Supreme Devouring God

Wang Yan said, ”No, we’re leaving.”

”What?”

Wang Yan’s decision left everyone else in shock.

”Brother Yan, are we just leaving like this? If the Thirteen Elders find out we failed to complete the mission, they will surely blame us.”

Wang Yan said, ”That’s only a blame. If it were you guys, forget about killing over forty Poison Sand Fat Worms, would you even be able to survive against them?”

Everyone shook their heads.

It’s impossible.

”But they did it.”

A hint of dread flashed in Wang Yan’s eyes, ”Even though they are not in the best condition right now, killing them isn’t a certainty. Since that’s the case, we might as well report back to the Thirteen Elders.”

The group was silent for a moment, and someone asked, ”What if they want to kill us?”

Wang Yan said, ”They are busy recovering right now; they don’t have time to kill us.”

”Let’s go!”

He led the group in turning around and leaving.

But unexpectedly, just at this moment.

A booming voice resounded from above them, like a peal of heavenly thunder.

”You plan to leave? Have you asked us?”

This was a telekinetic voice transmission, echoing in the ears of every one of Wang Yan’s group.

Wang Yan and others were suddenly halted in place.

In the distance, Qin Chen tapped the ground with his feet, immediately flying out, ”Catch them! Kill them!”

Qin Qi and Ji Tian followed closely behind.

How arrogant had Wang Yan and the others been earlier?

They sat on the side, drinking and watching the performance.

Treating them no better than monkeys for entertainment.

And now, they just hoped to walk away?

Naive!

Wang Yan’s face changed slightly, ”These three guys, after that previous battle, without any recovery, do they really plan to just come at us?”

This was something he hadn’t expected.

”Then Brother Yan, what do we do now?” someone asked.

Wang Yan immediately turned around, a sharp gleam in his eyes, ”Since they’ve delivered themselves to us, why should we leave?”

His choice to leave was merely out of caution towards Qin Chen and the others.

He was prudent, so he intended to retreat.

But now, with Qin Chen and the others pressing intensely, Wang Yan’s internal anger erupted.

If they were in their Peak State, they might not be a match for Qin Chen and the others.

But at this moment, with Qin Chen and the others in a poor state, they definitely had a chance to win!

Moreover, if they simply retreated now, they couldn’t report back without results.

It’s fortunate there’s a resolution!

”Remember, when they appear, don’t hold back, you must heavily injure them, don’t give them any chance.”

”Otherwise, it might be us who die.”

Wang Yan pulled out a sickle from his hand, which was a Tribulation Transformation Holy Artifact.

”Understood!”

Everyone behind Wang Yan responded.

Quick as lightning.

Qin Chen and the others had already appeared within Wang Yan’s and his group’s vision.

”Kill!”

Wang Yan roared.

Without giving Qin Chen and the others a chance to react, they took the initiative.

”Big Brother! I’ll block them!”

Seeing Qin Chen not in the best condition, Qin Qi darted in front of Qin Chen, transforming into a gigantic black eagle.

”Boom!”

Qin Qi flapped his wings.

Instantly, the wind rose and clouds gathered.

The ground’s sandstorm rose a hundred meters high, forming a tumultuous sandstorm.

”Since he wants to step up, then kill him first!”

Wang Yan, holding the sickle, charged at Qin Qi.

”Swish!”

The sickle slashed towards Qin Qi, with a sharpness like that of swords and blades, piercing the mind, causing cracks in space.

”Splurt!”

Qin Qi’s wings immediately split open, dripping blood.

Blood spurted out!

Yet Qin Qi made no sound, for injuries only heightened his ferocity!

”Boom!”

He swung his other wing, the wing bringing up terrifying winds, sweeping all and burying everything, the entire space stirred by it.

Wang Yan’s expression changed.

He sensed that Qin Qi’s Cultivation was actually weaker than his.

But Qin Qi’s strike made him feel that if he didn’t defend, he’d surely be severely injured.

To be safe.

He retreated backward.

”Do you know the consequence of hurting my brother?”

Unexpectedly, just at that moment.

A sudden voice, unexpectedly sounded from behind Wang Yan.

Wang Yan was so frightened, his Dead Soul almost surfaced!

”Who?!”

He turned abruptly, feeling a chill down his spine, pupils wide — all basic reactions to sudden fright.

”Splurt!”

But his only answer.

Was a sharp blade, directly resting on his neck.

Wang Yan’s body stiffened.

Because if this blade had wanted to kill him, his head would’ve already fallen.

In his view.

Was Qin Chen’s cold face and eyes filled with Killing Aura.

Wang Yan trembled violently.

”Stop everything!”

He immediately shouted.

The others, hearing him, stopped at once.

A battle on the brink abruptly paused.

The surroundings fell silent.

Everyone looked towards Wang Yan’s side.

”Brother Yan!”

Seeing Wang Yan’s life at the mercy of Qin Chen’s blade.

Many people changed expressions, some panicked.

What happened?

How in the sudden twist, did Wang Yan have Qin Chen’s blade at his neck?

In fact.

Not only them.

Even Wang Yan himself hadn’t realized it!

Because after previously fighting the Poison Sand Fat Worms, he had exerted too much, so Qin Chen’s face still had an unhealthy pallor.

But, this pallor, at this moment, was particularly eerie and chilling.

”Who sent you?”

Though they had stepped onto the mastermind, Qin Chen still needed confirmation.

Wang Yan’s lips trembled.

If he betrayed the Thirteen Elders, it would be his death.

But if he didn’t, he might die now.

”You’d better tell the truth,” Qin Chen said calmly.

Wang Yan gritted his teeth and said, ”It was the Thirteen Elders! They had us ambush you here, awakening the Poison Sand Fat Worms underground to encircle and kill you.”

”All of this was instructed by the Thirteen Elders, none of it is our own doing.”

He immediately started distancing himself from the Thirteen Elders.

”It really was him!”

Both Qin Qi and Ji Tian were furious beyond measure.

”Where is he now?” Qin Chen asked.

Wang Yan said, ”I’m not sure; the Thirteen Elders always act mysteriously. Even I have to find someone to report before meeting them.”

Ji Tian saw the same for the Thirteen Elders, requiring intermediaries to report.

”Splurt!”

With that, Qin Chen’s hand rose and fell.

Directly slicing through Wang Yan’s neck.

Wang Yan’s head fell.

Blood gushed like a fountain from his neck, and soon Wang Yan’s body collapsed.

The rest immediately panicked.

”Thud! Thud!”

They all immediately knelt in front of Qin Chen.

”Please don’t kill us!”

They pleaded.

Qin Chen remained expressionless, ”Kill them all.”

Those who kill deserve to be killed in return.

No matter if they came due to the Thirteen Elders’ orders, since they came, they should be prepared to die.

Qin Qi and Ji Tian took immediate action.

Their bodies were all devoured by the Devouring Ants.

”Thirteen Elders...”

Qin Chen looked towards the horizon, his gaze cold and piercing.
