3800 Candidate For Fiancée (4)

“Everyone, Elders, please don’t get excited, listen to me…Elder Wei, he also did it for the sake of the clan! Although this proposal is indeed against the clan tradition and inappropriate, but after all, he had a good intention. Please rest assured, Moying’s fiancée will definitely be selected from the noble daughters of the Ancient God Clans!”

For Li Shihong, the Patriarch, balancing the relationship between the various branches of the clan was his most important duty.

So, he immediately spoke to appease the excited Elders.

At the same time, he did not forget to say a few good words for Li Zhengwei, and comforted everyone in every possible way.

!!
After the Elders took this reassurance, their attitude softened significantly. When facing Li Zhengwei, they were not so harsh.

But there were still some people who were not at ease.

Li Yuntao said: “Patriarch, let’s just decide directly. The Young Master’s wife will be selected from the clan’s heaven geniuses, and there is no need to consider other women from other Ancient God Clans. The female younger generation in our clan can be said to be flourishing, before the Young Master came to Amethyst Paramount Palace, most of the heaven geniuses in the clan are women, and there are quite a few beauties among them, enough for the Young Master to choose.”

“That’s right, that’s exactly what it should be!”

“In the past, the Patriarch of the clan married other clan’s women because there was no suitable candidate in the clan. This time, there are so many women of the right age in the clan, so there is no need to ask for help everywhere!”

As soon as Li Yuntao’s words came out of his mouth, everyone immediately responded with unanimous voices.

Because, what he said was exactly what other people wanted to say the most.

If all the girls from other ancient god races could be excluded from the candidates, then the girls from their own branch would have a much higher chance of winning.

Everyone looked at Li Shihong eagerly.

But this time, Li Shihong didn’t respond right away, but thought for a while, then frowned and said: “I also hope that Moying’s wife comes from the daughter of our clan, but you also know Moying’s character, what he doesn’t want to do, no one can force him to do it. If he doesn’t like these women in the clan, then he will definitely have to go to other God Clans to find suitable candidates, so I can’t guarantee you this.”

Elder Yu immediately said: “So, as long as whose daughter can get the Young Master to agree to marry her, the clan will agree?”

Li Shihong nodded slowly.

When everyone heard this, they became a little excited.

If it was said that Li Moying’s fiancée was only chosen based on her cultivation and talent, then except for Li Zijun who can compete with Li Leyun, everyone else was basically useless.

However, from Li Shihong’s point of view, the most important condition was that “the Young Master Likes it”, so there was a lot of room to play in it.

Although the female talent in their branch was not good enough, maybe she might just have caught the eyes of the Young Master?

Li Shihong was a shrewd person. Seeing everyone’s expressions, he guessed their thoughts completely.

He immediately said: “Everyone, no matter what you are going to do, you must remember Moying’s character. He has always been stern and not friendly with women. Even my Leyun had been mercilessly treated by him. So you better be careful.”

The Elders didn’t like to hear these words, and the smile froze on their faces for a while.

However, they all had to admit that what Li Shihong said was absolutely right!
