Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 477: Chapter 477: Shouting from the Mountain Top_1

Qin Yuru’s eyes narrowed slightly, and her expression tensed subtly.

”No matter what, Qin Group is the lifetime effort of my grandfather, and absolutely nothing can go wrong. Get those shareholders to meet with me separately. At this time, we must first stabilize the internal affairs of Qin Group, and absolutely nothing can go amiss,” Qin Yuru said with a sharp glint in her eyes, her voice firm.

”Yes, President,” Xiang Tiandong nodded.

After leaving Ling Corporation, Ye Luo wandered the streets aimlessly, feeling somewhat lost about the future. His original purpose for descending the mountain had been to become the fiancé of Ling Qingya, but now this mission had been forcibly suspended, leaving him at a loss of what to do next.

Suddenly, Ye Luo caught a whiff of a fragrant breeze and a quick glance revealed Liu Shiyun dressed in a white T-shirt and jeans, her appearance somewhat casual and youthful. Her beautiful face, combined with her calm and elegant demeanor, gave off an otherworldly vibe.

”Liu, why are you here?”

Seeing the first woman he met after coming down the mountain, Ye Luo managed a forced smile at the corner of his mouth.

”Don’t call me sister anymore, just call me Shiyun. I’m only a few years older than you; you’re practically making me feel old,” Liu Shiyun said with a smile, then fixed her gaze on Ye Luo, ”You seem to be in a bad mood.”

”You know about it, don’t you,” Ye Luo said with a hint of despondency.

”Even though I don’t know exactly what happened between you and Miss Ling, no matter what, I hope you can perk up a bit. I came here today to take you to a place,” Liu Shiyun told Ye Luo.

”What place?”

”You’ll know when we get there.”

Liu Shiyun left it at that, enticing Ye Luo into her car, which headed straight towards the outskirts of Zhonghai. The car soon stopped at the foot of a large mountain in the countryside.

”So this is where you brought me,” Ye Luo said, looking at the mountain in front of him, somewhat surprised.

”That’s right, what we’re going to do is climb the mountain,” Liu Shiyun said with a smile. Then she started walking toward the mountain, with Ye Luo, though unsure what Liu Shiyun intended, following behind her.

Liu Shiyun often seemed delicate and dainty, every bit the lady, but to Ye Luo’s surprise, she climbed the mountain, which although not very tall—at least five or six hundred meters—and rather steep, with ease, reaching the summit by herself.

”I didn’t expect you to be so capable. You climbed such a tall mountain without getting tired at all,” Ye Luo said, standing on the summit and looking at Liu Shiyun without hiding his admiration.

”I used to climb mountains often, so I’m used to it,” Liu Shiyun said. She made her way to the very peak of the mountain, and before them was a bottomless cliff, but Liu Shiyun showed no fear.

Ah!!!

Liu Shiyun let out a cry that echoed long in the mountain air and drifted far away.

”What are you doing?” Ye Luo approached, looking puzzled at Liu Shiyun.

”Whenever I encountered difficult situations or felt unhappy in the past, I would come here and shout out loud. It was a way for me to vent all my emotions and troubles,” she explained.

”After shouting, I would feel much lighter and more relaxed, and my mood would improve. So I brought you here today to let you vent properly. Whatever dissatisfaction and troubles you have in your heart, you can shout them out.”

Liu Shiyun looked at Ye Luo with a smile on her face.

”Ah!!!”

Liu Shiyun once again let out a shout toward the vast sky, her voice echoing in her ears. Bursts of breeze swept by, causing Liu Shiyun’s hair to dance in the air, a moment of sheer beauty.

”Let’s try it together!” Liu Shiyun said, looking at Ye Luo.

Ye Luo smiled, stood beside Liu Shiyun, and suddenly yelled out.

Ah—

The sound, like thunder, reverberated across the mountain peak. With that shout, Ye Luo really felt a great relief in his heart. Then he shouted several more times, allowing his entire being to relax, casting aside all the unhappiness in his heart.

The fair and pure face of Liu Shiyun revealed a radiant smile, her gaze fixed on Ye Luo.

Just then, a gust of cold wind blew over the mountaintop. Liu Shiyun shivered and, with a tremble, suddenly slipped and fell towards the cliff below, screaming.

Ye Luo’s face changed color, his body moved, and he reached out with one hand, catching Liu Shiyun’s hand like lightning. She dangled off the cliff, held by one hand by Ye Luo; otherwise, she would have fallen right into it.

Then, using the strength in his hand, Ye Luo yanked her up sharply, pulling Liu Shiyun back up due to inertia.

Liu Shiyun’s body fell into Ye Luo’s arms, her face pressed directly against Ye Luo’s, and their lips met in a kiss.

For a moment, both of them were stunned, their eyes wide open, staring at each other, speechless.

At the desolate mountaintop, a man and a woman embraced and kissed passionately—an almost picturesque scene.

However, they both quickly came to their senses and stepped back.

Liu Shiyun covered her lips, her face slightly flushed.

Ye Luo was even more embarrassed, somewhat at a loss, with a flickering look in his eyes.

”You’re injured!”

Suddenly, Ye Luo noticed blood flowing from Liu Shiyun’s calf. Her jeans had been torn, and his face changed.

After hearing Ye Luo’s words, Liu Shiyun realized that her leg had been injured, likely from scraping against the rocky cliff as she fell.

”Sit down here.” Ye Luo quickly had Liu Shiyun sit on a rock, then he lifted her injured leg and tore open the calf area of her jeans. Several cuts on her originally white and smooth calf were bleeding continuously.

Ye Luo took out a silver needle and pricked her calf, stopping the bleeding. Then, he covered the wound with one hand and circulated the Nine Yang Mystic Art, channeling Nine Yang True Qi to aid in healing the wound. Soon, with the help of the Nine Yang True Qi, the cuts slowly scabbed over.

Throughout this process, Liu Shiyun gazed at Ye Luo with tender eyes full of softness.

”There, it’s all taken care of now,” said Ye Luo, having treated Liu Shiyun’s wound. His gaze met hers, only to find Liu Shiyun’s eyes fixed on him, an unnatural expression on her face.

”Shiyun, are you okay?” Ye Luo asked.

”Oh, it’s nothing. Now that we’re done venting, let’s head back,” Liu Shiyun responded. Another cold breeze blew by, making her shiver slightly.

Seeing this, Ye Luo immediately took off his coat and draped it over Liu Shiyun.
