Peerless Martial God

The news that Lin Feng had come back was spreading everywhere in the imperial palace and the Yangzhou City.

There were two girls in the king’s palace. One of them was the one Lin Feng had planned on marrying back during Xue Yue’s fall, Duan Xin Ye. She was the one who had suffered the most from the war.

On the day of her wedding, which was supposed to be the most beautiful day of her life, a tragic war had claimed so many lives.

Everything happened because of her evil family members who wanted to kill her lover, Lin Feng… Duan Wu Ya, Duan Wu Dao, her father and her uncle…. The results had been tragic.

A sea of blood had spilled in Xue Yue when Lin Feng turned into a demon and ever since, Xin Ye has wondered where her lover left to. She had even thought about killing herself, however, she hadn’t given up and held hope that her man would come back.

Yue Meng He and Lin Hai never blamed her either, they even treated her as their own. They allowed her to live in the palace as she was the king’s wife.

However…

Duan Xin Ye was sitting next to a lake and staring at the water. While remembering those times she had spent with Lin Feng, including when they made love, she was giggling. Those times were the best memories of her life. She could also remember when Lin Feng wasn’t on her side, she used to draw his portrait. She had the feeling that it had all been a dream.

“Dong!” A stone crashed onto the surface of the water making it undulate all around. “Sister, Lin Feng will come back, you should trust me!” Xiao Ya said looking excited. Xiao Ya looked more mature than before and now she could even cheer people up.

“I know, he will.” whispered Duan Xin Ye. She sounded like she was trying to put on a brave face.

Not far behind them, Lin Feng saw Duan Xin Ye’s beautiful silhouette. He felt guilty about so many things.

After he had turned into a demon, he left and Duan Xin Ye alone, and up until now she had been waiting for him.

Lin Feng slowly walked towards them and Xiao Ya seemed to sense him. She turned her head around and was astonished. Her mouth was wide open and Lin Feng was smiling at her but at the same time he put his finger on his mouth to tell her to remain silent. Xiao Ya nodded and turned around again.

Lin Feng walked towards Duan Xin Ye and sat down next to her. She was still blankly staring at the water lost in thought, “I know he will come back. ”

Lin Feng slowly stretched his hand and put his arm around Duan Xin Ye’s waist. She turned her head and froze, she just stared at him blankly.

She exhaled twice, it felt like a thousand years had passed. Lin Feng even had wrinkles under his eyes, of which his eyes looked so deep.

She blankly stared at him for a while, she couldn’t handle it anymore, she just threw herself in his arms. She was stroking his back with her small hand. At that moment, she didn’t look like an aristocrat, she started crying like a baby.

Lin Feng held her tightly and caressed her hand.

“Lin Feng! I knew that you would come back!” said Xiao Ya, still smiling. She looked pure and innocent, her smile was magnificent and resplendent.

“Yes, I came back. Everything will be fine from now on.” said Lin Feng. Duan Xin Ye moved back and looked at Lin Feng in a beautiful way.

“Alright, Xin Ye, let’s go and see my parents.” said Lin Feng. However, she started shaking when she heard him.

“What’s wrong?” said Lin Feng when he saw the way she was reacting. It didn’t look good.

“Nothing. Your parents went away to look for you so they won’t come back for a while.” said Duan Xin Ye, holder her smile.

Lin Feng frowned and looked at Duan Xin Ye, “Xin Ye, you’re lying. ”

“I’m not, really, they really left to look for you.” said Duan Xin Ye while looking at Lin Feng.

Lin Feng remained silent for a while.

“Lin Feng came back?” at that moment, Lin Feng turned his head around and saw a silhouette.

It was a white-haired old man who he looked very old and weak, his Qi was particularly weak as if he had been sick.

Lin Feng was astonished as he stared at him. He then asked, “What’s going on? What on Earth is going on? ”

The old man used to be the head of the Yue Clan in the past. He used to be the head of one of the strongest clans in Xue Yue. Now, he was old and weak. He didn’t even have the Qi of a cultivator anymore. His cultivation was crippled. Surprisingly, Yue Qing Shan’s cultivation had been crippled.

“Nothing. It’s good that you came back, it’s good.” said Yue Qing Shan who didn’t sound arrogant nor strong like in the past. He had become an ordinary old man, and an ordinary grandfather.

Lin Feng was shocked and felt sad, his lips moved as he said, “Grandpa… ”

Yue Qing Shan suddenly looked very happy when Lin Feng said that, it was almost as if he had become younger by several years.

“Good, good.” It almost seemed like tears were going to appear in his eyes.

Back on that day, Yue Qing Shan had seen his beloved daughter get attacked and became furious, he had even participated in the war as well. He had spent so many years raising Yue Tian Ming hoping to prove to his daughter that he had done the right thing. However, in the end, no matter what, Duan Ren Huang was unwilling to let them off. Nobody knew about Yue Tian Ming, however, many people knew about Lin Feng and his extraordinary achievements. He was proud of Lin Feng but he felt guilty as well.

Because of what had happened in the past, he was never able to acknowledge Lin Feng as his grandson. But now, Lin Feng had already surpassed his father and his grandfather.

“Grandpa, where are mom and dad?” asked Lin Feng. Suddenly, Duan Xin Ye looked extremely nervous as her entire body was covered with an ice-cold sweat.

Yue Qing Shan also looked to be hiding something. That question seemed very difficult to answer, “Your mom’s cultivation level is at the top of the Xuan Qi layer but she reached a bottleneck, therefore your dad took her away for a while, to see if he can’t help her break through to the Tian Qi layer. ”

“Bzzzzzz……. ”

Lin Feng was feeling more and more uncomfortable.

“You’re all lying. Tell me where my parents went! And who crippled your cultivation?” Lin Feng was releasing some ice-cold energies now.

“Xin Ye, tell me now.” said Lin Feng while looking at Duan Xin Ye. Her eyes were tearing as she kept shaking her head.

“Lin Feng, don’t be too hard on Xin Ye, she’s suffered enough.” said Yue Qing Shan. Lin Feng turned his head.

“Ok grandpa, then you tell me what has happened?! ”

“We cannot tell you.” said Yue Qing Shan whose heart was pounding.

“Lin Feng, stop asking. They’re not telling you because they care about you.” said Xiao Ya. Lin Feng glanced at them as terrifying energies of the Tian Qi layer washed over them all.

A terrifying energy of the Tian Qi layer!

Lin Feng had broken through to the Tian Qi layer!

He was so young and had already broken through to the Tian Qi layer!
