans to do that.

She had no intention of making everything so easy for them.

So she—

She was preparing for War instead.

She was going to use this chance to start a War with one of the Infinities, and because her force was more prepared, because her people were already going around, explaining the plan to important worlds, because the resources were already distributed, because the armies were already prepared, because the plan was already made—

The moment Seraphielle gave the order, the Light Army would move and within moments, before the enemy could realize—

The enemy would be crippled.

Seraphielle had also ordered a few of her important worlds to actually stop doing things that made them Anomaly’s targets.

So quite a few Light Worlds now ran on actual justice, worlds where even the powerful were punished for injustice, and the weak and the right…

They were thriving.

Light Worlds were actually operating like they once pretended to be.

The only thing was—

The two Light Borns did not know how long they had.

Already fourteen worlds had left their side, and Lady Seraphielle still hadn’t ’reacted’ to it. If the number continued to rise, it would only be a matter of time before the other Infinities started suspecting Lady Seraphielle of being… too silent.

The Light Faction wanted to avoid that.

So they were trying to rush the planning and the preparation.

Of course, they were also being careful; this was important, a War through which they would restore their name and the faith people had in them.

A War through which they would display their absolute strength.

They wanted every single thing to be absolutely perfect.

And once everything was prepared, every single army knew what to do, which worlds they were supposed to target, and how quickly they should finish the job, every single Light being had the necessary resources—resources that Light had been saving for trillions of years, strong artifacts, relics, items that would help them win the War—

When every single thing was accounted for and absolutely perfect.

Lady Seraphielle would make the move.

As for how the entire Universe would react to it—

Well, if everything went according to plan, then by the time they would know about everything that was happening—

They would only be able to react to the reports because—

Everything would have already happened by then.

As for the Infinities?

Other than the one Lady Seraphielle would be targeting, the rest wouldn’t involve themselves, because they would use the same tactic they had been using right now.

The tactic of watching two Infinities fight it out and wait.

That was the ultimate plan.

A plan Seraphielle Light had a lot of hopes on; the only thing she was waiting for was for the preparations to be completed.

Preparations that would take… at most…

A few hours.

Yes, in just a few hours, everything was about to change.

Or that was what Seraphielle was hoping for, but while she was resting on her throne, waiting for the report—

“Lady Seraphielle.”

Lord Light called with a somewhat surprised and… frustrated look on his face.

“What?”

Seraphielle asked, and Lord Light—

“It’s Lord Orravyn. He and the other Infinities wish to talk.”
