Supreme Harem God System

“So she… ran away?”

Nux tilted his head, and Sharnoth—

She frowned in confusion—

“Why would she run away?

What could possibly scare her?”

At those words, Nux grinned.

“Indeed, indeed, there’s nothing here that would scare her away. She is the safest when she’s here.”

He nodded. Sharnoth was still confused, not understanding why Nux was saying what he was saying, but in the end, she nodded back, agreeing with his words.

In here, Nux was at his strongest, and the fact that not anyone could just barge in here without Nux’s permission indeed made this the safest place for her.

“Anyways, so she left because the fight was over?”

Nux asked, curious. Sharnoth nodded again.

“She came out earlier than usual because she wanted to take her revenge, but since you said she should now wait for a few days before continuing, she decided it would be better to return later and let me have control.”

“So she left the ‘boring’ part to you, eh? Again.”

Nux laughed.

Sharnoth shook her head.

“This arrangement works for me. She only cares about battles, while I was never interested in them. I always tried to solve situations diplomatically and—”

The woman then looked into Nux’s eyes and—

“I do not consider having a conversation with you ‘boring’. I find you rather fascinating.”

She answered honestly, and at those words, Nux raised his eyebrows.

“Is that so…?”

“Of course.”

Sharnoth nodded as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“How could I not?

You control an entirely different Universe.

A literal Universe. In here, you govern all Primordial Energies, controlling even the smallest of things.

You command an army of Eternals—Eternals that cannot be killed—”

“Well, they are not exactly unkillable. We saw it just now.”

Nux interrupted.

He still remembered how he lost his connection to that Light Born.

Seraphielle Light…

The Infinity of Light—she held the power to kill his immortal army—the power to kill beings who were connected with him through Lane’s Law.

That would mean…

She also had the power to kill his wives.

And Nux was quite sure that it wasn’t just her; the other three Infinities would have the power to do just that.

The Infinities… just as Azriel said—they were dangerous.

“Infinities have always been exceptions, Nux.”

Sharnoth commented in a calming manner.

“They are beings who even the Universe reacts to, beings who have controlled the Universe since time immemorial. They know things we do not. What they can do should not be considered normal.”

“They are the enemies I go against. I cannot turn a blind eye to their actions. Me and the people I cherish—our lives depend on it. Every step I take needs to be carefully planned.”

Nux answered with a serious look on his face.

That time, it was just a few subordinates, so he didn’t particularly care about it, but…

What if it were his wives instead?

Of course, he wasn’t foolish enough to send his wives in front of an Infinity, but… what if in the future, he was caught by surprise?

What if another Infinity did something even more unexpected and ended up harming his wives?

Nux feared that possibility, and no matter how much he tried, even now, he couldn’t get it out of his head.

“I am not telling you to turn a blind eye to their actions.”

Sharnoth, however, shook her head.

“But cornering yourself with your own fear isn’t an answer either. I would know because that is exactly what I did when you and the Leander Family targeted my World.”

Nux turned, and Sharnoth smiled lightly.

“I was facing an enemy whose powers I did not understand—an enemy I could not track, an enemy that went beyond what I or anyone around me knew. And when that enemy constantly targeted me—

I broke down.”

Sharnoth’s face then turned solemn and—

“And I do not wish the same to happen to you.”

Nux stared at her in silence for a while.

“Then what do you want me to do?”

He asked.

“I do not know.”

Sharnoth shook her head.

“You understand battles and strategy far better than I do. I only know one thing—the advantage you held against me, you still hold it, even when you stand against an Infinity.

Just like you do not know the full extent of her abilities, she does not understand you either. This battle of the unknown—you will have a clear advantage because…

You aren’t the only one she needs to worry about.”

The Chaos Heir spoke with a meaningful look on her face, and Nux instantly understood what she was talking about.

The other Infinities.

Other than Seraphielle, none of them had revealed themselves yet, and Seraphielle used that chance to shoot them down in the ‘Universal Speech’ she gave—the one that targeted every other Supreme World.

Of course, a political stunt like this wouldn’t mean much when the beings he was dealing with had been there since the true beginning of the Universe, but…

When you do a Universal stunt like that, you need to ensure one thing—

Do not fail.

And that was exactly what Seraphielle failed to do.

She failed.

She failed to protect the ‘bait’ the Four Infinities had set up together, and this… this would have its repercussions.

Nux could already imagine what must have happened.

Everything he had done so far must have alerted the Infinities. They must have tried to find information regarding him, but since Yrniel’s shield was back on and he himself was no longer a part of the main universe, the Infinities must have failed to gather anything.

The only clue they might have had was Sharnoth, and connecting Sharnoth’s history with Vexarion and Aurendor, Vexarion would basically become their only way to get their hands on the Anomaly—or at the very least, gain some sort of information about him, information that would help them catch him.

But Seraphielle—

Because of her arrogance, she was tricked by the Anomaly and failed to protect the only lead the Infinities had. In no Universe would the four Infinities let this go.

Especially not when the Anomaly would still continue to wreak havoc throughout the Universe and they would have no particular way to stop him.

This would turn all three Infinities against the Infinity of Light, and under this constant pressure—and the pressure of the Anomaly, who had only been targeting Worlds and beings that belonged to her Faction—the Light Infinity, in turn, would blame the other three Infinities for ‘planning’ all this to target her.

She would think of the Anomaly—a being who has no origin—as an ally of one or all three Supreme Worlds, who is only targeting the Supreme World of Light, or in other words, her.

Yes, if everything went according to plan—

The Supreme World of Light would turn against the other three Supreme Worlds. If everything went even better, this might even start another war between the Supreme Worlds—a war that would plunge the entire Universe into Chaos.

And in that Chaos—

The one who would thrive the most wouldn’t be any of the Supreme Worlds—it would be Nux, since it would not only give him the chance to actually witness the true strength of the Four Infinities, it would even weaken the Supreme Worlds, making it easier for him to destroy or devour them.

And who knows?

The war might even kill one or more Infinities—or better—make one of them turn sides and… join him.

“I would definitely let her join~”

Nux muttered to himself as he thought this far.

It wasn’t just his wishful thinking. With how things were going, it wasn’t impossible for Seraphielle to be singled out and for the other three Infinities to use this moment to get rid of her. If he was lucky, this might push Seraphielle apart from the others and make her turn towards him.

Of course, it was still a question of how he was going to devour her since he couldn’t exactly appear in front of her on his own.

Not to mention that even if he devoured her, he wasn’t sure if he would be able to control her inside his Universe because of how absurdly strong she was.

There were many more questions in his head, but Nux also knew all this was just his wishful thinking—a playful joke he wasn’t taking seriously, not when his and his wives’ lives were at stake.

“Hmm? What did you say?”

While Nux was playing out his own fantasies in his mind, Sharnoth asked, tilting her head in confusion.

“Hmm?”

Nux frowned, and Sharnoth—

“Who are you talking about? Who is joining?”

She asked directly.

And Nux’s smile cracked.

“N-Nothing, I just blurted out without thinking.

My focus is on someone else right now anyway.”

He spoke, looking at Sharnoth as the look in her eyes changed.

“Someone else? Who?”

The Chaos Heir questioned, and instead of answering directly, Nux slowly walked toward her, bringing his face dangerously close to hers and—

“Don’t worry~

You will find out soon enough.”
