Since things had already reached this point, Li Yiming naturally did not dare to hide anymore.

He quickly put on a serious face and told her everything from when he heard the news and rushed to Snowflake City, to when he met An Zhenyu on the way, to when he met up with the other elders to discuss the plan.

Looking at Huang Yueli’s increasingly gloomy expression, he couldn’t sit still.

“Matriarch Huang, what I said is absolutely the truth. If you don’t believe me, I can find other elders to testify for me. I really… I really didn’t expect that little thief An Zhenyu…How dare you lie to me! He’s clearly using me to kill you through the Cloudy Qilin Clan!

This kid is really too vicious!”

Recalling An Zhenyu’s seemingly sincere face, Li Yiming gritted his teeth in anger.

An Zhenyu’s plan was really too vicious!

If they had done it through someone else, as long as the Sacred Phoenix Clan pursued the matter, they would contact An Zhenyu sooner or later.

But the person he was looking for was someone from Cloudy Qilin Clan.

Everyone knew that Cloudy Qilin Clan and Sacred Phoenix Clan had a great enmity. Cloudy Qilin Clan’s Elder had gone crazy and poisoned Huang Yueli. Although it felt a little strange, no one would suspect that there was another story behind this matter.

At that time, Cloudy Qilin Clan would be the scapegoat.

As for him, Li Yiming, he would be the first to bear the brunt and die without a burial place…

At the thought of this, Li Yiming felt a lingering fear.” Matriarch Huang, An Zhenyu actually used such a vicious trick. He clearly hates you to the bone! Don’t worry, our Cloudy Qilin Clan won’t let this matter rest just like that. We will definitely send people to the White Fen Clan to seek justice! I will definitely give you an explanation!”

However, his anxious explanation only received a cold glare from Huang Yueli.

“Do I need you to seek justice for me? What a joke!”

As she spoke, she lifted her chin towards the direction of the door,” Since this matter has nothing to do with Cloudy Qilin Clan, I will not implicate the innocent. Elder Li, it’s getting late and I should rest for the afternoon. I won’t send you off.”

Li Yiming couldn’t help but stare blankly and after two breaths, he finally reacted that Huang Yueli was asking him to leave.

An awkward expression appeared on his face. He laughed dryly but did not get up.

“Matriarch Huang, this…This matter has become like this. It’s indeed us…We were thoughtless. I wonder when our Young Master will return. I want to explain and apologize to him face to face…”

When Huang Yueli heard that, she sneered: ” Elder Li’s words are really interesting. Don’t tell me you think that since the poison in the porcelain bottle wasn’t prepared by you, this matter has nothing to do with your Cloudy Qilin Clan? I’m afraid you’ve forgotten who put the medicine in my cup just now! How could I let someone like you stay at home?”

Li Yiming choked. His face quickly turned pale and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

Earlier when Huang Yueli believed his words, he thought that the matter had already passed.

Now, he realized that he was being naive.

If Huang Yueli was such an easy to talk to person, why would they have to suffer the loss of both Young Master and soldier, to fall into such a sullen situation now?

Huang Yueli put down the cup heavily,” Men, send Elder Li out! From now on, no Cloudy Qilin Clan member is allowed to step within a five mile radius.”

As soon as she finished speaking, a few guards came over and asked Li Yiming to leave.

Li Yiming took a few steps back and suddenly gritted his teeth. He shook off the guards and rushed towards the backyard.
