Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 121: Dinner Time

Adam returns to his room. He has no idea whatʼs going on downstairs in the living room, but if he did, he would be watching them, filming them, adding more to his growing pile of evidence.

He doesnʼt need any more, but itʼs not something he wouldnʼt mind having more of.

When the time comes, he wants to overwhelm Julia. Break her, make it so that she has no paths to escape.

When Adam finally makes his move, Julia will have no other choice but to submit to him. And when that happens, Adam is going to take out all the frustration and pent-up lust he has for her on her.

Adam sits down at his computer and starts looking for other opportunities that can help him grow his wealth, when his phone suddenly rings.

Itʼs Clara.

ʼWasnʼt she supposed to talk to Tyler and Bobby today? It must be about that,ʼ Adam thinks, and picks up the phone.

”Clara, how did it go? Did they cause you any trouble?” Adam asks.

”No, all went well. They signed all the legal documents. They looked very happy while signing it, knowing they were going to get their hands on a bunch of money,” Clara says.

”Good, do they have any queries?” Adam asks.

”Not important, they were just wondering when they will get the funds,” Clara asks.

”Let me deal with that. Thank you for your hard work,” Adam says.

”Anything for my sweet boy~” Clara says teasingly.

”Am I still a boy to you? I think I am already a grown man~” Adam replies back cheekily.

Hearing his words immediately sparked the memory of him being naked in her mind, and that huge thing dangling between his legs.

In no way, shape, or form can Clara call Adam, boy with what he is packing.

Suddenly, her words get stuck in her mouth as she doesnʼt know what to say.

”...Okay! I need to leave! Talk to you later!” Clara sounds panicked and immediately ends the call.

Adam looks at his phoneʼs screen and smirks before going back to browsing his computer.

Time flies by. He looks at the clock and sees that itʼs about time.

ʼIʼd better clean up and look my best,ʼ Adam thinks as he enters the bathroom to take a quick shower. Once done, he walks out and goes through his wardrobe, and puts on something that would fit both business and date setting.

White fitting shirt, blue chino pants, a simple-looking silver watch with a blue dial, before applying a fragrance that has notes of both leather and vanilla in it.

Staring at the mirror, Adam styles his hair to flow with the structure of his face. Everything falls in place. Adam looks at his reflection and sees himself looking the best he has ever looked.

He clearly put in a little more effort to look even better for tonight. ʼI am sure Margarette is going to appreciate all the effort I am putting into looking good for her. And that old man better keep his word,ʼ Adam thinks.

His phone buzzes again. He looks at it. Itʼs a message from Jack.

[I am waiting outside] the message reads. Adam reads the message and makes his way down.

As he climbs down the stairs, he sees Julia and Hazel talking to each other about something.

Adam is surprised to see Hazel still here. He has a wild guess.

ʼShe clearly invited her over because no oneʼs gonna be home,ʼ Adam thinks and understands why Hazel is hear.

The women notice Adam and look at him. Julia stares at him with squinting eyes while Hazel smiles and waves at him.

”Where are you going?” She canʼt help but ask.

”Dinner with my dad and his special friend,” Adam says.

”Oh... Well then, have a good night,” Hazel says cheerfully.

”You too,” Adam says and gives her a wink before heading out.

Hazel feels puzzled by Adamʼs wink, wondering what it means.

ʼDoes he know whatʼs going on between me and Julia? Does he approve of it? Or is he just flirting? Fuck! This is so frustrating. No wonder my poor Julia is always on edge around him,ʼ Hazel thinks.

She looks at Julia, and a mischievous smile appears on her face.

Now that Adam has left, they can finally let loose.

”Finally! I can finally have you all to myself,” Hazel says, pulling Julia in and planting a deep, passionate kiss on her lips, which Julia reciprocates.

Adam walks outside, having no idea that the women have already started sucking each otherʼs faces, even though he is still not out of the gate.

