Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 485: Chapter 377: Bomb-Making Talent

Furthermore, Hara now had a full team of six Pokémon, rather than just two.

Although the female student had grown significantly, she was still forced into a disadvantage when facing Hara’s full team. The lack of a reverse attribute prevented her from triggering the Three-word Truth talent.

In the end.

The female student won with difficulty, relying on the ”Supersonic Dive Bombing” to turn the tide. But using the Z-Move at the start made her quite anxious—

After the first round ended, Tapu Bulu suddenly appeared, recharging the female student’s Z-Power Bracelet and healing her Pokémon.

”You learned from the Kings of the Islands that in every battle of the grand trial, you have the chance to use a Z-Move once, and Tapu Bulu will do its best to restore your Pokémon’s condition.”

This was indeed great news, relieving the female student.

Continuing to fight in the current state, she couldn’t imagine how she could win.

Baimu felt the same; he almost thought the grand trial was even more exaggerated than the League Conference. Fortunately, it wasn’t.

Round Two.

The female student faced Grandpa Kaqi from Akala Island. In the reverse attribute state, the Three-word Truth successfully triggered, so even though the Pokémon were fighting dangerously, their condition improved.

She mastered the Three-word Truth, and even Kaqi’s Charizard eventually fell before Decidueye’s Ghost Z ”Endless Dark Night’s Temptation.”

On to the third round.

Modan from Ula Ula Island.

Again, it was a reverse attribute battle, and it was also difficult. Although the Pokémon recovered somewhat physically, their mental state didn’t quickly recover.

The female student had to let Decidueye rest temporarily and made Mimikyu the main force against Modan’s ace, Alolan Persian, using its exclusive Z—

”Intimate Chaos”!

Without much visual spectacle, the form of Intimate Chaos was Mimikyu enlarging the cloth under it to cover Alolan Persian, fiercely punching this evil attribute opponent!

In the end, she managed a narrow victory.

Why was it a narrow victory?

Because most of the female student’s Pokémon had reached their mental limits, only Decidueye and Mimikyu retained some fighting ability, while the others became drowsy as soon as they entered the field, with their condition dropping to the lowest point.

”You realize that your preparation is still insufficient, or rather you’re too reliant on Decidueye and Mimikyu, having failed to strengthen the entire team.”

Did you set a FLAG from the beginning?

But Baimu actually thought the same, not only because the attribute consistency couldn’t trigger the Three-word Truth; it was evident that the remaining Pokémon lacked strength.

Unfortunately, this was something you wouldn’t know until you fought once; otherwise, the female student would never have rushed into battle like this.

Knowing there’s no way to turn things around, the female student used Decidueye’s exclusive Z— ”Sky-covering Shadow Arrow.”

Ending her first grand trial.

Baimu sighed and started watching the narration.

”You lost to the King of the Island, Sovu, but you’re not discouraged because you know the direction to work towards next.”

”The news of you defeating three Kings of the Island quickly reached Melemele Island, where Principal Da Mu believed you were an outstanding student worthy of being recorded in the school’s history.”

”Looking at the companions you met during the Island Pilgrimage, you thought of those Z Pure Crystals you hadn’t yet obtained, showing a broad smile.”

”Simulation complete.”

The light screen disappeared.

”It really was a year’s worth of content, sigh...”

Baimu took out his phone to search for those who had completed the Alola Islands pilgrimage, but Alola had done an excellent job of confidentiality in this regard, so he had to use Porygon to search through past news.

Still found nothing.

Could this be the only blue simulation object whose true identity he couldn’t uncover?

Regretful, regretful.

He looked at the simulation rewards.

”Fixed Reward: Move Tutor ×3 (can specify attribute)”

”Fixed Reward: Female student’s multifunctional bomb making—simulation showed complete coverage (can be reviewed repeatedly)”

...

”Choose Reward Option 1: Upgrade any Pokémon by three levels (below lv70)”

”Choose Reward Option 2: Clue for a catchable Pokémon (can specify attribute, excellent)”

”Choose Reward Option 3: Skill—Brave Bird Assault (available for Pokémon to learn)”

”Choose Reward Option 4: Retain [Hot-blooded Youth] talent for the next simulation”

Choose three out of four optional rewards.

What gave Baimu a slight surprise was that all the bombs the female student used in the simulation could be learned—

Wait.

Could I actually use these handmade bombs?

Although back in Pyrite Town, I always enjoyed using things like flash grenades and smoke bullets.

Hmm.

Perhaps it’s very suitable for me!

Baimu nodded with a peculiar expression.
