S*x Payment World

That crude way of saying it really was specific to this new world. For her, it was nothing special. For me, it was simply surreal.

“I-Is that so?”

“That’s right. How long is your notice period?”

“Two weeks.”

“I’ll have to make the best use of that time, then.”

She gave me an impish smile, which made me swallow my saliva.

‘I’m looking forward to that too.’

We soon reached her floor. I waited with the box in hand while she opened the door to her apartment.

“Please come in.”

She invited me in after that, and I took a look at her place of living. Her home was completely different from mine, despite being in the same building. Forgetting about the cleanliness level, her apartment was much larger and nicer than mine.

The building had two different types of units. On the sides were the family-sized ones, with several rooms and a lot of space, and in the middle were the small studio-sized ones, like mine, that were only there to ‘fill’ the remaining space. On top of that, being in the corner of the building, her place had many more windows on several sides, while I only had the single one, making a big difference in lighting level.

I had never cared too much about where I lived, but, seeing how nice her unit was and how changed my life had become, I started to consider switching to better living conditions. Maybe if I earned enough, I could even hire someone to clean for me since I hated doing the cleaning myself.

“Can you put the box here?”

I was woken up from my maid delusions by Elodie, who was pointing at a corner of the entrance hallway. I did as she said and delicately set the box down, my arms immediately feeling relieved to get rid of the unpleasant load.

However, in this new spot, I had a view into one of the rooms, and noticed something unexpected. There, on the bed, were a couple of tools no one could mistake, the type that women used to play with themselves. The famous sexual toys. One of them, a decent-sized dildo, was even shining in the light, proof of very recent usage.

Elodie followed my gaze and blushed. She ran to the room to close the door, facing me with her cheeks and ears slightly flushed.

“Haha… Sorry about the mess.”

“N-No, it’s fine.”

I didn’t really get what the criteria were for what was shameful or not in this world. Nevertheless, I didn’t touch on the topic since it seemed to make her uncomfortable. We stared into each other’s eyes for a moment, speechless, before I shook my head.

“I’ll go now, Elodie. Tell me if you need help with anything else in the future.”

“Thanks a lot. You saved me.”

I left her apartment on this awkward note, moving to my place. There, I threw myself on the bed, taking my phone out to check for any new emails or notifications.

There were indeed a few, mostly on the streaming platform. Some of my viewers sent me messages of thanks, and I read them with a warm heart. This was another benefit of being an SR streamer in this world. People were genuinely thankful for your work, and many expressed it directly. It truly was a nice and gratifying job.

I also noticed two different messages. The first one was from Lacos, and I read it carefully.

That was abrupt. I hadn’t even streamed for a week, and I received an offer like this. I thought about it for a few moments but decided not to act on it. They didn’t say anything about the offer itself, and, most importantly, with all the strange rumors about the company, I didn’t want to take any risk. There was no such thing as a clean multinational enterprise, and I was doing just fine on my own so far.

In my last stream, I already had several hundred viewers, who gifted me several hundred dollars in total for that single session. With more than eight billion people in the world, there really was no limit to how large a viewership I could acquire, with the corresponding donations, and I was even starting to think there might be no need to go with paid membership at all. People were quite generous with me, in proportion to how much they liked what they managed to feel through my actions.

Ignoring the Lacos offer, I moved to the next one. This was also an offer, but of a completely different type. The sender was someone called PlayfulRelease, which was quite a suspicious name, and was also an SR streamer. Or maybe I should say, a provoking name? This might be a well-chosen name for a streamer trying to attract attention, unlike my random Parallelver name.

Short and straight to the point. Curious, I went to her streaming page on the site. Her number of followers was higher than mine by a bit, though I hoped to reach her level soon enough. There was also a picture of her together with a small video preview, showcasing edited parts of a stream of hers.

She was a blonde girl with blue eyes, short in stature, hiding her face with a black surgical-like mask over her mouth. I understood her impression after watching the video.

In short, she was either timid or wanted to keep her identity safe because she never showed her face fully. She also didn’t go out and always streamed from home. Her concept was to stream her masturbation since she was more sensitive than most people. She used all sorts of props and tools, just like the ones I had just seen in Elodie’s room, but what differentiated her from the masses was a single specificity, which made me hard just watching it.
