Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 1807: Unable to go down (3)

What was going on?

Huang Yueli instinctively sensed that something was amiss but the problem now was that she couldn’t see anything and had no way to judge the surrounding situation so she could only continue to wait passively.

But she waited for a considerably long period of time only to discover that she was still at the original spot.

By now, even an idiot was able to understand that her teleportation had failed and there was a ninety nine percent chance that the token in her hands had lost its effectiveness. Or perhaps it could be put in another way, which was the token in her hands was not the genuine teleportation token!

Huang Yueli’s thoughts raced past like electro-optical flints as she linked back to the time when Cang Ning Yue tried ways and means, even taking the risk to break the law in front of Cang Po Jun and the rest, just to force her up the Sky Ascension Stairs, and the sinisterly cold smile on Cang Ning Yue’s face then.

This matter… absolutely was related to Cang Ning Yue!

She couldn’t help but laugh coldly in her heart, this Cang Ning Yue had improved! Her current motive was not just to let her make a fool out of herself, but… she also wanted Huang Yueli’s life!

She really didn’t knew if she should call Cang Ning Yue smart or to say that she was dumb.

Did she really think that after her death, she would be able to obtain Li Moying’s interest? The end result of her would probably be torn apart alive by Li Moying!

But Cang Ning Yue had indeed pushed her towards the hardest life and death point now.

The question now was, standing at this six thousand plus meter high Sky Ascension Stairs with her Profound Energy totally suppressed and all five senses lost, even her soul trace has disappeared and she was even worse off than an ordinary person, how was she going to go down?

Huang Yueli found it hard to make a decision right now hence she could only try her best to maintain her body’s balance, stopping at the original spot.

At the same time, the people below the mountain were looking at her intently, all waiting for her next step.

Initially, everyone felt that Huang Yueli was probably still hesitating, and unwilling to leave the Sky Ascension Stairs but after a long period of time had passed, they didn’t see her moving forward continuously, neither was she teleported down the mountain so many of them turned curious.

“What is Junior Sister Bai doing? Why hasn’t she given up?”

“Could it be that she thought that she is still able to continue climbing upwards, to challenge the height of seven thousand meters??”

“What kind of joke is that? The first step she took earlier almost caused her to fall, if she continued to proceed forward, wouldn’t she be looking for her own death? Moreover speaking, if she had the confidence, she would have continued moving forward long ago so why would she remain at the current spot for such a long period of time? It’s already been half an hour already isn’t it? Earlier when she finished six thousand meters , she hadn’t spent that much time at all!”

“That’s right, why is she hesitating? The sky is about to turn dark and if she doesn’t come down soon, it will be even more dangerous!”

“I hope Junior Sister Bai doesn’t take a wrong turn. If she wants to reach a higher height, it’s the same to do it next year so don’t continue climbing upwards any longer!”

As the duration of Huang Yueli’s stopping time dragged on, more and more disciples started to enter into a state of terror and clamour

A peerless genius with such outstanding innate talent wasn’t someone whom they could be jealous of. When a person’s ability had reached a standard where they were unable to aim for, the others would stop having the jealous feeling. In replacement was full admiration for her.

In the disciples’ hearts, the current Huang Yueli was the pride and fortune for the entire Blue Profound Sect so she couldn’t possibly meet her demise in the Sky Ascension Stairs assessment now!

Everyone was anticipating for her to return to ground safely.

But most of the practitioners had not thought that she was not able to come down because she was schemed against by someone but only assumed that she was unwilling to come down.
