Chapter 36: Chapter 36: Luffy vs. Arlong!

If I keep running, I’ll be caught sooner or later.

Thinking this, Usopp looked around for a place to hide.

Then!

Usopp saw some bushes not far away.

He jumped in.

Hatchan ran to this place and stopped, looking all around, but he couldn’t find Usopp anywhere, and he was getting angry.

...

Usopp had calmed down, and Zoro was already fighting Hatchan.

Even though Hatchan is the weakest fighter here,

But!

Because Zoro was injured by Mihawk not long ago, he was struggling to fight Hatchan for a while.

Three-sword style against eight-sword style!

It felt like a chaotic dance of monsters.

Zoro originally thought Hatchan was a swordsman expert who didn’t know much about the world.

But now it seems!

He’s just a butcher swinging knives wildly.

But Zoro’s stomach was injured, so he couldn’t use his strength, and could only use fancy swordsmanship to block Hatchan’s wild dance of eight swords.

Hatchan’s speed was so fast it was almost a blur.

Zoro barely coped with his injured body, and looking at the swordsmanship that had no skill at all, anger appeared in Zoro’s eyes.

”Hey, please fight properly.”

”Don’t be like an octopus!”

Hearing this!

Hatchan was also a little angry.

”You’re the one who’s not fighting properly, why are you blaming others!”

As soon as he finished speaking!

Hatchan’s attack speed increased.

Zoro had to speed up too.

But moving his wound so often made Zoro feel very painful.

He didn’t know when!

His wound would break open.

Zoro was struggling to deal with Hatchan’s attacks.

And Sanji’s fight with Kuro had just begun.

So the fighting was!

Relatively slow.

Sanji kicked again and again, but this level of attack couldn’t hurt Kuro.

But Sanji’s kicks were getting faster and faster, almost a blur in the end.

Seeing this!

Raynor put his thumb on his chin and couldn’t help but smile.

Now!

Sanji is at his full strength, so there shouldn’t be a problem!

Sanji’s leg skills were sharp, and for a while, Kuro couldn’t fight back.

But Kuro’s body was really tough.

Sanji kept attacking, but Kuro’s body wasn’t hurt at all.

Looking back at Sanji!

He was already panting a little.

The next second, Kuro saw an opportunity, and grabbed Sanji’s ankle.

”Hmph, you trash pirates from the East Blue are a little stronger than average, and you already think you’re great.”

”Today, I’ll send you to hell!”

As soon as he finished speaking!

Kuro lifted Sanji straight up.

Sanji frowned!

His other leg kicked Kuro like crazy.

But because the support point was too weak, he couldn’t use the power of Diable Jambe at all.

His legs kicked Kuro’s body, but it didn’t hurt at all.

Then!

Kuro suddenly threw Sanji into the sky, and two drops of water slowly fell from his hand.

Kuro punched towards the direction Sanji was falling!

A powerful wave of air shot out instantly, and there was a faint sound of explosion in the air.

If Sanji fell down and was hit!

He’d be seriously injured or dead!

Seeing this, a trace of worry flashed in Raynor’s eyes.

It seems he needs to take action this time.

But the next second!

Sanji turned around in the air!

A full 360 degrees!

He stepped directly on that super strong exploding air wave and instantly attacked towards Kuro.

He kicked Kuro away.

Blood!

Shot out of Kuro’s mouth.

Looking back at Sanji, he landed smoothly, unharmed. He lit a cigarette and elegantly blew a smoke ring.

Kuro struggled to get up from the ground and adjusted his appearance.

Then he took a serious stance.

”I admit you’re strong, but this is the end.”

As soon as he finished speaking!

Kuro suddenly opened his eyes and instantly attacked towards Sanji!

Sanji wasn’t afraid at all!

He used Diable Jambe to keep blocking, and for a while, the two were evenly matched.

...

The battles on both sides!

Have reached a feverish stage.

But Luffy and Arlong’s group hadn’t made a move yet, just looking at each other.

On Arlong’s side!

He was always wary of Raynor standing behind Luffy.

If Raynor also attacked, then he would definitely not be his opponent.

He should have made a choice sooner!

Withdraw from Cocoyasi Village!

But the tragedy of Arlong Park made the anger in his heart impossible to suppress.

As the boss!

He let his own people suffer such a disaster.

What face did he have to be the captain of the Arlong Pirates?

He had to avenge his people.

Thinking of this!

Arlong then grabbed a few drops of rainwater.

He instantly pushed forward, and the powerful thrust made these three drops of rainwater harder than steel.

In an instant!

These three drops of rainwater pierced into Luffy’s body, and several streaks of blood suddenly spurted out.

Luffy gritted his teeth in pain!

In his eyes!

A serious look appeared.

Then!

Luffy’s arm stretched back, and he instantly swung it forward. The powerful force made the air creak.

If Arlong took this punch head-on!

He’d be seriously injured or dead!

But this aggressive punch was seen through by Arlong, who was prepared.

He didn’t let Luffy succeed!

He dodged this powerful blow with a flash, and then swayed his body left and right, coming in front of Luffy.

Arlong’s fist clenched crackled!

A punch landed on Luffy’s stomach, directly sending Luffy flying dozens of meters.

Luffy spat out a mouthful of blood!

He almost rolled his eyes!

But after this blow, Arlong wasn’t relaxed either, his face was slightly red, and he was panting.

He stretched out his body, revealing the very eye-catching Sun Pirates mark on his chest.

Seeing this!

Raynor frowned slightly.

As expected of a pirate who retired from the New World, he couldn’t be so weak.

In the original story, the reason why Arlong was beaten so badly when he fought Luffy was!

Entirely because Arlong underestimated the enemy.

Now!

With him here, every cell in Arlong’s body was reminding him that he could be attacked by a strong person at any time.

So all the fighting cells in his body were activated!

His spirit was also very sensitive!

It seems that Luffy’s battle is going to be a little difficult this time.

After a short rest!

Arlong instantly flew backwards, afraid that Raynor would suddenly attack, he could never be the opponent of a Haki user. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

And Luffy, after being knocked away, lay on the ground, breathing heavily.

But!

What appeared in his eyes was an even more determined look.

Now!

Nami came over and helped Luffy up.

Seeing Luffy coughing up blood non-stop.

A look of worry appeared in her eyes, wanting to say something, but unable to say it.

After all, this was all for her.

Although Raynor and the others are very strong.

But Arlong is, after all, a great pirate who retired from the New World.

How could an ordinary pirate crew easily solve him?

This battle!

Was a bit too forced.

If this continues, not only will Luffy and his crew die!

And Arlong will definitely not let anyone go, and by then, not even the villagers of Cocoyasi will be able to escape Arlong’s clutches!
