Peerless Divine Doctor

Upon entering Mei Yue Company, Ye Luo found that all the employees appeared to be very busy, and their faces all seemed rather grim.

He arrived outside Luo Jingxuan’s office and directly opened the door and went in. Inside the office, Luo Jingxuan and Yan Ling were sitting together, discussing something. At the sound of the door, they both looked over, and expressions of joy appeared on their faces upon seeing Ye Luo.

”You little rascal, you finally know to come back. I thought you had forgotten about me and your aunt.”

Yan Ling said to Ye Luo with a somewhat resentful look in her eyes, the expression reminiscent of a lovelorn woman, which made Ye Luo’s face turn slightly awkward.

”You’re back.”

Luo Jingxuan’s face remained comparatively calm as she looked at Ye Luo, but her demeanor visibly relaxed. However, the dark circles under her heavy eyes and her haggard complexion still betrayed how tired she had been lately.

Ye Luo first addressed Yan Ling, ”Sister Yan, don’t worry. I would never forget you two great beauties.”

Then Ye Luo turned to Luo Jingxuan and said, ”Your dark circles are serious, and you look so worn out. Haven’t you been resting well these days?”

”Jingxuan has been busy until eleven or twelve o’clock at night because of Mei Yue Company’s issues. Especially after those medicine suppliers breached their contracts and refused to provide us with supplies, she has been so busy she almost collapsed,” Yan Ling glanced at Luo Jingxuan and said.

Ye Luo looked at Luo Jingxuan with some distress, while she said to Ye Luo, ”Don’t worry, I know my own body, it’s nothing serious. What’s most important right now is Mei Yue’s business.”

”First, tell me exactly what’s the situation now?” Ye Luo asked.

”All the medicine suppliers that had signed contracts with us have defaulted and refused to supply us with any more ingredients. These last two days, we’ve contacted medicine companies and merchants in Zhonghai and several other cities, but without exception, all of them have rejected us.”

Yan Ling elaborated, ”It’s as if they all conspired together to cut off all our supply channels. Now without ingredients, our factory has been forced to shut down. Just as our new products were about to officially hit the market, we find ourselves without much inventory. Even if we launch and promote it, it will be of no use.”

”It seems that someone is targeting Mei Yue Company behind the scenes,” Ye Luo remarked gravely.

”I’ve looked into it. Although I’m not entirely sure, the only one capable of obstructing the launch of our products and having the power to cut off our supply of ingredients is the Wang Group,” Luo Jingxuan stated with a solemn face.

”Wang Quan!” Ye Luo’s expression darkened as he coldly spat out two words.

”This Wang Family is really despicable,” Yan Ling frowned deeply.

”I will go to them,” Ye Luo stated directly.

”Not yet,”

Luo Jingxuan shook her head, ”There’s still one medicine company we haven’t approached, which is the largest in Zhonghai – Ding Pharmaceutical Company. Its status and influence are no less than that of Wang’s. Perhaps there is still a chance if we turn to them. I’ve managed to find out the whereabouts of the president of Ding Pharmaceutical, and I’m planning to meet him.”

”I’ll accompany you,” Ye Luo said, looking towards Luo Jingxuan, who pondered for a few seconds before nodding her head.

Zhonghai, Jinhao Grand Hotel.

Outside a luxurious private room, Ye Luo and Luo Jingxuan appeared, with the president of Ding Pharmaceutical inside.

However, there were two bodyguards in suits standing outside the private room.

”Hello, I am Luo Jingxuan, the president of Mei Yue Company. I would like to speak with your President Wan about a business deal,” Luo Jingxuan said to the two bodyguards.

”Sorry, but President Wan is dining with guests at the moment and is not available to meet with anyone else. Please leave,” one of the bodyguards said indifferently.

”This... Alright.” Luo Jingxuan’s expression was somewhat helpless.

At that moment, Ye Luo suddenly swung his hands out, chopping directly at the necks of the two bodyguards, knocking them out cold.

”Ye Luo, you...” Luo Jingxuan’s face showed shock.

”Let’s go in, that guy having dinner with the CEO of Ding Medicine is Wang Quan,” Ye Luo said indifferently, while Luo Jingxuan’s expression changed dramatically.

Bang!

Ye Luo kicked open the door to the private room, and the two of them walked straight in.

Inside the private room was a large round table where two middle-aged men sat drinking and chatting. One of them was Wang Quan, and the other, a bald man, was clearly the CEO of Ding Medicine Group, Wan Da.

The two were enjoying their drinks when they were startled by the door bursting open. Their gaze shifted to the young man and woman who walked in, and upon seeing them, Wang Quan’s expression hardened, and a trace of surprise flickered in his eyes.

”Who are you? So barbaric, what do you want to do?”

Wan Da didn’t recognize the pair and immediately shouted with a trace of anger in his eyes.

Luo Jingxuan quickly stepped forward and said, ”Hello, CEO Wan, I am Luo Jingxuan, the president of Mei Yue Company. I am here because...”

”No need to say more, I don’t care who you are. Bursting in so barbarically and disrupting my meal has ruined my mood. Leave immediately, and in the future, Ding Medicine will have no dealings with you,” Wan Da said angrily.

A playful expression appeared at the corner of Wang Quan’s mouth as he watched silently.

Luo Jingxuan was about to speak again, but Ye Luo stopped her.

Ye Luo walked straight up to the table, glanced coolly at Wang Quan, and said, ”Chairman Wang, long time no see.”

”Is there something you want?”

Wang Quan looked at Ye Luo, a cold light flashing in his eyes.

”Do you and Wang know each other?” Wan Da asked, looking at them in surprise.

”You could say that. This man has injured my son several times,” Wang Quan said coldly.

”You father and son really can’t stay out of trouble, can you? So, you’re that eager to ruin Mei Yue Company? First, by stealing formulas, and now by cutting off Mei Yue’s supply of medicinal materials. You have quite the repertoire,” Ye Luo said, his gaze fixed coldly on Wang Quan.

Wang Quan replied calmly, ”I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

”Really? I’ll make you understand,” Ye Luo stated.

As he spoke, Ye Luo picked up a bottle of red wine from the table and smashed it straight onto Wang Quan’s head.

With a loud crash, the bottle shattered, splashing wine and shards of glass everywhere, and Wang Quan screamed in agony as blood streamed down from his head.

This scene unfolded so suddenly that not only was Wang Quan himself taken by surprise, but even Luo Jingxuan had not expected Ye Luo to act this way, and Wan Da beside them was equally shocked.

”Do you now understand what I’m talking about?” Ye Luo dusted off his hands, his gaze coldly fixed on Wang Quan.

”You... you...” Wang Quan covered his head with one hand, pointing at Ye Luo with the other, his eyes filled with anger and pain.
