Stealing Spree

Chapter 2697: Namedropped

”What is it, Watanabe? Do you want to be pampered too?” I teasingly asked, keeping Komoe pressed against me as I glanced over my shoulder.

Watanabe’s nose flared up while her cheeks became flushed scarlet. Her eyes darted anywhere but at us. ”D-don’t be ridiculous! I’m just--”

Her protest died as Komoe giggled softly, ”Tomiko-san, are you not used to Ruki yet? He likes teasing you because of how you react.”

Watanabe frowned and looked like she was about to storm off. However, one look at us and her usual antics of pulling out her small notebook to scribble something in it took over again. As always, she’s just too interested in how I was interacting with my girls.

”Really, Watanabe? Shouldn’t you be turning around or leaving the room? Do you really want to watch me pampering Komoe?”

”... Shut up. I... I’m taking notes. For research.” Watanabe’s voice trembled as she scribbled furiously.

For research, she says. I shook my head and chuckled, not bothering to discourage her peculiar habits. Instead, I focused on Komoe, tilting her chin up. Her eyes softened instantly, trusting and warm.

I brushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear, followed by gently caressing her cheek using my thumb.

The girl closed her eyes and slightly parted her lips, anticipating a kiss.

Watanabe, who remained a distance away, shifted uncomfortably. But then, her eyes lit up as though an idea came to her.

Following that, she kneeled on a single sofa cushion and ducked her body using the backrest as a shield.

I couldn’t help but shake my head again. I met her gaze and she immediately glared at me as though saying, ”Pretend I’m not here!”

Well, what can I do? I don’t mind her watching and Komoe seems to enjoy the audience too. So I leaned down and captured Komoe’s lips with mine. She melted instantly, her fingers curling into my shirt as I deepened the kiss slowly, tasting the faint sweetness of tea on her tongue.

At the same time, I gently caressed her head, her back and eventually held her tightly, locking her body against mine. Komoe responded passionately, her soft moans muffled against my lips as her fingers tangled in my hair.

”I love this, Ruki... I think I can do my best today...”

”You think? You always do your best. I know that much. That’s why pampering you like this is just in order, no?”

”Un... But I want more, Ruki... Just like... last time.”

As she said that, she put a finger on her lip, sucking it lightly as though she was mimicking what she did ’last time’.

”You naughty girl. We can’t show that Watanabe, can we?”

”Then... I can hide under that.” She pointed at my table, cheeks flushed with mischief. ”Just like what Sister Shizu did before.

This girl... What is she picking up? But then again, it was my fault for letting Shizu do that when they were with us in the room back then.

Furthermore, I could feel heat pooling down my cock again. What she said was too tempting for a pervert like me.

I grabbed her hand, pulling her finger out of her mouth with a wet pop before bringing it to my lips. Komoe trembled, her breath hitching as I kissed each fingertip slowly, deliberately. Her eyes seemingly turned heart-shaped as a mix of innocence and desire flashed within.

Meanwhile, Watanabe’s pen scratched frantically against paper as if she were also getting affected by our intimacy. Her breathing became shallow and irregular.

I sucked Komoe’s finger into my mouth, swirling my tongue around the tip until she whimpered. Just from that stimulation, the girl’s body almost collapsed against me. Her eyes were glazed over, cheeks flushed crimson.

”T-that’s too much, Ruki... It’s just a finger but I can feel it all over my body. Like... like electricity...” Komoe gasped, her knees buckling as I released her finger with a final flick of my tongue.

”Mhm. That’s also what I feel when you do something intimate with me. I was tempted by what you said but Shizu and the others are waiting for us. I’ll pamper you more later, alright? When we get the chance.” I patted her head and kissed her forehead softly.

Komoe pouted but nodded reluctantly.

”So, Watanabe, are you done with your ’research’?” I asked, turning toward her hiding spot and walking over. Komoe trailed behind me, still clutching my arm.

Watanabe perked up from behind the sofa before faking a cough. ”Ahem. Yes. It’s quite... enlightening.”

She stood quickly, smoothing her skirt and avoiding eye contact. If her boyfriend saw her like this, I wonder what he would think? That I corrupted her as well?

Well, that’s not my problem anymore. Besides, the girl knew to keep things she had seen to herself. Masato-senpai wouldn’t hear anything from her unless he asked directly. Even then, Watanabe would probably twist the details to make it sound less... intimate.

After I looked at the files piled up on top of my table, I followed the two girls out of the office.

”So, how’s it looking? Given that you also came to get me, was the situation manageable?” I asked Watanabe as we climbed down the stairs toward the makeshift conference room.

”You know them, Onoda-kun. President alone can make the Club Presidents fold. If you add Haruko-senpai and also... Minami-senpai, the three of them can handle every problem they may face.” Watanabe replied as we descended the stairs. Her tone carried a hint of admiration mixed with resignation. ”But... there’s always that one.”

Komoe giggled softly beside me. ”She means the Archery Club President. He’s been arguing about the budget allocation for new targets.”

”New targets? What are they even planning for the Cultural Festival? A live archery demonstration?”

”I heard their booth will be competing with their members. If the visitor wins after paying the fee, they’ll get the chance to take a photo with the Archery Club President.”

”Is their president that popular?”

I tilted my head since I hadn’t heard about that Archery Club President being popular. Watanabe shrugged as we reached the bottom step. ”Apparently, she modeled for a sports magazine last summer. Now she’s leveraging it. She thinks herself a celebrity now.”

”Ah. Typical of someone who lets something as minor as that get to their head.” I shook my head.

Although I probably ran into that club president already, she had never entered my radar. Or rather, I didn’t find anything special about her. But if she’s determined to make things difficult for my Shizu and Haruko, I guess I should help them deal with her, right?

As we reached the makeshift conference room, the line of the club presidents waiting for their turn had already dwindled. Through the slightly ajar door, I caught Shizu’s stern voice cutting through the air like a blade. ”Absolutely not. The budget allocation remains as decided. Your personal popularity doesn’t justify special treatment. You can, however, ask your club members to pitch in.”

”That’s unfair!” A sharp voice protested, unmistakably the Archery Club President. ”Our booth will draw crowds! Why should we fund it ourselves? Besides, why is it only classes that get that additional funding from participating in that workshop? Shouldn’t our clubs be included too?”

”That, huh? You should ask the School Director. Not me. If there’s nothing else--”

”No! This isn’t over yet! I... I’ll take this to Onoda-kun! He’ll understand!” The Archery Club President’s voice cracked with desperation as she slammed her hands on the table.𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

What the heck? Why is my name dropped there?

Before I could wrap my head around it, Minami Shouko slid the door open from inside and met my gaze with a smirk. Naturally, Shizu, Haruko and the Archery Club President also noticed me standing there as their eyes focused on me.

Shizu raised her brows as though asking me to explain why my name was used by the club president. Haruko also looked amused but she didn’t have any plan on intervening on my behalf. And lastly, the Archery Club President looked surprised as if she was caught slipping her hand in the cookie jar.

I see... I guess my reputation has reached her and she thought she could use that to change Shizu’s mind.

What should I do in this situation? Should I help speak up for her or not? Either way, I was already dragged into this.
