Seizing the BOSS Template at the Start

But if that’s the case, the materials of the Gold-devouring Insect simply can’t withstand such extreme power and would naturally disintegrate during acceleration.

Sessis stood in the sky ten thousand meters high.

The scythe in his hands continued to grow larger, forming a stark contrast with his frail figure, and the sky shifted from dark red to black.

Sessis held the scythe vertically in front of him with both hands and slowly raised it. A sharp, extreme aura continuously spread out, and slight black lines began to appear in the air, like countless eyes opening and closing.

He looked down silently at these mortals, his calm voice resonating throughout the ruins.

”Have you ever seen a true God?”

Charles, who was chasing closely behind, abruptly stopped. He immediately retreated rapidly and dashed into the distance without any hesitation.

Baiyi put away the remaining Gold-devouring Insects and madly rushed outward.

”Damn! Going all out! Ahhh... wait for me....”

Pu Sheng’s somewhat frantic voice echoed as he turned into a beam of light, running slightly slower, but at least his screams were genuinely panicked.

The three cooperatively ran in three directions, ensuring at least not all of them would be annihilated.

Up in the sky, the arms of the three Magnetic Mechanisms went in the opposite direction, emitting a clanging metallic sound at their ends. In an instant, they reached extreme speed, carrying activated missiles toward Sessis.

Sessis locked his gaze on Baiyi after watching the three’s retreating figures. He wielded the gigantic scythe, which had expanded to several dozen meters, and swung it down fiercely.

A massive black crescent-shaped blade, spanning several hundred meters, slowly descended. Tiny stars twinkled beside the black moon.

It looked incredibly spectacular.

Pssssh~

A subtle sound emerged, and a long tail appeared behind the black crescent, as if the space was being torn apart.

Within that tail, a faint, aimless gray figure could be seen wandering.

That was S-002 roaming Sunset City.

Boom!

Intense flames erupted in the sky. The fire element missile self-detonated before even approaching. The Legendary energy blast couldn’t stop the descent of the black crescent; the flames were forcefully swallowed.

Boom, boom...

Two consecutive explosions followed, as ice and lightning interweaved, blossoming into an incredibly splendid firework in the sky.

The enormous power capable of wiping out a city lost its color under the black crescent moon.

The shockwaves managed to hurl the God away but couldn’t stop the crescent’s advance, only reducing the several hundred-meter crescent to several dozen meters.

Baiyi felt a deadly sense of crisis, and somehow, the black moon had already reached his back.

On his person, even before the crescent touched him, his Spiritual Defense had already collapsed.

He couldn’t withstand this blow!

He stopped running and turned around, the terrifying power within his body frantically accumulating. From the Space Ring, a half-person high golden sphere appeared.

This was the Sun Salutation.

[Name: Sun Salutation.

Attribute: Explosives.

Effect: Explosives made with solar energy, providing significant suppressive bonuses against undead, filth, aberrations, and dark creatures. The more solar energy added, the greater the power and size of the Sun Salutation.

Current Power: 120%

Introduction: Please praise the Sun to your heart’s content. All darkness will dissipate when the sun comes out, won’t it?

Price: 8000 Gold Coins.]

This was a Sun Salutation made with two months of solar energy, which was already its limit. Naturally collected solar energy cannot be infinitely stacked; with current materials, two months of solar energy could at most blow up a Silver Upper Tier.

Even with a Solar Energy Compression Device, it could only at most blow up a Golden Lower Tier.

Baiyi took out this moderately powerful explosive at this critical moment because of the powerful suppressive effect solar energy has when it encounters other energies.

How could the sun, which brings light to the world, be suppressed by darkness?

As the black crescent descended with the stars, Baiyi detonated the Sun Salutation without hesitation.

Dong~

It was like the toll of a monastery bell, as if the space had been struck heavily, and golden radiance began to bloom.

The incredibly scorching aura instantly pushed Baiyi into the distance. The crescent that even intercontinental missiles couldn’t stop was obstructed by a small sun.

The golden flames spun continuously, attempting to expand, but were obstructed by the black crescent.

The solar energy seemed provoked, furiously surging into the black crescent.

Both sides’ sizes were continuously shrinking, with energy rapidly clashing.

Clang, clang, clang....

The metallic rhythm echoed once more, like a death knell tearing through the sun’s barrier, viciously striking the black crescent.

Crack~

The black crescent shattered at that moment, disintegrating into starry glimmers that dissipated. The glimmers landed on the ground, corroding it into variously sized pits.

Baiyi stood up somewhat disheveled, the Apocalypse Curtain equipment long since damaged. The solar energy seemed to be the final straw that broke the camel’s back, turning the trench coat into history.

Baiyi’s upper body was now bare, with only enough left on the lower body to barely maintain modesty.

The Hive, Demon Hunting Revolver, and a Potion Box that were with this equipment fell out.

They had not been destroyed.

Baiyi stood up, took the only two Life Recovery Potions from the Potion Box, drank them, and then stored all three pieces of equipment into the Space Ring.
