So even though Divine Doctor Zhang gave him a score which was only one point lower than Liu Buyan’s, but the moment this prescription was out, who couldn’t tell that Liu Buyan’s answer was the correct one and he…What a joke!

This was even more embarrassing than directly announcing the correct answer.

An Zhenyu felt extremely depressed. He could only repeatedly hypnotize himself to focus on the overall situation and force himself to focus all his attention on pill refinement.

With Divine Doctor Zhang’s ‘start’, all the Spirit Medicine Masters were jolted.

However, most of them did not act immediately.

It wasn’t that they didn’t want to waste time, but…With their eyesight, it was not an easy task for them to understand the complete pill formula, understand and master every step of the operation.

Even if they were all Heaven Grade Spirit Medicine Masters, as long as they had a success rate of more than 30% when refining Heaven Grade medicinal pills, they could obtain this title.

Even refining a familiar pill formula only had a 30% chance of success, let alone now that he was facing a brand new pill formula.

Even though the invigilators had given everyone three sets of medicinal herbs, which was equivalent to three chances to try, no one could guarantee that they would succeed even once.

Many Spirit Medicine Masters raised their heads to look at the pill formula. Their brows were twisted so tightly that they were about to knot. They stood on the spot without moving.

Only Liu Buyan and An Zhenyu started to operate at the first possible moment.

Both of them knew what kind of strong opponents they were facing, so they were not willing to waste any time and used their fastest speed.

Arrange the medicinal ingredients, clean the pill furnace, light the fire, warm it up, refine it…

An Zhenyu and Liu Buyan’s techniques were extremely skilled and furthermore, the two of them were handsome young men so when they executed this set of moves like flowing water, it attracted the attention of the audience.

From time to time, the audience would hear the exclamations of young girls.

There were even people cheering for the two of them.

Hearing these sounds, the two of them increased their speed. When they changed their hand seals, they could no longer be seen with the naked eye, leaving afterimages in the air.

An Zhenyu had used his full strength this time and originally wanted to gain the upper hand by using an incomparably pure technique to stun Liu Buyan so as to strike a blow to Liu Buyan’s confidence.

But who knew that no matter how much he sped up, even to the point of exerting all his strength, Liu Buyan actually caught up to him.

Furthermore, because of the pill refining furnace’s advantage, after the medicinal ingredients entered the refining step, Liu Buyan’s speed had obviously surpassed him!

An Zhenyu’s mood was getting more and more anxious and in order to catch up to Liu Buyan’s progress, he could only increase his hand speed.

However, the more impatient he was and the more he wanted to catch up as soon as possible, the easier it was for him to make mistakes.

In fact, many of his actions which were originally extremely easy for him had deviated and he even made a wrong hand seal, almost causing his chest to explode on the spot. Although he managed to salvage it in time, but the gap between his progress and Liu Buyan’s was getting further and further apart…

An Zhenyu was extremely anxious and at this moment he could no longer maintain the calm demeanor of a noble Young Master. His face was flushed red and cold sweat dripped down from his forehead. As he gritted his teeth and increased his hand speed, he prayed in his heart, hoping that Liu Buyan would make a mistake in his haste and make a mistake.

Unfortunately, his prayers were useless.

Liu Buyan was calm and composed from the beginning to the end and although his movements were swift, they were orderly.

An hour later, his pill furnace began to emit green smoke.

It was a sign that the pill in the furnace was about to take shape!
