Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

”Among all mankind, it is a blessing for humanity to have someone like you appear,”

Surya sighed softly, his tone carrying both admiration and melancholy. Then, looking straight at Fenric, he continued,

”Perhaps... you should wait. Accumulate your strength for a while longer—then challenge me. I can wait.”

Fenric understood what Surya meant. A faint smile curved his lips as he waved his hand dismissively.

”No. What I cultivate is the heart—an invincible heart. If I hesitate now, if I retreat even once, a heart demon will take root, and everything I’ve worked for will crumble. Besides... I’m ready.”

Hearing that, Surya stopped trying to dissuade him. He nodded solemnly, his expression firm.

”Very well. Then come. I will fight you with everything I have.”

Fenric’s eyes glinted as he replied calmly,

”I’ve also been curious... about the strength of a half-step Martial God.”

Their brief exchange left the audience utterly confused—only Fenric and Surya truly understood the weight behind their words.

When Surya said, ”It’s a blessing for mankind to have someone like you,” it wasn’t empty praise.

It was the conflicted voice of a man who still carried a trace of conscience. Deep down, Surya believed that Fenric might one day become humanity’s savior—the one capable of halting the descent of the Cthulhu he himself had served.

By urging Fenric to wait, Surya was, in his own way, trying to buy the young man time—to grow, to become strong enough to stop him when the moment came.

For even now, as he stood at the pinnacle of strength, Surya’s heart was split in two.

One part of him still longed to see humanity survive.

The other part craved the ultimate power that could obliterate it.

He was both protector and destroyer.

And now, their clash would decide which side of him would prevail.

...

”...”

”...”

The air around the arena seemed to still.

Fenric stood quietly, facing Surya—who, in the blink of an eye, had merged with the very world around him.

Though the man stood just a few meters away, Fenric could barely sense his presence. It was as though Surya had become one with the air, the earth, and the sky.

So this... is his power.

Even knowing the ”story,” even knowing how powerful Surya truly was, Fenric couldn’t help feeling awe.

In the original timeline, even though the evil god Cthulhu was the final boss, Surya had been the true opponent—the greatest wall the protagonist had to overcome.

If Surya fought seriously, the heavens themselves would tremble.

And that was exactly why Fenric would show no restraint.

SWOSH!

The next instant, the atmosphere exploded.

A dark aura erupted from Fenric’s body, swirling like black mist around him.

It spread rapidly, thick and suffocating, distorting the very air.

Moments later, flames burst forth—dark crimson and laced with eerie shadows—forming a roaring sea of fire nearly twenty meters wide.

Even the air itself began to burn.

The flames of hell...

Within that inferno, the metal guardrails around the stage disintegrated into ash.

The reinforced steel floor beneath his feet began to melt.

The audience—both live and around the world—watched in utter silence, eyes wide, unable to comprehend the power before them.

Then, from within the flames, a dragon-shaped armor materialized, forged from pure fire and shadow. It clung to Fenric’s body, piece by piece, until he stood completely encased—an armored war god, black and crimson, his aura shaking the heavens.

He looked less like a man and more like a general who had climbed out of the underworld itself.

When his eyes opened, the world seemed to bow before him.

A God of War... descending upon the mortal realm.

Around the globe, every viewer, every fighter, every commentator fell silent.

Even Surya—the man who had never been surprised by anyone—felt his heart tremble.

A faint smile tugged at his lips.

”So this... this is your true strength?”

His eyes gleamed, like twin suns igniting.

”Good. Very good!”

CRACK—!

And with that, Surya’s own aura exploded outward.

If, before, Surya had been a crouching tiger ready to pounce,

then now—he was an ancient beast awakening from its slumber.

The ground quaked beneath his feet; the air itself warped around him.

His muscles tightened, and the invisible force radiating from his body felt heavy enough to crush mountains.

”My martial path,” Surya said slowly, ”is condensed entirely into these two fists. If you can withstand them... then perhaps, you can defeat me!”

He raised his fist—an act so simple, yet so terrifying that the world seemed to hold its breath.

Fenric smiled, his voice calm but sharp as steel.

”What a coincidence. My fists... are quite powerful too.”

Surya threw back his head and laughed.

”Hahahahaha!”

Then, without warning—

Both men moved.

BOOM!

A violent sonic boom split the air as the two vanished from sight.

Their movements shattered the sound barrier; only afterimages remained.

The next instant, their silhouettes collided high above the ring.

Fenric met Surya’s incoming strike head-on. His eyes were calm—utterly fearless.

Their fists collided.

BOOOOOOM!!!

A deafening explosion shook the heavens.

It wasn’t the sound of mere impact—it was the sound of space itself screaming under the force of their blows.

In that single instant, the very world trembled.

Mountains, oceans, and skies seemed to echo with the clash between two beings who had transcended humanity.

And from that collision—

—the power to destroy the world was born!
