Jason got more notifications from the battle, and he quickly activated [King’s Substitute] and vanished from where he was standing. A large falcon appeared in the spot where Jason had just been, and Jason reappeared in the air in between Gina and the Radagan rogues. Gina and the Skyking had already killed three of the rogues and two dragons, and they were about to take out the others, but once Jason appeared, everyone immediately stopped! The rogues felt their eyes widen when they felt the sheer power that was flowing off Jason, and Gina told the Skyking to wait as she watched Jason stretch his hand towards the dead dragon and dragonborn!

”Resurrect.”

Doon!

Jason’s mana surged through the area like a sonic boom and the rogues could only watch with horrified looks on their faces as their allies were brought back to life! The newly resurrected dragons raised their heads up and let out a deafening roar towards the rogues, and the rogues immediately knew that they were fucked! They quickly turned their dragons around to try to retreat, but Gina quickly told the falcons and dragons to block their way as she headed back into the battle! Jason used [Necrotic Reanimation] to bring the corpses of the dead dragon and dragonrider to life, and once he was sure that they were capable of joining the battle, Jason vanished, and a large Spider Monkey appeared in Jason’s place as Jason headed for another battlefield.

Jason continued to move through all the battlefields like this. Some of the battles between the superhumans and the Radagan army were going exactly how Jason wanted them to, but there were other battles that were being lost because the superhumans didn’t have enough power to stand up to the rogues. But once Jason appeared and resurrected the dead dragons and dragonriders, the tides immediately changed back in the superhumans’ favour!

The skill [Advanced Swordsmanship] has evolved to S Rank

——

Due to a special action, the user has gained the unique skill [Dragon Taming]

——

[Dragon Taming: This skill grants the user a draconic aura that allows him to gain the trust and obedience of a dragon. Dragons only respect strength; therefore, the skill can only be used on dragons that the user is able to subdue with his natural aura.]

This skill cannot be evolved.

Jason hummed when he saw the new skill that he just gained, and he got rid of the tab with a thought. The skill would be useful if Jason ever met a stubborn dragon that he didn’t want to kill, but right now, Jason would gain more benefits from killing dragons and taking them as his subordinates. Once Jason was done with the resurrections, he could sense the entire wave of the battle shifting in favour of the superhumans. Jason had not only resurrected the souls, but he also used [Necrotic Reanimation] to make sure there were more than enough allies to support the superhumans against the rogues, and this made the superhumans outnumber the rogues by at least three to one!

[Mana: 242,023/312,256]

Jason took a look at his mana, and saw that he was still well above the halfway line, so he didn’t have to worry about running low Jason had used up a lot of mana in travelling across the different towns for the resurrections since the towns were so far away from each other, but thankfully Jason now had so much mana that the only thing that would take a lot of mana out of him might be travelling from one world to another one. Jason returned to the spot where he had been watching the fights from, and he turned his focus towards the main city of Radgan to see how Azrael was doing. Azrael was currently being surrounded by various dragons and dragonriders who wanted to break through his shield, but the massive tornado blowing around Azrael prevented them from getting close!

Then all of a sudden, Jason saw a woman coming towards Azrael from the distance with ten soldiers flying behind her. This woman looked different from all the soldiers that had been attacking Azrael so far. She had the same uniform that Jaraht had been wearing, and there was an aura of power around her that showed she was far stronger than the other soldiers! This woman had to be a general! Jason quickly ran through the memories that he got from his subordinates and he was able to tell that the name was Yusef, she was a general that used a long spear as her main weapon and according to the dragonborn, she was hailed as the fastest member of the Royal Army.

’My King, should I get serious and eliminate her?’

Azrael sent this message to Jason once he saw that someone powerful was coming. Even though Yusef was a general, she had also been affected by Azrael’s rune, and she would be weaker than normal. If Azrael got serious, then he would be able to kill her easily, but Jason told Azrael not to do anything since he already sent someone to take care of the situation! Just before the woman could reach Azrael’s position, Jaraht and his dragon rose from the shadows and blocked her path. The woman stopped in her tracks once she saw who it was, and she spoke up in shock.

”Jaraht! Jaraht, what happened to you!?”

Yusef was surprised when she noticed how different Jaraht looked. There was a purple light surrounding Jaraht’s body, and he was looking up at her with an intensity that he would normally only show towards his enemies! Yusef’s dragon released a loud roar towards Jaraht’s dragon once it noticed that the dragon was no longer its ally and Yusef narrowed her eyes as she drew her spear to prepare for a fight! Yusef still cared about Jaraht since they had once been a part of the same team, but it was obvious that someone had done something to Jaraht. This was no longer the person that she knew! Yusef flew down as she charged at Jaraht and Jaraht urged his dragon forward in a counterattack!

....

[The Royal Palace]

The Royal Palace was abuzz with activity as various people moved around to prepare for battle! The soldiers were gathering their armor and weapons and there were some other soldiers moving quickly to try and give the dragons enough food so that they would have more energy for the upcoming fight! Normally, it is the servants that would be in charge of feeding the dragons, but currently all the servants in the castle – as well as everyone that was below A Rank in strength – had been thrown into unconsciousness by Azrael’s rune! Everyone had felt the intense surge of energy that spread across the city when Azrael activated his Rune technique, and they had also felt the way their power had been drastically reduced by the rune! But what really shocked them was seeing all the servants and children falling to the ground like ragdolls!

The dragonborn first thought that the servants and children had all died from the attack, but a doctor announced that they weren’t dead yet and they could still be revived, so the army was currently getting ready to move out and apprehend the person who had caused this!
