Supreme Devouring God

”Qin Qi.”

Qin Chen shouted.

Qin Qi saw Qin Chen and hurriedly came over: ”Big brother, I’ve been waiting for you for a long time. You’re finally here.”

Qin Chen pointed at his ear.

Qin Qi’s expression changed, and he transmitted his voice: ”Big brother, what happened to your ear?”

Qin Chen laughed: ”Just a small problem. Why are you so anxious to find me?”

Qin Qi said: ”Shishi is in trouble. When she went out, she was spotted by the Wind Sound Ancient Clan. Because of Shishi’s special physique, the Wind Sound Ancient Clan captured her on the spot.”

”Ji Tian is currently gathering information at the Wind Sound Ancient Clan. According to what he found out, the Wind Sound Ancient Clan wants their young clan leader to marry Shishi.”

Qin Chen frowned: ”Shishi is, after all, a disciple of your Heavenly God Mountain. Aren’t you going to deal with this?”

Qin Qi helplessly said: ”The key issue is here; the Wind Sound Ancient Clan hasn’t harmed Shishi, they just want to marry her.”

”Now Shishi is inside the Wind Sound Ancient Clan with no news reaching Heavenly God Mountain. It’s essentially house arrest!”

”Moreover, putting aside Shishi’s personal wishes, this marriage is something both Heavenly God Mountain and the Wind Sound Ancient Clan would be happy to see.”

”But, Shishi is still young. She hasn’t even met that young clan leader. How can there be talk of feelings?”

Qin Chen said: ”If Shishi wants to marry, I won’t stop it. But if she doesn’t want to, and the Wind Sound Ancient Clan wants to force her, then let’s wait and see!”

Back then, Qin Chen with such power, caused a big scene at the Great Star Palace.

Now, he’s willing to cause a commotion at the Wind Sound Ancient Clan for Shishi.

Of course, before this, Qin Chen has to understand some of Shishi’s situation.

Qin Qi said: ”Who knows what the Wind Sound Ancient Clan will do to Shishi? Also, Ji Tian once attempted to meet Shishi as a friend, but he was directly ignored by the Wind Sound Ancient Clan.”

A gleam flashed in Qin Chen’s eyes: ”The Wind Sound Ancient Clan better not force marriage. I’ll go to the Wind Sound Ancient Clan with you.”

Even though the Wind Sound Ancient Clan is one of the Qian State Ten Clans.

But Qin Chen doesn’t care about such things in his actions.

Moreover, this matter is very time-sensitive and can’t be delayed.

Because no one knows how the Wind Sound Ancient Clan will ultimately treat Wang Shishi.

After all, Wang Shishi is young, and when she met Qin Chen, she was very innocent. Even though she has matured a lot being with Qin Chen, she is still just a sixteen-year-old child.

With a naive temperament, she might inevitably be bullied.

Qin Chen has always considered Wang Shishi as a sister, and he definitely won’t allow his sister to be bullied.

Qin Qi nodded: ”Ji Tian will be supporting us inside the Wind Sound Ancient Clan.”

...

Three days later.

Qin Chen and Qin Qi arrived at Sunset City of the Wind Sound Ancient Clan.

The area controlled by the Wind Sound Ancient Clan is vast.

There are dozens of cities.

Extremely prosperous.

Sunset City is one of them.

Upon reaching Sunset City.

Qin Qi led Qin Chen to an inn within the city.

”Qin Chen.”

Ji Tian was inside the inn room, and seeing Qin Chen open the door, he should have been happy but couldn’t bring himself to be.

Though Qin Chen’s arrival gave him some hope.

”How is it?”

Qin Chen asked bluntly.

Ji Tian said: ”The Wind Sound Ancient Clan likely hasn’t treated Shishi well. I’ve tried everything, even merely requesting a meeting with Shishi, but it all ended up sinking without a trace.”

”Someone is deliberately blocking me, and this must be someone from the Wind Sound Ancient Clan, as others have no reason to do so.”

Qin Chen said: ”We must see Shishi. If we can’t, then find someone; find an authoritative figure within the Wind Sound Ancient Clan.”

First, he needs to ensure Wang Shishi’s safety.

Ji Tian said: ”I thought the same, I’ve already arranged a meeting with the Thirteen Elders of the Wind Sound Ancient Clan tonight at the Sunset Restaurant in Sunset City. The three of us will go together.”

Qin Chen asked: ”What is the status of the Thirteen Elders within the Wind Sound Ancient Clan?”

Ji Tian said: ”There are eighteen elders within the Wind Sound Ancient Clan, each managing their own area; Sunset City and the surrounding two cities fall under the jurisdiction of the Thirteen Elders.”

Qin Chen asked further: ”Within the Wind Sound Ancient Clan, aside from the eighteen elders, the person with the most influence is the clan leader?”

Ji Tian said: ”There are also two deputy clan chiefs. Besides them, the young clan leader has considerable power, with influence comparable to the deputy clan chiefs, surpassing the eighteen elders.”

”So, you’re saying that the Thirteen Elders we are about to meet might not be able to let us see Shishi?”

Qin Chen’s face slightly darkened.

Ji Tian said: ”That’s possible. I’ve tried my best; even meeting with the Thirteen Elders is extremely difficult, let alone meeting the two deputy clan chiefs of the Wind Sound Ancient Clan.”

Qin Chen said: ”In that case, let’s see the Thirteen Elders tonight and hope he has a way.”

As night fell.

Sunset City was brightly lit.

Especially the Sunset Restaurant, which was magnificently grand.

In the luxurious private room of the restaurant.

Qin Chen, Qin Qi, and Ji Tian were already waiting there early.

This private room alone cost five million Elemental Crystals.

Waiting for two hours.

There was still no sign of the Thirteen Elders.

Qin Qi furrowed his brows: ”Is this intentional or is he not coming at all?”

Ji Tian said: ”Calm down, we should be patient since we’re asking for a favor, it’s all for Shishi.”

After waiting for an hour.

The Thirteen Elders leisurely walked into the luxurious private room.

Seeing Qin Chen and the others, the Thirteen Elders smiled slightly: ”I’ve heard you’ve been waiting for a while, waiting for me all this time?”

Clearly, he was late, yet he purposely mentioned it. This was somewhat arrogant.

Ji Tian, being a prince of the Great Star Dynasty, was quite familiar with such situations.

He said: ”The Thirteen Elders are our seniors, we juniors waited a while, it’s nothing.”

Qin Chen said: ”We asked the Thirteen Elders here for...”

The Thirteen Elders sat on one side, directly interrupting Qin Chen: ”Let’s eat first, then talk.”

He picked up the menu and with familiarity, began ordering dishes.

There was anger in Qin Qi’s eyes, but Qin Chen held him back: ”Calm down.”

Rarely does anyone dare to put on airs in front of Qin Chen.

However, everything is for Shishi. As long as the Thirteen Elders are not too excessive, Qin Chen can ignore it.

This guy was truly unrestrained.

He ordered dishes like crazy.

And they were all the finest dishes.

Not treating himself as an outsider at all.

Qin Chen and the others ate a little, waiting for the Thirteen Elders to finish.

”How was the meal, Thirteen Elders?”

Ji Tian asked.

The Thirteen Elders slowly put down his utensils and wiped his mouth: ”Barely satisfactory.”

A whole table of dishes he ate alone, yet still said barely satisfactory.

Ji Tian said: ”Then can we start discussing matters now?”

The Thirteen Elders said: ”You want to see Wang Shishi, right?”

He was straightforward, getting right to the point.

But his words made Qin Chen feel like this person was about to make an exorbitant demand.
