Supreme Devouring God

Chapter 190: Chapter 190: Assessment Objectives Released!

Qin Chen infused his Elemental Power into it.

”All Disciples who have just joined the Blood Continent Sect, immediately proceed to the Task Island within the Sect. Those who do not arrive within half an hour will be deemed to have given up on the examination and will be expelled from the Blood Continent Sect!”

This was a message.

”The New Disciple examination has begun!”

Qin Chen looked towards Lin Songyun.

Lin Songyun had also just finished reading the message.

”The New Disciple examination has started? Where should we assemble?”

Zhao Tengqi asked.

”Task Island.”

Qin Chen replied.

He knew this place.

There was a Task Hall on Task Island.

The Blood Continent Sect would continuously issue various tasks within the Task Hall.

Completing these tasks would reward them with Points.

This was another way to earn Points, aside from killing Sea Beasts.

”I know the way; I’ll show you there so you won’t get lost and be late,”

Zhao Tengqi said.

”Alright.”

Qin Chen and Lin Songyun were not pretentious.

After boarding Zhao Tengqi’s Sea Traveling Boat, in about ten minutes, Qin Chen and Lin Songyun arrived at Task Island.

As soon as they arrived at Task Island, Qin Chen saw Elder Kong Yuxuan.

”Elder Kong.”

Qin Chen and Lin Songyun quickly greeted Kong Yuxuan.

Kong Yuxuan smiled and nodded.

”Chen Qin, Sister Lin Songyun, I wish you both a smooth passage through the examination!”

Zhao Tengqi told Qin Chen and the other.

”Definitely.”

Qin Chen nodded slightly to Zhao Tengqi.

”I’ll head back first then; I’ll wait for your good news,”

Zhao Tengqi said with a smile.

Qin Chen and Lin Songyun nodded one after another.

”Hey, country bumpkin, you actually dared to come and take part in the New Disciple examination?”

At this moment.

A provocative voice came over.

Without looking, Qin Chen almost immediately knew who had spoken.

Qin Chen turned his head and saw Wan Yang.

Moreover.

Next to Wan Yang, there was a coquettishly beautiful woman, almost clinging to him.

”Wan Yang, is this the country bumpkin you told me about?”

Feng Lianting looked at Qin Chen with disdain.

”Yeah, this kid, dressed in such a rustic manner, I really don’t know what kind of luck he has to actually...”

Wan Yang spoke while glancing at Lin Songyun next to Qin Chen.

Obviously.

He could not understand why a woman like Lin Songyun would always be with Qin Chen.

”Feng Lianting, not seeing you for several days, what’s the matter, have you clung onto another man?”

Just then.

A cold voice came over.

Qin Chen looked over.

The speaker was a woman in a black dress, who at the moment, was sneering at Feng Lianting next to Wan Yang.

”Xiing Meng, what are you trying to say?”

Feng Lianting’s face filled with anger upon seeing the black-dressed woman, Xiing Meng.

”Hehe, what do I want to say? You seduce my man, what do you think I want to say?”

Xiing Meng sneered.

Upon hearing this, Feng Lianting’s face changed.

At the same time.

She also glanced at the man next to Xiing Meng.

Several days ago.

Upon her entry into the Blood Continent Sect, Feng Lianting sought to cling to a capable New Disciple because she knew the examination would be difficult.

She approached Bu Zheng, who was Xiing Meng’s husband.

As a result.

Xiing Meng happened to see the scene of Feng Lianting seducing Bu Zheng.

Although Bu Zheng was not moved.

Feng Lianting’s actions had completely enraged Xiing Meng.

And so, a feud was formed between Xiing Meng and Feng Lianting.

”Xiing Meng, you should know, even if you offer your man to me now, I wouldn’t want him,” Feng Lianting boasted with a smug look on her face.

”Let me introduce you, this is my new husband, Wan Yang. In addition, his brother is an elite disciple of the Blood Continent Sect,” Feng Lianting added triumphantly.

Upon hearing Feng Lianting’s words,

the eyes of the new disciples who had arrived suddenly lit up.

Many new disciples hurried over to greet Wan Yang.

Qin Chen shook his head.

Indeed.

Most people in this world were opportunistic.

As soon as they heard Wan Yang’s brother was an elite disciple, they all swarmed over.

”Are you also new disciples participating in the assessment?”

At that moment,

Xiing Meng, noticing Qin Chen and Lin Songyun standing to the side, approached them out of curiosity.

Qin Chen responded with a smile and a nod.

”I simply can’t stand that woman, Feng Lianting. I see you two are only at the Fourth Layer of Yuan Condensation, which is a bit weak, but still acceptable. How about this, we work together? What do you say?” Xiing Meng suggested as she walked over.

”Work together?” Qin Chen raised an eyebrow.

”My name is Xiing Meng,” she introduced herself.

”This is my husband, Bu Zheng. His Cultivation is at the Fifth Layer of Yuan Condensation, and he has also cleared the Sixth Level of the Puppet Tower. He’s very strong.”

Qin Chen and Lin Songyun also introduced themselves.

”How about forming a team, with my husband as the leader?” Xiing Meng proposed, nodding.

”Sure,”

Qin Chen agreed with a smile.

It seemed, after all, not to be a bad thing.

”Don’t worry, since my wife has spoken, I will definitely do my utmost to protect you all,”

”But you must also be careful on your own,” Bu Zheng added indifferently.

”Thank you,” Qin Chen said with a light smile.

”Alright, half an hour has passed, all thirty new disciples have arrived, everyone please be silent.”

At that time,

Elder Kong approached and quickly gathered everyone.

”Follow me,”

Elder Kong beckoned with a large gesture and led Qin Chen and the others into a secret chamber.

Inside the secret chamber, it was very quiet, everyone waiting for Elder Kong to speak.

”Now, I will announce to you what your target for this assessment will be,” said Elder Kong.

Everyone immediately focused intently.

”Within the Blood Continent Islands, there is a force called the Black Blood Sect; it’s a low-level force.”

”The ancestor of the Black Blood Sect has a Cultivation at the Sixth Layer of Yuan Condensation and is also the strongest in the Black Blood Sect.”

”According to our Blood Continent Sect’s investigation,”

”the Black Blood Sect secretly attacked and killed one of our Blood Continent Sect Elders, caught him unprepared, and directly slaughtered and obliterated him.”

”Therefore, your task is... to annihilate the Black Blood Sect!” Elder Kong declared powerfully.

Annihilate an entire sect?

Upon hearing this, Qin Chen was startled.

Is the assessment for new disciples always this intense?

A mission to exterminate a sect right from the start?

Compared to that, the new disciple assessment of the Thunder Sky Sect seemed like child’s play.

”But, Elder Kong, the ancestor of the Black Blood Sect has a Cultivation at the Sixth Layer of Yuan Condensation, and among us present, the strongest is only at the Fifth Layer,”

”How are we supposed to deal with the ancestor of the Black Blood Sect?”

At that moment,

a new disciple could not help but ask.

Obviously,

they were uncertain how to confront the overwhelmingly strong ancestor of the Black Blood Sect.

”As I know, the ancestor of the Black Blood Sect is not only at the Sixth Layer of Yuan Condensation but is also ranked one hundred sixty-fifth on the Blood Continent List,”

”This is no small challenge!”

At that time, Qin Chen overheard Bu Zheng muttering quietly beside him.

”The Blood Continent List, one hundred fifty-nine?”

Qin Chen’s heart gave a jolt.
