Supreme Devouring God

The Bloodthirsty Demon Blade was obtained by Qin Chen from the Treasure Pavilion of the Thunder Sky Sect.

It followed Qin Chen through battles all along the way.

Relying on absorbing sacrificial blood to evolve and upgrade.

But it remained at the level of a Tribulation Transformation Holy Artifact for over a year.

Now it has become a Daoist Artifact, even though it is only a one-star Daoist Artifact, it is an earth-shattering transformation.

”Come on, Bloodthirsty Demon Blade, let me feel just how formidable you are now!”

Qin Chen’s expression was exhilarated.

He held the entirely renewed Bloodthirsty Demon Blade, merely swinging it lightly forward.

”Swish!”

A streak of crimson sword energy swept forward.

In an instant, at least a hundred Blood Sea Spirits were all slaughtered.

The power of Great Dao!

Shocking beyond belief!

Combined with the overwhelming demon intent of the Bloodthirsty Demon Blade itself, it was even more soul-stirring.

”Fortunately, you cultivated the Great Ghost Illusion Technique and methods like war intent, with a strong will. If an ordinary person wielded the Bloodthirsty Demon Blade, they would probably be devoured by its demon intent,” said the Little Fairy.

Qin Chen smiled and said, ”This blood sea is still vast, which means the Bloodthirsty Demon Blade can still upgrade!”

”Plop!”

Qin Chen plunged entirely into the blood sea.

The Bloodthirsty Demon Blade continuously absorbed the blood water within, and the power of Great Dao on the blade’s body grew stronger.

”I wonder who the gatekeeper on this eighth level is?”

Qin Chen was slightly curious.

So far, he had not encountered the gatekeeper of this eighth level.

He was only constantly battling the endless Blood Sea Spirits.

Just after saying this.

Qin Chen felt a monstrous bloodthirsty pressure coming from the front, this aura made Qin Chen’s whole body tense, giving him a sense of danger.

”It has appeared!”

Qin Chen immediately focused his gaze forward.

He saw a large, round creature, entirely crimson, appear before Qin Chen’s sight.

What caught Qin Chen’s attention the most were its pair of crimson eyes.

A pair of eyes larger than Qin Chen’s fists.

Most importantly, its entire body was flowing with an intense killing aura, as if it had just slaughtered countless beings.

This killing aura discouraged all the Blood Sea Spirits from approaching even a little.

”This is a Slaughter Dao Spirit!”

The Little Fairy exclaimed in surprise, ”A Slaughter Dao Spirit is formed from the soul of a martial artist who loved to kill after they died, extremely dangerous, because it no longer has consciousness, only the desire to slaughter.”

”These Blood Sea Spirits probably are born because of this Slaughter Dao Spirit. A trace of its aura is enough to conjure a Blood Sea Spirit.”

”And this blood sea, if I’m not mistaken, is likely formed from the blood of the beings the martial artist, who became the Slaughter Dao Spirit, killed in their lifetime.”

”Over time, this naturally gave rise to so many Blood Sea Spirits.”

In Qin Chen’s eyes, a tinge of seriousness emerged, but there was also some excitement: ”I wonder what kind of reward I’ll get after slaying it?”

The Little Fairy said, ”Qin Chen, this Slaughter Dao Spirit is not easy to deal with. You can now experience the power of the rare Dao Intent, the Slaughter Dao Intent.”

”Whoosh!”

The Slaughter Dao Spirit suddenly charged at Qin Chen.

Instantly, a towering killing intent, like a volcanic eruption, bore down on Qin Chen.

”So this is the Slaughter Dao Intent?”

Qin Chen’s heart quivered slightly.

Compared to the several ordinary Dao Intents Qin Chen had seen before, the Slaughter Dao Intent before him was so much stronger!

No wonder it’s classified as a rare Dao Intent!

Suddenly, a thought germinated in Qin Chen’s heart, wishing he could also comprehend the Slaughter Dao Intent.

Though possible, it’s very difficult.

Qin Chen swung the Bloodthirsty Demon Blade forward!

”Bang!”

However, the strength of the Slaughter Dao Spirit was beyond Qin Chen’s expectations.

After a single collision.

Qin Chen was directly blasted away, the fierce Slaughter Dao Intent like a piercing cold wind, instantly rending Qin Chen’s physical body to pieces.

”So strong.”

Qin Chen looked up in shock at the Slaughter Dao Spirit, at least at the Daoist King level.

Fortunately, he was earlier aware to leave, or he might have faced mortal danger against this Slaughter Dao Spirit.

The Slaughter Dao Spirit lifted its over ten-meter-long arms, then fiercely slammed towards Qin Chen.

”Reverse Demon Dominating Sky Slash!”

Qin Chen faced the challenge, executing a fierce slash at the Slaughter Dao Spirit.

”Boom!”

However, the previous outcome repeated itself.

Qin Chen’s injuries worsened!

The Slaughter Dao Spirit gave Qin Chen no breathing room, immediately charging up after blasting Qin Chen away.

Its whole body flowed with Slaughter Dao Intent, like sharp needles, aiming to pierce through Qin Chen’s body.

Qin Chen immediately unleashed his Divine-level Dao Body and Dual Essence Dao Body, continuously pouring Elemental Power into the Bloodthirsty Demon Blade, meeting it with another slash.

”Boom!”

Countless blood waters were blasted upwards, like a bomb exploding underwater.

Continuously using the Divine-level Dao Body and Dual Essence Dao Body.

Qin Chen barely managed to withstand the onslaught of the Slaughter Dao Spirit.

”The Slaughter Dao Intent is really too strong, Little Fairy, can you determine what realm this Slaughter Dao Intent belongs to?”

Qin Chen was deeply alarmed.

He had even unleashed his Divine-level Dao Body but was just barely holding on, the terrifying level of this Slaughter Dao Spirit was evident.

The Little Fairy said, ”It should be around the Third Realm.”

”If I could comprehend the Slaughter Dao Intent, even if it was just the First Realm, I would surely have a decisive victory.”

Qin Chen thought to himself.

”Now I roughly know the power of this Slaughter Dao Spirit.”

”This time, the battle has just begun!”

This time, Qin Chen didn’t wait for the Slaughter Dao Spirit to attack him.

He took the initiative to charge up.

The Slaughter Dao Spirit let out a low growl, seemingly enraged by Qin Chen’s audacity to provoke it, lifting its arms, intending to squash Qin Chen into a meat patty.

”Swish!”

However, Qin Chen seemed to have anticipated this, immediately darting to the blood sea’s surface as the Slaughter Dao Spirit made its move.

Those Blood Sea Spirits feared the Slaughter Dao Spirit, so they dared not get close.

The Slaughter Dao Spirit naturally followed Qin Chen, leaping from the blood sea.

A hint of cunning flickered in Qin Chen’s eyes: ”Here, my Wind Technique can be maximized.”

Underwater, the Wind Technique is restricted.

But in the air, Qin Chen would be in his element!

The Slaughter Dao Spirit, though strong.

But ultimately, it’s just a spirit without consciousness.

Thus, where Qin Chen far surpasses it is not in strength, but in wisdom!

”Whoosh!”

Qin Chen wielded the Wind Technique with agility akin to a swimming fish, circling behind the Slaughter Dao Spirit.

”Boom!”

Unexpectedly, the Slaughter Dao Spirit didn’t even turn around, its back unleashed a violent Slaughter Dao Intent towards Qin Chen.

”I want to see just how strong your Slaughter Dao Intent really is!”

”Taste my self-created sword technique...”

”Soul Burying!”
