Luo Jiyun gave a vivid and lifelike description, “The two Elders are all three to four hundred years old but they were still banging tables as they quarrelled, which was simply an eye-opener!”

According to the usual conditions, it wasn’t Luo Jiyun’s turn to attend such a kind of management meeting but as he displayed outstanding performance at the arena tournament plus Li Moying personally assigned him to his spokesman, hence he had the chance to attend the meeting.

Li Moying gave a cold snort, “These old men had always been like that but they always acted prim and proper in front of ordinary disciples only!”

Huang Yueli was rather curious, “Then what was the final conclusion of the meeting? How was the quota allocated eventually?”

Luo Jiyun replied, “The Elders each stood their own grounds, assuming that they had contributed the greatest to the Sect and all wanted a few more places! Moreover they mentioned that if they didn’t obtain a satisfactory amount of quota, they would reject giving a hand at the time when the mystic region opens up. By then, everyone would not be able to go! Simply too much!”

He felt indignant at the injustice as he spoke whereas Huang Yueli and Li Moying were totally used to this.

So what if they were ninth stage realm practitioners? So what if they were Elders from a large Sect? In front of benefits, no one would possibly give way as their ugly faces showed so they were long used to seeing this!

Luo Jiyun continued, “Luckily Master finally thought of an idea. Other than the ten quota which Eldest Senior Brother requested for and must be given, the remaining sixty quota must be given according to certification of ability. Which means, the Sect will hold a tournament seven days later. All of the disciples in the Sect, regardless of whether they are direct disciples or not, are all allowed to take part. However only those placed in the top sixty will be allowed to get a quota to enter the ancient mystic region!”

Huang Yueli laughed as she said, “Sect Master Murong is after all someone who had been a Sect Master for many years. He indeed has ideas so in this way, the other Elders have no way to oppose right?”

“Isn’t that so? Elder Wang’s disciples under his wings aren’t really that strong in terms of ability so this proposal is very disadvantageous to him but he simply couldn’t find any reason to oppose, so he was so infuriated that he left directly on the spot!”

Seeing the both of them in such speculative talk, Li Moying was watching from the side as he uncontrollably felt a little jealous.

He stretched out his hand and locked onto Huang Yueli’s arm as he carried her from the back, “All these are basically rubbish on the scramble for power and profit so there’s nothing much to listen to.”

Saying that he turned his head around to look at Luo Jiyun, “Fifth Junior Brother, from what you narrated, it means that you must take part in the tournament seven days later so why are you not returning back to cultivate?”

Luo Jiyun didn’t realise that Li Moying was jealous as he gave a complacent laugh when he heard what Li Moying said.

“Eldest Senior Brother, it’s not as if you don’t know! My current ability among the younger generation of the Sect is of no problem to get into the top ten. How could I not get a quota for myself?”

Li Moying’s face turned darker, “Then what will happen after you enter the mystic region? The ancient mystic region is filled with danger and just based on your fifth stage realm cultivation, you can’t even defeat your sister-in-law. What happens if you meet with danger?”

Luo Jiyun then detected that Li Moying’s tone wasn’t quite right.

“Ughh, this…”

Huang Yueli burst out in laughter.

“Junior Brother Luo, thank you for telling us these today. I have something on with your Eldest Senior Brother so do on back first! If there’s any new news, remember to let us know!”

Luo Jiyun looked at Li Moying’s hand which was clasped tightly on Huang Yueli’s waist then looked at his evidently unpleasant expression when he finally got it.

He wiped the cold sweat on his forehead as he gave an agreeable response and immediately slipped away.
