Chapter 2837: I’m going to Soul Connection Ocean! (4)

Hearing that, Li Shihong’s expression turned grave once again.

God Realm Tournament is said to be one of the most highly valued events for every single clan in God Realm.

All suitable young practitioners would practically take part in it. This was the best opportunity to show themselves off to the entire God Realm and there absolutely could not be any mistakes!

Even if they had full confidence in Li Moying, but Li Shihong would not take any chances and had to erase all influences which might affect them.

He thought for a moment and said, “Looks like we can’t belittle the Sacred Phoenix Race. This matter… we have no choice but to put up a defensive stance to it! Why don’t we do this? Since Sacred Phoenix Race’s so-called god grade genius would be ascending to God Realm in recent days, we Cloudy Qilin clan should also send some people to check out the situation in Soul Connection Ocean. We can also probe on the opponent’s background. This person will definitely be hidden by Sacred Phoenix Race after they leave Soul Connection Ocean and by then, it’d be much more difficult to find out the news about him!”

Various Elders all echoed in agreement. “That’s right, we should do that!”

Li Shihong quickly set his mind on this and said, “Since that’s so, which Elder is willing to head to Soul Connection Sea to lead your men to find out on this news? This mission is really insignificant but Sacred Phoenix Race had already sent their Elder there. So practitioners with lower abilities would not be able to find out any news at all. This is an important matter in the clan. If anyone could find out about the exact news, it would be considered as contributing merit for the clan!”

Li Shihong was worried that no one would be willing to go, so he emphasized the importance of this mission.

However, he hadn’t even said anything much when a voice immediately rang.

“I’ll go!”

He quickly looked in the direction of the voice and was stunned.

“Moying? You… you intend to go to the Soul Connection Ocean?”

Li Moying nodded. “That’s right, I’ll set off on the journey to the Soul Connection Ocean today!”

Li Shihong looked at him in shock and hurriedly tried to persuade him. “Wait a minute, Moying! This mission is important but it’s better for you not to do it! Based on your current situation, the most important matter is to cultivate properly. You must raise your ability as much as possible before the God Realm Tournament! It’s better now to be distracted at this point by other matters! Don’t worry, the clan’s Elders are willing to contribute their part for the clan. They would definitely find out all the information about your opponent!”

Saying that he turned around and looked at the Elders. “Anyone willing to head to the Soul Connection Ocean to clarify this matter, the disciples under your wing would receive an increase of thirty percent in resources!”

An increase of thirty percent!

The clan’s resources were all given out based on individual innate talents grades and those were fixed. Increasing a total of thirty percent would mean a dramatic increase in cultivation for their disciples!

This temptation to the Elders was simply too huge.

In an instant, everyone was practically fighting over the chance to go to the Soul Connection Ocean.

Li Shihong smiled and was extremely satisfied to see this.

He lifted his hand and expressed for everyone to keep quiet, preparing to announce the candidate of his choice.

However, Li Moying suddenly stood up from his seat.

He took a look at everyone in the Council Chamber and without saying a word, he turned around and walked out of the entrance.

Li Shihong was stunned and instantly called out to him. “Moying, what’s the matter? You… Where are you heading off to?”

Li Moying didn’t stop as his clear, steady voice was heard from the door, “I’m going to the Soul Connection Ocean!”
