Chapter 2565: Butler Cosplay?

As I stumbled out of their room, my legs wobbled slightly as I was still affected by that… wonderful sensation.

Miwa-neeʼs teasing smirk burned into my mind. She really got me there, no? Punishing me, then kicking me out right away. Canʼt I extend that punishment by pleasuring her too?

Well, it doesnʼt matter. I can sneak in later or catch her downstairs early in the morning.

Downstairs, the girls were waiting for my return. I couldnʼt exactly waltz in looking like Iʼd just been through a private hurricane, no matter how shameless I was.

I first went to our room to change into more comfortable clothes. A pair of a shirt and shorts. If itʼs my girls, theyʼd probably tell me to go topless just so they could feast on my body. And given that Ririka and Yae were here… Are we going to get another cosplay photoshoot?

The number of followers of that account has already reached twenty thousand. It has already spread nationwide. There are even foreigners commenting and sharing my cosplay photos.

If we drop another cosplay, something as cool and magical as the last time, I might be headhunted. Or maybe not? Only those who know me on a personal level can probably see the resemblance, like my girls. Even my classmates donʼt know or Shimura and Misumi have yet to stumble upon it.

Mei-chan was special though. That girl had a keen eye for it, so she immediately noticed.

As I continued, the staircase creaked under my steps. I adjusted my shirt again and hoped my face had already cooled down.

Upon reaching the last step, I glanced at the living room. It was, expectedly, a cozy chaos.

Ririka was sprawled on the couch, her orange soda half-empty, scrolling through her phone with a grin with a bag seated next to her.

Yep. Thatʼs a bag of costumes.

Yae was perched on the armrest, sipping her iced coffee and humming some catchy pop tune.

Fuyu was still in the kitchen, stacking the last of the dishes by the sink, her cheeks faintly pink from our earlier exchange.

As for Akane, she was curled up on our long sofa, a blanket draped over her lap.

I first went to the bathroom, dropping my uniform into the laundry basket before returning.

And as I stepped into the living room, my silly wife was the first to spot me. Her eyes narrowed playfully as I approached her.

”Husband, you took your sweet time up there. Did Miwa-nee give you a proper scolding?”

With an impish smile filled with mischief, the way she emphasized ”proper” told me she knew exactly what had gone down.

”Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, wife. Miwa-neeʼs just making sure I stay in line. You should try it sometime.”

I shot her a glare as I reached for her cheeks, mushing them within my palm before dropping onto the couch beside Ririka, whose attention immediately shifted to me.

Akane gasped, clutching her chest dramatically. ”Me? Iʼm your perfect wife, husband! I donʼt need to scold you. I just have to gently guide you back to my arms.”

She fluttered her eyelashes, and Ririka snorted before hugging my arm.

”Gently guide? Akane, we can do that too! Am I right, Ruki?” Ririka looked up at me with her side ponytail bouncing excitedly.𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

”Mhm. You can. But Ririka, your methods are different.”

I remembered the time when I was avoiding her at that maid cafe. She would try to get me the plate of omurice and serve me. However, I turned her down and told her I should get it from the other maid who went to my table. Then, when I started coming there for her. Sheʼd always pout whenever she served me the plate, reminding me of how unfaithful I was, even though she called me ʼmasterʼ as per the rule of that maid cafe.

Mhm. That was quite a fond memory.

”Oh! Youʼre grinning! What are you thinking about?” Ririka pointed at my face, catching my thoughts wandering somewhere.

”Well, I remembered the pouty maid who, despite being happy that I started choosing her again, continued scolding me for being unfaithful.”

As if a core memory had been unlocked, Ririkaʼs face turned from pink to crimson red before she eventually buried her face in my chest, murmuring softly, ”T-that was because of you, Ruki.”

”I know. Itʼs my fault for avoiding you, right?”

”Ugh… That wonʼt happen again! Should I wear another maid outfit? Oh, right! Good timing. Youʼre gonna dress as a butler tonight. Do you know that anime? The one with the demon butler. I think you fit him.

She then paused for a moment before her eyes lit up like a festival sparkler, her side ponytail vibrating with too much excitement as she tugged at my arm.

”Ruki, youʼd be perfect as that demon butler! The charm, the sly grin, the way you always seem to know what everyone needs. Come on, itʼs basically you already!”

I raised an eyebrow and pretended not to be interested as Akane and Yae giggled, clearly enjoying Ririkaʼs enthusiasm. ”A butler and a demon, huh? So you want me serving you tea and calling you ʼmy ladyʼ all night while scaring you too? I donʼt know, Ririka, sounds like a lot of work for a guy who just got home.”

She puffed out her cheeks, crossing her arms in indignation. ”Not that kind of demon! Uhh… Youʼd love it. Besides, you cannot turn back now unless you want to be the maid!”

She gestured to the bag by her side, which was bulging with what I could only assume was an arsenal of cosplay gear.

”Iʼve been planning this since last week. Yaeʼs in on it too, arenʼt you, Yae?”

Yae smirked and gave a lazy wave. ”Yes, sweetie. We watched it together, you know. And the moment we see that butler. A lightbulb lit up on our heads. And so, we started working on it. Besides, I told her youʼd probably go along with it if we bribed you with some extra attention. Maybe a few kisses and more?”

Ending that with a wink, my lovely Yae grinned beautifully. It felt like her troubles at home had vanished. I guess she needed this, too.

Well then. Butler it is.

Fuyu, whoʼd just finished drying her hands and joined us in the living room, tilted her head curiously. ”A butler costume? For… Ruki?”

Her voice was soft, but there was a spark of interest in her eyes, like she was already picturing it. ”I think… it would suit you. Youʼre always taking care of everyone.”

I chuckled, reaching over to ruffle Fuyuʼs hair, earning a small, shy smile from her. ”You want to see it too? Guess Iʼm cornered now. But Fuyu, you still have to go home, right? I have to escort you too.”

”Eh… Iʼll call home. Tell them Iʼll be late. Mom will understand, especially if youʼre going to escort me.” Fuyu declared. She even paused for a moment there and I thought sheʼd tell me she was also going to stay the night. Itʼs not like itʼs the first time anyway.

”Alright. Iʼll humor you. But only if I get to pick something for you all to wear too. Fairʼs fair. You may not want to post it but Iʼll be collecting those photos for my collection.”

Ririka clapped her hands as if she had already prepared for it. ”Deal! Oh, this is gonna be so fun! Akane, youʼre joining, right? We can make it a whole theme night!”

Akane, still curled up under her blanket, grinned like a cat whoʼd just spotted a canary. ”Oh, Iʼm in, Ririka-chan. But if Husbandʼs a butler, Iʼm claiming the role of the spoiled princess. You know, the one who gets all his attention.”

That silly girl. She wanted the easy role, right?

I scoffed and pulled her to me, ”Spoiled princess, huh? Thatʼs not much of a stretch for you, wife. But alright, letʼs see what Ririkaʼs got in that bag of hers.”

Ririka was already halfway to unzipping the bag, her excitement contagious. She pulled out a sleek black tailcoat, a crisp white shirt, and a deep red vest, holding them up like they were sacred artifacts. ”Ta-da! The demon butler look, complete with gloves and a pocket watch! I even got a tie that matches the one from the anime. Ruki, youʼre gonna look so cool!”

There she goes… her costume-making skill is truly impeccable. Itʼs almost like it was taken from that anime itself.
