Strongest Mage with the Lust system

Chapter 1017: Traceless

Max and Zhao Ziyan, both filled with passion for each other, didn’t sleep until late in the morning.

Despite this, Max woke up before the sunrise, having slept barely for an hour.

He entered the washroom, freshened up and bathed. Because his clothes were already ruined and there weren’t any in his mother’s room, he simply wrapped a towel around his lower body and walked out of the washroom and sat on the bed.

“System, show me my status screen.” He murmured under his breath.

[Name: Gu Chen (Maxwell Garfield)]

[Age: 19]

[Cultivation: Bone Tempering, 2nd Layer] (+)

[Bloodline: Lust Overlord Bloodline (Second Lock Opened)]

[Skills: Basic Martial Arts]

[Harem: 0]

[Lust Points: 2,00,000→1 Million]

…

He couldn’t help but nod in satisfaction when he saw his Lust Points. With this many points, he could easily reach the 4th Layer of Bone Tempering. At that time, even if Liu Bashan, Song Heiran and Nie Zhulong, the patriarch of three families joined forces, they still wouldn’t be his match.

He didn’t hurry to increase his cultivation, though. Instead, he summoned the Quest screen.

[Quest: Punish the trio.]

[Reward: Based on the severity of punishment.]

[Note: Killing or permanent crippling would result in Quest failure.]

[Quest Status: Completed!]

“Where’s my reward. system?” Max asked and immediately a system screen unfolded before him.

[Congratulations for successfully completing the quest!]

[Reward generating…!]

[You have received one instance of System’s help.]

…

[Host, you can only use this reward to extract the technique from your soul as discussed earlier.] The system prompted immediately after the reward was granted.

“Yes, I know. Don’t worry about it.” Max nodded, then said, “Alright, let’s not waste any time and extract the technique. I have a feeling that it’s best I cultivate it as soon as possible.”

[You want to utilize the One Instance of System’s help to extract the technique from your soul? (Yes)/(No)] The system immediately flashed him with the prompt, as if also wanting to have him use up the reward as soon as possible.

Max inwardly shook his head. Did it not believe him at all?

‘Yes’ he clicked and braced for the pain. But to his relief, it never came. Instead, a progress bar appeared before him.

[Extracting the technique… 1%… 2%… 3%…]

‘Hmm, it’s taking time?’ He thought in surprise. He knew the system was incredibly powerful and thus had believed it wouldn’t take more than a moment for it to extract the technique, especially because it also resided in his soul.

‘It seems that person is really powerful…’ His eyes flickered with thought.

Seconds passed… Right when one minute was about to be up, the progress bar finally reached 100% and he realized he had a technique in his mind.

[Traceless]

This was the name of the technique, simple but it perfectly conveyed what it could do—it could make the user completely traceless from Spirit Sense, Soul Sense, Aura detection, Physical Senses and even the more esoteric things such as Karma and Destiny.

Hu!

Max sucked in a cold breath. This technique… it was simply heaven defying.

As an avid reader of fiction novels, he had an idea what kind of forces Karma and Destiny could be. Thus, he also knew it was impossible to hide from them, unless you were a god or some similar entity.

‘Don’t tell me that person is such an existence?’ He thought, his mind whirling with all kinds of thoughts.

Right then, a blinding light flashed in his eyes, interrupting his thought process. When he was finally able to see again, he saw a simple system screen in front of him.

[Host, some things are too far apart from you and you shouldn’t contemplate them. The system can’t save you every time.]

Reading this, Max frowned. What was the big deal? Wasn’t he just thinking—

Suddenly his pupils constricted when he realized he was bleeding from his seven orifices.

‘What the fuck!’ He shouted in his mind, incredulous. Then he asked, “I used to think all kinds of things, including what I was thinking just now, when I hadn’t even become a mage. Nothing happened at that time. Why did it affect me this time?”

[Mortals are protected.] came the system’s simple answer.

Max went to the washroom again and cleaned the blood from his eyes, nose, ears and mouth, his heart trembling with lingering fear.

He sat cross-legged, closed his eyes and began to meditate.

A long while later, he finally calmed down and trained his mind to not think about what he shouldn’t think about.

Right then, a system screen flashed before his eyes.

[A new quest has been issued!]

[Quest: Protect the Gu Family from incoming trouble.]

[Reward: One Instance of Heightened Comprehension.]

[Note: The host should have 1 Million Lust Points to use this reward.]

A small smile appeared on Max’s face when he saw this.

“Thanks system.” He muttered, feeling grateful.

The [Traceless] technique was complex to the point that it was completely incomprehensible to him. The only reason he knew he could make him undetectable or that it was divided into multiple levels was because of the introductory information he received.

Seeing the information, he knew it would be extremely difficult for him to comprehend even its first level. So the system’s reward of Heightened Comprehension came at the right time. Seeing it needed 1 Million Lust Points, it would surely increase his comprehension significantly, then it might be possible for him to comprehend it… right?

Shaking his head, he tapped the (+) symbol behind his cultivation section and chose to increase his cultivation.

…

Bang! Crash! Thud!

“Wahh!” “Arghhhh!”

…

A commotion from outside woke Zhao Ziyan up.

“Hm?” For a moment, she frowned in confusion, but then her heart sank and a realization dawned on her.

She hurriedly sat up and looked beside her. When she didn’t see her son, she became anxious.

Swoosh!

Hurriedly jumping down the bed, she was about to rush out of the room when she realized she was naked and covered in the proofs of her lovemaking with her son.

“Damn it!” She cursed.

…

…

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
