Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 882: Chapter 50: The Secret of the Electronic Brain

In the entire cosmos, over 50% of the area is filled with dark matter. This dark matter does not belong to known particles; it is formless and shapeless, extremely difficult to manipulate, and many even violate the laws of physics.

Moreover, there are more than one type of dark matter.

According to the ”Observed Universe Dark Matter Detection Report” released by advanced civilizations, there are already more than 8,000 types of parsed dark matter, each with completely different traits. Especially the top 100 dark matter in the sequence ranking are called super dark matter. Mastering any kind of super dark matter could allow the construction of an Energy Realm, achieving energy ascension.

Dark Matter Storm No. 813 is an ascension skill developed according to the properties of Dark Matter No. 813.

Dark Matter Storm No. 813 (Tier 4): According to the properties of Matter No. 813, it has a strong repulsive effect on all energy particles, data signals, and life signals. In the cosmic abyss known as the ”graveyard of civilizations,” Dark Matter No. 813 is pervasive. It is said that in the abyss, no life can set foot and no signal can be transmitted out. Until now, no civilization has been able to explore it. The dark matter storm is a skill developed by a civilization (Level 7) based on this dark matter’s properties.

Mode One: All skills, evolution modes, and material states below Tier 4 (including Tier 4) can be interrupted by the dark matter storm.

Mode Two: Skill states above Tier 4, under long-term storm impact (impact time doubles with each level of civilization), will also be overwhelmed by the dark matter storm. Note: No higher than Tier 6

Skill Usage Condition: Consciousness exceeds 2500 points

Thank God! This flawed attribute finally came in handy!

Like advanced equipment, the use of advanced skills also has prerequisites.

Gao Gong’s current consciousness is 2739 points. Frankly speaking, reaching this number is not easier than having blood volume over a billion.

Only a dual-system system transformation can achieve this.

The virtual satellite thrown by General Cybertron is undoubtedly a big move; this move can crash the database of a super corporation, crushing the corporate will to death. However, dark matter itself is an unreasonable existence; its regularity is even stronger than physical laws.

Under the impact of the dark matter storm, this virtual satellite collapsed on the spot.

And this, too, was General Cybertron’s last blow. Attacked from front and back by Cyber Tide, War, and Gao, this defensive planet host finally could not hold on.

In the next moment, one mechanical giant sword after another fell from the sky, pinning it to the surface of the satellite.

The mechanical giant sword, transformed from virtual data, could not be more real. And under the sword, General Cybertron’s previously real shell dissolved bit by bit.

”The grudge of nine lives, avenged today, hahahahahaha!!”

”War” let out a hysterical laugh.

Gao Gong didn’t respond, a flash of purple light, and he appeared on Cybertron’s Earth Core ’Planet Host’.

This planet host had already stopped operating; most of the spark modules had been extinguished.

This state is ’system crash’.

Gao Gong first grabbed with his hand, countless light shadows were sucked into his hand, the 6.0 version ’Biological Computer’’s virtual space was filled.

[You have obtained the planet-level firewall ’War Shadow’]

”Only one more to go.”

’War Shadow’, ’Colorless Fire’ have been obtained, only the deep net firewall, ’Wall of Code’, is left.

Gao Gong opened his hand again, pressing on the planet host, the formerly extinguished spark began to brighten slightly.

And in Gao Gong’s eyes, countless advanced codes flashed.

But after a moment, Gao Gong frowned.

’It’s a bit tricky.’

If it’s a planet computer on the virtual side, restarting the system belongs to Gao Gong’s area of expertise.

But according to Gao Gong’s recent examination, he found that ’Cybertron’ is neither a virtual side computer nor belonging to hardware computers. Strictly speaking, it belongs to a half-energy, half-mechanical, dual-attribute planet computer, where the energy attribute is even higher than the mechanical attribute.

Using this type of planet computer to guard Cybertron is likely to control the ’black hole weapon’.

”It’s a bit tricky.”

In Gao Gong’s plans, the three planet firewalls and three planet hosts are essential, but a computer with a system crash is not completely out of his means, but the time consumption is too long, and he worries that Mechanical Split Star might get into trouble.

”What if I replace it?”

Gao Gong didn’t need to turn around to know it was War speaking.

Yet, this statement still surprised him somewhat.

”You want to restart Cybertron?”

Gao Gong turned his head, once more assessing this domineering old man. If he remembered correctly, he told the other party that the three planet hosts would, at the cost of the computing system’s explosion, hasten the maturation of Bionic A.

The other party is courting death?

Faced with Gao Gong’s doubt, War said solemnly:

”I have always clearly distinguished between gratitude and grudges. The empire’s destruction, the mechanical war destroyed everything I had, and at the most despairing juncture, I comprehended the true meaning of war, reborn from destructive power. Apart from the imperial computer, I ranked second. Now, with Cyber Tide rampant, the ’box’ will soon be destroyed by it. How can I stand by and do nothing?”

