3979 Cornered (3)

“Although the number of spirit beasts outside seems to be a little less, in fact, many spirit beasts are hiding in the woods, or hunting nearby. Once we leave the cave, these spirit beasts will be able to recover in a short time and catch up with us quickly and continue to hunt us down.”

“Besides, when you ran for your life, you kept a certain distance from these spirit beasts, but now these spirit beasts are all crowded at the door! How can it be possible to kill them! If we had such strength, we wouldn’t be trapped here for days.”

Xuan Qingling actually felt that the first method was not reliable, so she said, “Well, then this way is considered unfeasible. But the second way seems even more unreliable.”

“Why so? Let’s discuss it.” Liu Buyan urged her.

Xuan Qingling looked at the entrance of the cave, then turned her head to look at the back, and said, “Since you can’t go from the front, you can only go in other directions. I just observed it, and there is a cool air flow from the back of this cave blowing from the outside, it seems that there must be an exit leading to the outside at the back, let’s look carefully, maybe we can find it.”

!!
Hearing this, Liu Buyan couldn’t help but sighed.

“I knew you would say this! Actually, before I brought you here, I had already lived in this cave for one night. At that time, I guessed that there was an exit behind the cave, so I went there to check it out.”

When he said this, he paused.

Xuan Qingling immediately felt terrible, “What’s going on? Is there something wrong? You can’t get through the exit?”

She reacted very quickly, knowing that since Liu Buyan had looked for it, if there was a way out, he would have said it long ago. It is impossible to wait until now, when they are in such a desperate situation.

Sure enough, Liu Buyan nodded depressedly and said, “You will find out if you come with me and have a look.”

With that said, he walked towards the back of the cave first.

Xuan Qingling quickly followed.

The inside of the cave was very dark, but Liu Buyan’s fire attribute talent was also very high. With a snap of his fingers, several lighting sparks flew out, illuminating the surrounding environment like daylight.

Behind the cave was a large gourd-shaped space. There were many weathered bones in it, and there were some scratch marks of beasts on the ground. Obviously, this was the cave where a high-level spirit beast once lived in.

Liu Buyan went straight to a corner and pushed aside some weeds with his hands, revealing a small hole.

“The air current you feel should come from here. I have searched for other places, and there is no other place than this little vent.”

Xuan Qingling knelt down, examined it carefully, and immediately frowned.

Because, this hole looks really small, about the size of a dog hole on the wall of someone else’s house, and it’s obviously unrealistic for people to go in.

Moreover, from their point of view, the inside of this dog hole was pitch black, so it can be seen that it should be a very long tunnel. They did not know how long it was and did not know what was at the other end. Climbing directly into it was no different from sending themselves to death.

Seeing this, Xuan Qingling’s face collapsed, “Then there is nothing else we can do? Are we really going to sit here and wait to die?”

Liu Buyan’s face also darkened.

In fact, although he was optimistic just now, he basically said it to comfort Xuan Qingling.

He also felt that it was unlikely for the two of them to escape this time.
