Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 86: Chapter 86: Stalling Where Aurora Once Was

Samsara Space

Inside his Personal Warehouse, Fenric lifted the newly earned Golden Treasure Chest. Heart beating, he cracked the lid.

Om— a wash of gold.

Congratulations! You opened a Golden Treasure Chest and obtained the Combat Skill: Savage Charge!

Savage Charge (Active): Launch a ferocious forward rush. For 5 seconds you are immune to all damage; your attack power ×3 during the charge.

Cost: Heavy energy consumption; use with caution.

Fenric blinked—then exhaled, expression mixed.

”Good trump card,” he muttered. ”Five seconds of invuln... at the right moment, that’s a life.”

But disappointment still pricked. It wasn’t that Savage Charge was bad; it was that last time, his Golden Chest from World War Z had produced Telekinesis—an open‑ended, all‑purpose monster of an ability. Compared to that, even a top‑tier burst skill felt small.

He reminded himself: Golden chests always give good things—but quality bands vary, and rewards are random

within table. Can’t win the jackpot every draw.Mood settled, he moved on. Tonight’s haul was still massive.

50,000 fresh Samsara Points had dropped. Fenric burned 45,000 of them straight away, buying 150 Potential Points and spreading them across his base stats, keeping 5,000 in reserve. (He would’ve loved to push Armament Haki higher, but...)

Upgrade cost: Grandmaster → Transcendent Armament = 240,000 points.

”Yeah, no. Not happening,” he snorted. Even the richest veterans would choke on that bill.

(Skill upgrade costs scale with rarity + ceiling. The nastier the skill, the steeper the climb.)

Comprehensive Rating:B.

He stared at the numbers, a slow grin spreading on his face.

All four base stats past 100—and Spirit a staggering 200. Add the +30 Physique system bonus just granted, and the jump was even sweeter.

From fresh second‑stage entrant to B‑rank overall—that would turn heads. In Samsara, B‑class already counted as a major figure. Flash that rating in the real world and most organizations would immediately court him for upper‑tier leadership tracks.

Fenric curled a fist, feeling raw force coil and uncoil through tendon and bone. Power at your fingertips make him addictive.

Two more rewards came with the Nightmare clear:+30 Physique (already applied).

Dungeon Cooldown Refresh Card ×1.

The card let him bypass the usual cooldown and jump straight to the third stage if he wanted.

Third Stage content? At present there was only one live rotation:

Third Stage Mainline Public Instance:One Piece.

A sprawling, multi‑stage public world staged across several tower levels—appearing here at 3rd Stage, again in later arcs. Rumor said the Floor 28 variant was the famed ”Marineford Summit War” run—the very stage that once bottlenecked Aurora Morwyn.

Only Adam had ever cleared that high‑tier One Piece stage.

Tempting as the Refresh Card was, Fenric shelved it. The Mountain Village Old Corpse run had drained him mentally if not physically; better to cool off, consolidate, and plan.

He pulled the soot‑cleaned bracelet—taken from Renée Chu’s bones—from storage.

”System, appraise.”

Special Item: Grievance‑Resolving Bracelet.

Originally used to pacify the resentful soul of Renée Chu. After sealing the target, residual spirit energy restructured the item.

New Function – Random Teleport: A weakened derivative of Renée Chu’s spatial curse. Activating the bracelet warps the user to a random location within up to 5,000 meters.

Cooldown: 24 hours (1 use/day).

Note: Destination is random but guaranteed unobstructed (no embedding in rock).

Fenric’s eyebrows shot up. ”Emergency wrap? I’ll take it.”

Life‑saver item secured, he stowed the bracelet with care.

All told? Nightmare clear, big points, new burst skill, teleport safety button, stat breakthrough to B‑rank—plus his arm back. He couldn’t have asked for better.