He would have a hard time believing those two women have no self-control when it comes to getting physical with each other. They are only exercising restraint because Julia insists on not getting caught. And Hazel understands her. She understands why Julia married Jack and why she broke off their relationship.

She also understands that their relationship is still fragile right now, and she needs to listen to Julia if she wants their relationship to go back to how it was. With her being in control.

He walks out of the gate and sees his fatherʼs expensive black sedan parked outside.

Adam walks up to it and opens the back door, and gets in. He sees his father sitting in the passenger seat while his personal driver is on the wheel.

”Letʼs go,” Jack says now that Adamʼs in.

The driver nods and takes off.

Jack stares at Adam through the mirror. There is silence inside the car until Jack finally decides to speak up.

”You dressed up,” Jack says. Impressed by how good his son looks. He can already see Margarette unable to keep her eyes off his son.

”To make sure that I get what was promised,” Adam says, staring back at Jack through the mirror.

”First, you need to succeed,” Jack says.

”Donʼt worry about that,” Adam replies. Jack smirks.

”Donʼt get cocky. She is an experienced woman. She has dealt with more men in her life than you have with women,” Jack says.

Adam just stares. He doesnʼt need to prove anything to Jack. Jack will know how capable Adam is once he is done with Margarette.

The silence returns to the car. The only sound that can be heard is the sound of the carʼs engine humming inside the cabin.

Twenty minutes later, they arrive at their destination. A five-star restaurant.

Jack gets out first, Adam follows, and the driver drives away.

Both father and son stand before the restaurant, immediately becoming the center of attention.

Jack, a man in his late forties, is handsome, mature with a rugged-looking demeanor. Young women would look at him and think of dominant, handsome sugar daddy vibes.

Next to him, his son, Adam. even more handsome, youthful energy, charming aura, elegant, but a powerful commanding stance. Women canʼt take their eyes off him.

”Donʼt mess this up,” Jack says.

”You worry too much, old man,” Adam says.

Jack looks at his son and sees the confident look on his face, which lowers his stress a little. Jack doesnʼt show it, but he hopes that Adam works some magic on Margarette because she is a very important client that he doesnʼt wanna lose.

He nods his head and leads Adam into the restaurant.

As the father-son pair walks in, a beautiful female staff member approaches them.

She is wearing a red cap, a red suit, a black shirt underneath, a red pencil skirt, black stockings, and red high heels. She is clearly adhering to the restaurant dress code.

As she gets close to them. Her eyes immediately fall on Adam. She is mesmerized by how handsome he is, and the mature but playful scent coming off him just makes the beautiful staff woman want to jump Adam, but she is a professional. She knows to keep her thoughts and feelings in check.

Though she tries her best to hide her expressions, someone as observant as Jack clearly takes notice of her infatuation with Adam. This raises his confidence in his son.

His son clearly has an impact on women, which makes him feel proud of himself for giving birth to such a son.

”This way, gentlemen, the madam is already waiting for you two,” she says. Indicating that the woman they are here to eat with is already present.

Adam looks at Jack.

”Sheʼs already here? Did we arrive late?” Adam asks.

”No, we are on time. Her family owns this restaurant. She might have been here before we even arrived,” Jack says.

Adam nods his head as he and Jack follow the woman into an elevator.

As the elevator door closes, Adam sees that itʼs mirrored. He sees their reflection on it. The elevator starts going up.

Adam also notices how the female staff member keeps peeking at him. So he decides to stare back at her.

Their eyes meet, and Adam gives her a charming smile. The woman blushes before looking away, embarrassed for getting caught staring.

The sound of chimes rings, and the door opens. They are on the topmost floor of the restaurant. Only reserved for the wealthiest of the bunch.

”This way,” the female staff member says and guides them to the table.

Adamʼs eyes immediately fell on the woman sitting there. She looks stunning.

Wearing a stunning red dress, bright red lip gloss, black eyeliner enhancing her beautiful blue eyes, and the soft breeze brushing against her platinum blonde hair, giving it some sway.

She looks like an angel. A very seductive Angel.
