Chapter 1055: Chapter 1055: Three Factions Pursuit

Whoosh!

Hearing Robert’s words, Shi Yanran’s face immediately changed, and she shouted fiercely, ”You bastard, didn’t you say you’d let them all go?”

”Hmph, all of this was just to deceive you. Originally, I planned to kill them all after tonight, but now if I die, those dozens of people should get ready to join me in death,” Robert said, his face twisted as he roared with a vicious look in his eyes.

”You bastard! You’re inhuman!”

Shi Yanran cursed angrily, her body rushing towards Robert.

”Yan Ran, don’t be impulsive!”

Ye Luo hugged Shi Yanran and then stared coldly at Robert.

”Release them immediately, and I might spare your life.”

Ye Luo watched Robert with a cold gaze.

”No way. If I release them, then I’m pretty sure I’m a dead man. I will only release them once I’ve made it completely out,” Robert roared with a twisted face.

”What if you don’t release them?”

Ye Luo stared coldly at Robert.

”You have no choice, either kill me and let those dozens of people be buried with me, or let me go!” Robert said with a resolute look on his face.

”You...”

Anger flashed through Ye Luo’s eyes, and he was about to act when Shi Yanran pulled him back.

”Ye Luo, no, let him go. Because of me, many people have already died. I can’t let those dozens of people from my remaining team die innocently for me. If that happens, I will live in guilt for the rest of my life,” Shi Yanran pleaded with Ye Luo, tears shimmering in her eyes.

”Fine, I’ll let him go today!”

Ye Luo nodded, giving Robert a glance: ”I’m letting you go now, but if you haven’t released them by tomorrow, I guarantee you will die. No matter where you hide or how many people protect you, if I want to kill you, you’ll only have one path to death.”

Looking at Ye Luo’s piercingly cold eyes, Robert’s body trembled, his eyes filled with a deeply resentful and vicious expression.

After that, Ye Luo swiftly left the place with Shi Yanran and Feng Tian, among others. His Clairvoyant Eye had already detected Ability Alliance powerhouses rushing over from thousands of meters away; they could only decide to evacuate first.

Less than a minute after Ye Luo and the others left, a group of Ability Alliance experts burst in. Their expressions changed upon seeing the scene inside the villa.

Especially upon seeing the pitiful state of Robert, their expressions were all shaken.

”Young Master, how are you?”

Several Ability Alliance experts rushed over, looking at Robert with anxious and worried expressions.

”Contact my father!”

Robert said feebly, then passed out completely.

”Quickly notify the master!”

The Ability Alliance experts hurriedly spoke.

Half an hour later, in the highest-class hospital room in Los Angeles, Robert lay on the bed, his body wrapped in bandages, his complexion deathly pale.

At that moment, the hospital room was filled with Ability Alliance experts, all of them comparable to the top powerhouses of the Hua Yuan Realm and all Ability Users.

At this time, a man in a black robe, with white hair, a grim face, and looking nearly fifty years old walked in.

An almost suffocating aura emanated from him. It was Luo Fukete, the Alliance Hierarch of the Ability Alliance, one of the top powerhouses in Country M, and one of the most influential and powerful individuals in the entire Country M.

”Father!”

Seeing his father appear, Robert immediately called out.

Luo Fukete’s eyes swept over Robert’s body, his gaze dark as still waters, and the aura emanating from his body seemed to solidify the air around them. Everyone present felt an overwhelmingly oppressive atmosphere, pierced with a bone-chilling coldness.

”Rest assured, I will find the person who hurt you and make him wish he were dead, crushing his bones to dust!”

Luo Fukete’s voice was harsh and piercing as he spoke.

”Immediately notify everyone in the Ability Alliance to lock down all exits from Los Angeles. No one from Huaxia is allowed to leave. You must find them as soon as possible, or you know the consequences!”

Luo Fukete coldly ordered, his eyes flashing with an icy chill.

”Yes, Master!”

The group of Ability Alliance experts nodded repeatedly before they started making arrangements.

Soon, the entire city of Los Angeles was under strict lockdown. The Tulip Family and the Ability Alliance, the two largest forces in Country M, were searching the entire city for Ye Luo and his companions, a massive undertaking that left many unaware citizens clueless about what was happening.

After returning Shi Yanran to their arranged accommodation by the special security bureau, Ai Fei came out to meet them.

”You’re quite something, actually rescuing her. But what did you do to Robert?”

Ai Fei asked, looking at Ye Luo.

”Wrecked. If it weren’t for the dozens of lives he held in his hands, he would be dead by now.”

Ye Luo said sharply.

Ai Fei’s brows furrowed slightly as she said, ”This is troublesome. You’ve crippled him, and the Ability Alliance won’t let this go lightly. The organization has a huge influence and has rallied all the special ability users in Country M.”

”Especially since Robert’s father is rumored to be a legendary multi-special ability user with an extremely high level of power. Your situation is now even more dangerous.”

”When the enemy advances, we defend; when water rises, we build a dam against it!”

Ye Luo said with an extremely calm expression, uttering these eight words.

”Ye Luo, who is this?”

At this moment, Shi Yanran’s gaze shifted to Ai Fei with a trace of curiosity.

”Oh, this is Miss Ai Fei from the Tulip Family. Thanks to her help, I was able to find you in time,”

Ye Luo explained.

”Thank you!”

Shi Yanran said, looking at Ai Fei with gratitude.

”You’re welcome. Ye Luo once saved me as well, so I am merely repaying the favor. I do envy you for having a boyfriend who is willing to risk everything for you,”

Shi Yanran’s cheeks turned a faint red, her expression a mix of shyness and gratitude.

”Team Leader Ye!”

At that moment, Huang De approached quickly, his expression grave.

”What’s going on?”

Ye Luo asked, looking at Huang De.

”Team Leader Ye, all of Los Angeles’s air, land, and sea routes have been sealed. No Huaxia person is allowed to leave the city, and both the Tulip Family and Ability Alliance have begun a citywide manhunt for your group. Even the Dark Council’s local Chapter in Country M has started searching for you secretly.”

”Air, land, and sea routes all sealed, forbidding any Huaxia person from leaving... their power is indeed formidable!”

”Many officials in the Government of Country M have strong ties with the Tulip Family and the Ability Alliance, so this isn’t surprising,”

Ai Fei said indifferently.

”But what is this Dark Council? I haven’t offended them, have I?”

Ye Luo said, frowning tightly.

”The man I was supposed to marry, More, is the son of the Grand Elder of the Dark Council,”

Ai Fei explained.