Gao Gong looked at the other party in surprise, after a long pause, finally said: ”Then I leave Cybertron to you.”

”Find No. 1 as soon as possible. I’m worried Cyber Tide will target it.”

”... Understood.”

After speaking, War slowly walked into the Planet Host, and in the next moment, all the extinguished Sparks radiated with an unprecedented brilliance.

The plot got altered again; in the previous life, War was the guide of the ’Ancient Biological War’ and the will of the Cyber Tide. In this life, perhaps revenge was too smooth, and this entity seemed to have turned a new leaf.

”Interesting.”

Gao Gong closed his eyes, his figure transformed into a Blood Shadow, gradually fading away from reality.

When he reappeared, he was already at the Other Shore of Freedom, regarding reality as nothing, stepping into another Planet Computer.

...

Another individual also regarded reality as nothing.

This person started from Nightless City, tracing back Gao Gong’s memories step by step, finally reaching the bottom layer of the 13-Layered Space, which stored all Virtual Personalities in the virtual society.

The Black Shadow sniffed again, and in the next moment, all pedestrians on the street stopped, and virtual worms emerged from each Virtual Personality, crawling into the Black Shadow’s body.

The Black Shadow’s form writhed continuously, hair elongated, skin turned pale, features became delicate and lovely, and the shadow transformed into a black dress.

The Black Shadow became Gao Yuanyuan.

However, unlike Gao Yuanyuan, her eyes were empty, as pale as Zhenzi’s.

If Gao Gong had not changed Gao Yuanyuan’s fate, the current Gao Yuanyuan would likely appear like this.

The appearance of this ’Gao Yuanyuan’ undoubtedly attracted the attention of the upper layers.

Very soon, dark clouds rolled across the sky, and in the lightning that lit up like daylight, figures appeared out of thin air, looking humanoid but with surfaces composed of neural currents.

Tier 2 Information Species - Neural Flow Soldier

This ’Gao Yuanyuan’ cast an empty glance around, and her figure suddenly vanished.

When she reappeared, all the Neural Flow Soldiers had fallen to the ground, each with a large hole in the back of their heads, from which neural currents flickered.

’Gao Yuanyuan’ chewed on something unknown in her mouth, then slowly raised her head and gently grasped with her hand. In the next moment, an electronic screen was torn apart.

From the shattered screen, a hand emerged, then an arm, dark hair, and empty eyes. This ’Gao Yuanyuan’ crawled into the layer above bit by bit.

However, in the monitoring room of the previous layer, there wasn’t a single person in sight, as if evacuated in advance.

’Gao Yuanyuan’ didn’t care either. Without moving her body, countless Memory Worms secreted from her and began to devour everything around, quickly finishing the feast.

This ’Gao Yuanyuan’ quickly broke through this layer, reaching the data layer, which corresponds to the Sea of Data in Cyber Space.

In this space, lightning-like neural circuits appeared, seemingly sealed in place, thick neural currents suspended in mid-air, each current glimmering faintly, creating a spectacle like fire trees and silver flowers.

However, each ’Neural Circuit’ dimmed as ’Gao Yuanyuan’ passed, and the maze gates that should have been open instantly decayed.

Unknown how much time passed, ’Gao Yuanyuan’ finally reached the end of this layer and saw a Planet Host.

She pushed the door open, and radiance enveloped her entire body.

Bottom layer of the 13-Layered Space—

The Black Shadow sniffed again, and in the next moment, all pedestrians on the street stopped, and virtual worms emerged from each Virtual Personality, crawling into the Black Shadow’s body.

The Black Shadow’s form writhed, grew features and long hair, transforming into Gao Yuanyuan.

The Black Shadow once again broke through the space to reach the upper layer.

...

At the core of the Virtual Space, at the center of the maze, the real Gao Yuanyuan, sweat beads continuously dripping from her small face, faced another ’Gao Yuanyuan’ who was in a state of slumber, her eyelids twitching incessantly as if on the verge of waking.

Around the two Gao Yuanyuans, numerous Memory Worms wandered aimlessly.

The Rewind System on Gao Yuanyuan’s body lit up continuously; each time it lit up, ’Gao Yuanyuan’ would return to the cycle once more.

However, Gao Yuanyuan had a premonition that this delay couldn’t last much longer.

...

Simultaneously, elsewhere, the eighth Destruction Form, the controller of Destructive Intelligence, Ymir, appeared outside a tomb.

It was an ’Electronic Brain Tomb.’

Anyone entering the tomb would go through three stages.

In the first stage, all prosthetics, biotypes, and mechanical bodies would malfunction.

The second stage is virtual extinction (social death), where all online aspects disappear, indirectly leading to the disappearance of real-world connections, the erasure of memories among friends and family, the deletion of various records, the removal of power in Mechanical City, and the erasure of personal memories, eventually resulting in self-deletion, achieving ’death formatting.’

The third stage—Information Tomb, death is not the end but a cocoon. This information cocoon serves as a carrier for Memory Worms until it blooms into a new ’Butterfly.’
