Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1069: Chapter 645: Simulator Update

”Totem! The totem has lit up!”

Hoopa looked at the Thousand Cosmos Bracelet in shock.

This thing usually only lights up when the residents of the Valley of Creation use their power, but Grings clearly wasn’t making any moves right now.

What was the situation?

The expressions of Balza and Mei Yali were similar to Hoopa’s.

The two quickly turned their heads to look at Baimu, who was standing still, slightly bewildered, then quickly recovered and asked, ”What’s going on?”

Not because of him?

Mei Yali turned back to look at Grings, ”Great-grandfather—”

”Shh.”

Grings’ lips curled into a gentle smile, and he said softly, ”The Valley of Creation is welcoming guests. Listen carefully; their voices require your heart to truly perceive.”

Whoosh—

An unnamed wind swept by.

The treetops not far away rustled, golden wheat fields swayed with the wind, the river under the bridge flowed with a gurgling sound, Fletchling chirped as they flew over the heads of several people, and many Wild Pokémon peeked out curiously.

Peaceful, harmonious.

A warm atmosphere filled everyone’s hearts.

Balza and Mei Yali both raised a hand, colorful light bands rising from their palms to form vortexes, akin to the rhythm of life.

”Nature... so lively!”

”An unprecedented feeling!”

They looked at each other, surprised and delighted.

Though the power of the Valley of Creation originates from Arceus, its essence aligns with nature to gain corresponding strength. With practice, one can even directly manipulate Arceus’ Source of Life — the Attribute Stone Tablet.

The Vase of Punishment was created by Grings using the attributes of water, fire, and ground from the Source of Life.

When necessary, one can also borrow the power of Pokémon attributes.

Hoopa circled around the light band in their hands, shouting excitedly, ”Amazing! Amazing! Hoopa felt it too!”

”Alright, let’s not neglect our guests.”

Grings patted the siblings on the shoulder and said to Hoopa, ”You too. When guests are invited, we as hosts must take good care of them.”

”Good care?”

Hoopa tilted its head, suddenly wanting to use the Golden Ring to summon something, but then realized Grings was nearby and sheepishly gave up.

It dared not play tricks in front of this person.

Balza and Mei Yali also came to their senses, slightly embarrassed, and said, ”Sorry, Baimu, it was unexpected...”

”It’s okay. We’re all so familiar; it’s unnecessary to talk about these things.”

Baimu waved his hand.

The group then headed towards the town.

But during the walk, he frequently glanced at the familiar Chinese characters in the corner of his vision—

’Simulator updating...’

Indeed.

When the Thousand Cosmos Bracelet lit up, the originally tiny rice-grain-sized simulator in the corner of the vision suddenly popped out, indicating he had won the regional conference and met the update conditions.

Then it automatically began the update.

This greatly surprised Baimu.

Although everything in the Pokémon World basically revolves around Arceus, the simulator being related to that one as well!

Why?

Why did that one not only make him traverse but also give him the simulator, such a convenient Pokémon cultivating cheat?

Is it necessary for him to save the world?

Baimu recalled the animation’s plot, and with Ash Ketchum around, it didn’t seem like there was much for him to do!

Freeing Ore?

But to be honest, that matter didn’t particularly concern him either. The main efforts were by the Rescue Organization, Liu Ge, Flop, Shanren, and Shanren’s father, who had planned for many years?

He was just one of the members.

Baimu’s thoughts wandered, then he looked forward to the simulator’s update and what it would bring. Could it increase the probability of rare talents?

That would be great!

The more Orange Talents, the higher the rewards, and his paper data would be invincible even sooner. When everyone reached Level 90, what harm was there in challenging Ash Ketchum and Pikachu, closely bonded?

”Lord Grings!”

”Grings!”

”Mei Yali has returned! And Hoopa! Come quickly; Grandma has freshly made donuts!”

”Balza, do you have guests? Wow! What a handsome young man!”

”That person... is it Baimu?”

Various voices suddenly rang out.

Baimu came back to himself, realizing they had entered the town, seeing many Mediterranean-clad men, women, young and old, among whom several were similar in age to the siblings, looking over with bright eyes.

From the slightly familiar appearances of a few people, he judged that they were the siblings’ childhood playmates.

”Kepu! Pete! Luca!”

Mei Yali ran over excitedly, grabbing the hand of one of the girls, ”Why did you come back? Didn’t everyone go out for training?”

Back then, not only the siblings left the Valley of Creation, but a few friends also coincidentally chose to go out for training.

No trace of them was seen until recently!

”It’s almost a new year, so we’re of course coming back to take a look.”

Luca said casually, then excitedly held her hand tightly, whispered, ”That’s Baimu, right? I didn’t see wrong, right?”

Seeing Luca like this, Mei Yali knew she was also a fan of Baimu, smiled, and nodded, ”You certainly didn’t see wrong!”

”It really is him! But how could he be in Carlos, having just won the conference yesterday—ah! Hoopa!” said the tall and slim boy named Kepu in surprise.

Beside him, the chubby Pete raised his fist, growling fiercely, ”I really want to battle him! Though I would surely lose!”

Mei Yali said with amusement, ”Why don’t you directly challenge him? He’ll definitely agree.”

”Really?”

The two guys’ eyes sparkled, their heads leaning close.

Mei Yali leaned back, raising a hand, ”Of course it’s true! Stay calm!”
