Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 1854: Unsurpassable peerless top exponent (6)

Elder Qi clenched his teeth as he stopped in his tracks.

“Elder Pan, I feel that… everyone need not be in a hurry to leave so anxiously! Are you all really certain that Sovereign Mu is still above and that he’s about to come out from his closed door cultivation? Don’t you need to verify it with your own eyes?”

Elder Pan replied urgently, “What’s there to verify? Levitation Sword Palace’s Sword Array is already activated so surely it has already explained for itself isn’t it? If it’s not Sovereign Mu himself, who else is able to do this?”

Elder Qi replied, “This is hard to say, perhaps before Sovereign Mu went into rigid closed cultivation, he had once taken in a disciple or perhaps left some secret manual then his successor could also drive the array! Moreover speaking, what I don’t understand is, since he’s already come out of his closed door seclusion, then since he’s so powerful, why doesn’t he make a move towards us but instead activate the array? I heard that Blue Profound Sect’s Sect Protection Sword Array will not be activated unless it’s at a life and death point. Based on today’s situation, does he need to activate the Sword Array?”

Elder Qi’s forehead was wound tightly as he spoke out the doubts in his mind.

His fear towards Mu Chengying wasn’t as intense so he became the only one within the entire crowd to be able to remain calm to think things through.

Hearing his words, Huang Yueli’s heart thumped hard.

She had never expected that this plan of hers originally was a plan which popped out of desperation and it was all based on Mu Chengying’s many years of accumulated power to scare these people off momentarily, so that rest of the Six Sacred Lands no longer dared to come the second time.

Whoever knew that there was actually someone who wasn’t afraid of death and still had a clear mind, to see through the loophole in her plan.

Indeed, after Elder Qi said these, the other Elders who had originally ran out of the hall’s door all stopped in their tracks.

What Elder Qi said, made perfect sense.

If Mu Chengying had really came out of his closed door seclusion, then according to his past temper, he might have already taken action against them. At the very least, he would leave a mark on them to make them remember, instead of just chasing them out?

Moreover speaking, activating the Sect’s Protection Sword Array over such a small matter was indeed abnormal…..

But they didn’t dare to run back just like this, so they maintained the stance of running away at any point of time, as they shot suspicious gazes onto Cang Po Jun.

Cang Po Jun didn’t understand the situation as well but he couldn’t possibly display his ignorance at this point of time so his face was still maintaining the icy cold expression.

“Why? Since when has Blue Profound Sect required your permission to activate the Sword Array? Sovereign’s situation needs to be reported to you guys? Since you don’t believe, then head over to the rear hall personally. But… if Sovereign flares up and any accident happens, then it’s all your own doing!”

Elders all looked at each other in dismay, although their hearts were filled with doubts, but they didn’t dare to enter the rear hall.

It was better to be safe than sorry.

What if Mu Chengying was perfectly fine?

The few of them looked towards Elder Qi who spoke out at first, “Elder Qi, since you’ve raised this concern, then will you head in to take a look! After you’ve verified Sovereign Mu’s situation, then the rest of them will be assured, isn’t it?”

“You all…”

Elder Qi’s face flushed a bright red shade, as he turned melancholic.

He had raised out his doubt out of good intentions but in the end these people were all timid cowards, not daring to take any risks at all. Instead they pushed him out alone.

He clenched his teeth and said, “We go altogether! Do you really treat this Elder as an idiot?”

The few of them weighed the matter over and over again and still felt that there were too many suspicious points so a few bolder ones stood up, with the intention to take a look together at the situation inside.

Cang Po Jun knew deeply that if they went in, this play would definitely fall through but he had no way to stop them.
