Reborn As Noble

Liana, who was standing beside Javier, smiled softly behind her mask.

”Young Master? May I ask?”

”Hmm? What is it, Liana?” Javier glanced at her eyes.

”So... this operation... was it a success?” Liana mumbled softly.

Javier glanced at Gracelle before letting out a soft exhale and looking back at Liana.

”The operation to remove the curse parasite was a success, thanks to everyone, especially you. I was surprised, Liana. I have a lot to ask about that skill of yours, but I think I’ll leave it for later.”

He glanced back at Gracelle. ”The next step is to see if she recovers fully. As a precaution, I might run a blood test to check if there are any lingering toxins or residual effects from the curse parasite living inside her body for over four years. Even though the parasite is gone, prolonged exposure could have affected her blood composition, organ function, or even her immune system.”

Liana looked at Javier before glancing at Gracelle, who was still unconscious. ”What if her blood is still contaminated? What will you do?”

Javier shook his head. ”If that happens, we might need to perform a blood filtration procedure to cleanse her system. It’s a method to remove toxins and impurities directly from her bloodstream.”

”For now, we’re going to move her to the next zone, what I call the Intensive Care Unit. There, we’ll monitor her condition closely, checking her vitals, organ function, and neurological responses to see if she wakes up from her unconscious state. We’ll also be prepared to intervene immediately if any complications arise.”

He glanced at Myra. ”Myra?”

”Yes, Your Highness?” Myra looked up at Javier.

”After this, contact the command center and ask them to send another group of our Armand healers. This is a valuable learning experience, and we need more personnel so the current team doesn’t burn out.”

Myra nodded respectfully. ”You don’t need to worry about that, Your Highness. My team and I are prepared to assist in any way necessary. We can handle the workload for now.”

Javier shook his head. ”No can do. Don’t exhaust yourself and the others. Besides, this is good experience for the rest of your team as well. We need to rotate and share the responsibility.”

”If you say so, Your Highness. I will follow your order and contact my team immediately.”

”Good.” He glanced at Liana and Myra. ”Liana? Myra? You two stay here. I’m going to make the final preparations for the ICU zone and set up our rest area.”

Javier paused at the door and turned toward them.

”Make sure to contact me if anything happens. And Myra?”

”Yes, Your Highness?”

”After Kalea and Juria arrive with the stretcher, carefully move the patient onto it and set up the monitoring system just like I showed you before, connect the leads, ensure the oxygen mask is properly fitted, and adjust the IV drip if needed. If you’re unsure about anything, contact me with the mana talkie. I won’t be far.”

”As you command, Your Highness.”

”Mm... let’s hope this is the first and last time we do surgery like this.” Javier mumbled softly before walking out the door.

After Javier left the room, Myra exhaled softly.

Liana remained silent for a moment, looking at Gracelle before mumbling softly under her breath.

”You better recover and wake up soon... for everyone’s sake, especially for the ones who fought so hard to save you.”

Ari’s voice echoed softly in Liana’s mind. ”Liana?”

Liana responded mentally. ”Yes, Ari?”

”Why did you say it like that? You love Javier, right?”

”Yes, Ari. I really love Young Master. Why?”

”Isn’t that more reason not to wish for her to recover? Wouldn’t it be better if she... didn’t wake up?”

Liana fell silent for a moment before smiling softly.

”That’s all the more reason for me to wish this girl recovers quickly. Because I don’t want to see... Young Master sad... again.”

Ari chuckled softly. ”You know Javier is already bound to all his girls through the Elyria Dance. That dance isn’t just a dance, you know~ It binds the person to all the partners chosen and was taught by the Radiant... ah... nothing.”

”I know... but Ari?”

”Hmm? Yes, Liana?”

”You didn’t finish your words. What do you mean by Radiant?”

”Ah, nothing. Your face looks radiant today~”

”Really?” Liana narrowed her eyes.

”If there’s nothing more... I’m going to sleep, Liana~ Good night.”

”It’s not even night here, Ari.”

”Ah... it’s always night here~”

Myra noticed Liana was silent, seemingly lost in thought.

”Miss Liana?”

Liana snapped out of her conversation with Ari and glanced at Myra.

”Yes, Myra?”

”It’s rare to see you so deep in thought. Is something troubling you?” Myra looked at Liana with a curious expression.

”Ah, nothing. Don’t worry about it, Myra.” Liana said softly, smiling behind her mask. ”Perhaps I’m just a bit tired.”

”Oh... really?” Myra raised an eyebrow, glancing at Liana, who had suddenly mumbled something to herself.

I wonder who Liana was talking to?

Does she have... Myra tilted her head... something like a split personality?

Weird.

Myra decided to ask again. ”Miss Liana?”

”Hmm? Yes, Myra?” Liana looked at her again, tilting her head to the side.

”Can I ask something?” Myra hesitated slightly.

”Sure... what is it, Myra?” Liana smiled behind her mask, both hands clasped in front of her scrubs.

”Your healing and Purify skills... I’ve never seen or read about anything like them. Are they an Elven specialty?” Myra asked, her tone filled with genuine curiosity.

Liana smiled. ”You could say that, Myra. They’re special skills passed down through my lineage.”

Ari laughed inside Liana’s head.

”Passed down through your lineage? Seriously?”

”Oh, hush, Ari. You forgot I can’t tell anyone this skill was learned from Lady Mother? The Golden Tome of Knowledge chooses a special skills for every one of Young Master’s girls.”

Ari let out a soft laugh. ”And yet you lied to her~”

Liana shook her head and exhaled. ”Ari?”

”Hmm? Yes, Liana?”

”You still remember what Lady Mother said to everyone?”

”Mm... I still remember what the Radiant... ah... Francesca said before.”

”Ari... you mentioned Radiant again... What is it?”

”Ah... you better not know.” Ari’s tone softened, a hint of caution in her voice. ”Some secrets are better left as secrets. It’s better for us and everyone to be ready for what’s to come...”

”Mm... Lady Mother mentioned we should train our best with Young Master, for something she didn’t explain.”

Ari smiled softly. ”Let’s just trust what Francesca is planning. She has her reasons, and we should follow her guidance.”
