However, there was no time to think about whether it was disgusting or not.

Huang Yueli quickly discovered another fatal problem.

As the black fog continued to emerge from the Energy Void, the area of the void gradually expanded, and these Devil Beasts also approached step by step, gathering in the direction of the center.

Huang Yueli saw this and suddenly had a flash of inspiration,” Could it be that these Devil Beasts want to get close to the Energy Void and absorb this black fog at a close distance?”

Li Moying nodded his head,” That’s most likely the case, we…be careful!”

Halfway through his words, his expression suddenly changed as he stretched out his hand to grab Huang Yueli’s waist and pulled her back forcefully.

At the same time when he attacked, Huang Yueli also felt a cold wind approaching from behind and following her husband’s action, she twisted her waist and dodged to the side.

She turned around and saw a ferocious Devil Beast rushing into the grey fog at some point in time, pouncing straight at where she was just now.

Li Moying’s brows creased slightly as he seemed hesitant.

Huang Yueli hurriedly grabbed his hand and shook her head at him,” Don’t touch them! Have you forgotten? These Devils can sense the changes in the surrounding energy. If we kill one, the remaining ones will definitely pounce on us. We’re in big trouble! It’s better to just dodge. Don’t attack unless it’s absolutely necessary.”

Li Moying nodded in agreement.

The two of them immediately turned around and walked another 20 to 30 meters in the direction of the Energy Void.

Fortunately, they were right.

These Devil Beasts could not adapt to the violent energy in the grey fog. Although a few of them risked their lives to rush in, before they could get close to the two of them, they suddenly raised their heads and wailed. It was as if their flesh and blood were instantly sucked dry, and they instantly withered.

In just a few breaths, it turned into a pile of black ashes. Under the impact of different energies, it quickly fused with the grey fog.

Huang Yueli looked on from the side and suddenly felt a little nauseous.

The reason why the energy storm in the center was grey was because it had fused with a large number of Devil Beast corpses, right?

Then the air they had inhaled during this period of time was…

Ugh… She couldn’t continue thinking about it.

Huang Yueli shook her head hard to get rid of the distracting thoughts as she continued to observe the surrounding situation.

After the black fog spewed out of the Energy Void a few times, it stopped. It did not absorb the energy from the periphery anymore, and the central area formed a temporary equilibrium.

The Devil Beasts would be instantly killed as soon as they entered the grey fog. Although they kept pouncing forward, they were unable to get any closer.

Huang Yueli watched for a while and after confirming that they were safe, she felt slightly relieved.

The two of them sat down again and found some food from the space to replenish their strength. Then, they meditated and adjusted their breathing while thinking about the next step of the plan.

The Sky Phoenix Ring had stored quite a lot of food and pills. If they were simply trapped in the Profound Realm, their lives would not be in danger no matter how long they stayed.

But Huang Yueli felt that things wouldn’t be so simple.

Her intuition told her that if she couldn’t think of a way to leave this place in a short period of time, she and Li Moying might really be in danger this time!

Her intuition was right.

The balance in the central area was maintained for a few days and nights. Suddenly, at an unexpected moment, the black fog in the Energy Void erupted again!
