Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 182: Chapter 182: Kung Fu Hustle and Midnight Ring! (6/8)

According to the official guide,

the Seventh Stage of the Samsara Tower offers two dungeon options:

The ”Normal” difficulty dungeon: Kung Fu Hustle.

The ”Difficult” difficulty dungeon: Midnight Ring.

When Fenric saw the names of these two dungeons, he was momentarily stunned.

These worlds were far too familiar to him.

With almost no hesitation, Fenric made his choice for this mission: ”Kung Fu Hustle.”

Though it was labeled as a ”normal” difficulty dungeon and would naturally yield fewer rewards, Fenric wasn’t after rewards this time.

From the moment he saw the name ”Kung Fu Hustle,” his decision was sealed.

Fenric opened the official guide to review the details:

”There are two dungeons on the Seventh Stage of the Samsara Tower: the normal-level Kung Fu Hustle, and the difficult-level Midnight Ring.”

The guide continued:

”Let’s start with the difficult dungeon, Midnight Ring.”

”In my personal opinion, its difficulty is comparable to The Mountain Village Old Corpse. If your mental fortitude is lacking, I strongly advise you not to enter this dungeon.”

”The mission objective is simple: survive.”

”Upon entering, you’ll find an old TV, a broken-down DVD player, and a videotape. Once the tape is played, you will be cursed. A vengeful spirit named Sadako will mark you.”

Fenric stopped reading. He had no intention of dealing with Sadako.

Instead, he skipped directly to the strategy guide for ”Kung Fu Hustle.”

Truthfully, Fenric knew the world of ”Kung Fu Hustle” far better than any official guide could explain.

Still, he wanted to confirm whether the system had altered the plot.

”Now, let’s discuss the normal-level dungeon Kung Fu Hustle.”

”Don’t underestimate it. While it isn’t horror-based like Midnight Ring, the world of Kung Fu Hustle is filled with martial arts masters. A single wrong encounter could prove fatal.”

”The dungeon’s background is a world where industrial development is just beginning. Technology is primitive—comparable to our world eighty years ago.”

”The dungeon mission revolves around fame. Your reputation—whether good or bad—must spread. There is no distinction between good and evil. As long as your name is widely known, you can complete the task.”

”Mission requirement: Gain at least 10,000 fame points within one month!”

”Based on player speculation, one fame point equals recognition from one individual. In other words, your name must be known by at least 10,000 people.”

”All Samsara players will start in a city called Eastern Light. This city is dominated by a powerful organization known as the Axe Gang.”

”It’s recommended to join the Axe Gang. Anyone who has made it to the Seventh Stage should at least have a C-level overall strength rating. With your skills, joining them won’t be a challenge.”

”How do you build fame? The simplest method is to help the Axe Gang expand their territory, ensuring other gangs know your name.”

The tone of the guide suddenly became stern:

”Pay close attention to this: The Axe Gang’s ambition is to conquer all of Eastern Light. However, there’s one area you must avoid—the Pig Sty Walled City. It’s extremely dangerous and filled with masters.”

”If the Axe Gang assigns you to the Pig Sty Walled City, I strongly advise you to behave respectfully. Don’t provoke anyone there. Pretend, survive, and leave as quickly as possible.”

The guide then listed the city’s residents:

”The burly man carrying sandbags daily is called Coolie. His specialty is the Twelve Kick expert—one kick can shatter a concrete wall!”

”The frail-looking old man at the tailor shop wields an iron fist with terrifying power!”

”The middle-aged man practicing with a staff is a master of Bagua staff technique. His stick technique is flawless, like flowing water.”

”Based on analysis from veteran players, the combined strength of these three easily exceeds C-level and edges close to B-level!”

”Moreover, the landlords of Pig Sty Walled City—a mysterious couple—are even stronger. The husband is a Tai Chi master, while the wife possesses a devastating soundwave technique (Lion’s Roar Gong). Their power is undoubtedly beyond B-level!”

”As for other hidden masters? Unknown for now.”

”Warning again: Unless you are absurdly strong, do not challenge the Pig Sty Walled City. Your ending will be disastrous.”

After finishing the guide, Fenric frowned slightly.

There was no mention of ”Fire Cloud Evil God” or ”Sing”, the protagonist with unparalleled talent.”

Could it be because the mission only lasts one month, leaving no time for them to appear?

Fenric’s eyes gleamed with a trace of anticipation.

A plan quickly formed in his mind.

Fenric wasn’t interested in the standard rewards from this dungeon.

If he wanted high-tier rewards, he would’ve chosen Midnight Ring.

The real reason he chose ”Kung Fu Hustle” was the beggar—and more importantly, the ”Buddha Palm Technique” technique in Sing’s hands.

Conveniently, he had obtained a Temporary Perception Card from the previous dungeon.

This card would be crucial for mastering the Buddha Palm Technique tonight!

Fenric turned off his phone, picked up a pen and a stack of white paper, and began sketching.

He was practicing drawing the beggar’s likeness.

At first, the sketches were rough and unrecognizable.

But after hours of practice, the images started taking shape.

By late afternoon, dozens of sheets were scattered around him, each more refined than the last.

The final drawings bore an uncanny resemblance to the beggar from Kung Fu Hustle—

the very one who tricked Sing with the fake ”Buddha Palm Technique” manual when he was a child.

Midnight.

At exactly 12:00 AM, Fenric entered Samsara Space once again.
