New Age Of Summoners

1548 Fire Hagravens

”Master, we found a tribe that already has a territory close to here.”

After an hour or so, the Eagle Squad returned and brought with them some news.

”A tribe?”

Ajax was obviously surprised at the fact that there was a tribe living on the Floating Island.

Even though the metal elemental emperor mentioned there were various races and spirit beasts inside the floating, he didnʼt expect there were tribes in it.

ʼNevermind. If there is a tribe, I just have to conquer it and I can avoid building everything from scratch.ʼ

Compared to building a new tribe, conquering the existing tribe and making it his own tribe was much easier for Ajax. Therefore he thought of conquering the tribe.

ʼIf they yield to me, then I will let them alive become my subordinates; however, if they retort, then I donʼt have any choice other than killing them.ʼ

After experiencing the cruel laws of the cultivation worlds in this universe, his initial innocence had long disappeared and he wouldnʼt mind killing others if they didnʼt yield.

”Did you see which tribe is that?”

Soon, he asked about the tribe that the devour eagle kings had scouted.

”The tribe belongs to the Hagravens race; however, we donʼt know exactly which class of Hagravens they belong to.”

One of the devour eagle kings replied with a respectful look.

ʼHagravens?ʼ

Ajax raised his brows as he knew brief information about them.

Hagravens are humanoid beings that have raven feathers on their hands which gives them the ability to fly.

”They are a race that was a little high-level compared to the human race according to their battle prowess.”

Ajax thought and asked a question, ”How big is the tribe?”

”It was around 10 kilometers in radius and there were huge tower-like structures. The tribe looks grand and any bird wants to live in such a tribe.”

”What? It has a radius of 10 kilometers and you call that a tribe?”

Ajax shook his head and replied, ”It must be a city. If they were able to build such a huge city inside the floating island, they would be so powerful.”

Just a minute ago, Ajax was having the idea of either conquering the tribe; however, now, he immediately rejected the thought of conquering it.

ʼI have to find their strength before making my move.ʼ

Obviously, he didnʼt give up on conquering the Hagravenʼs city completely; instead, he was putting a hold on it for now.

”As I expected. You are the scouting team.”

Suddenly, Ajax and others heard a powerful voice coming from the sky, which shocked him as he hurriedly looked at the sky.

In the sky, there were exactly 12 humanoid beings with reddish black-coloured feathers on their hands.

They were none other than the Hagravens that followed the eagle squad to Ajaxʼs location.

ʼWhen did they arrive? I didnʼt even sense them.ʼ

Ajax was shocked at the fact that those 12 Hagravens arrived without making any noise and he or anyone around him sensed them until they spoke.

ʼAppraiseʼ

Without any hesitation, Ajax checked the strength of the Hagrvens; however, the system was unable to sense, which made him even more worried.

ʼDamn it…is my luck so bad that I encountered such powerful foes just after entering the floating island?ʼ

Since the system was unable to assess their information, it meant on;y one thing and it was that they were at least mid-level emperor realm cultivators.

ʼAjax, the leader of the group is a high-level emperor realm cultivator and the eleven Hagravens behind him have mid-level emperor realm cultivation.ʼ

As Ajax was racking his brain for an idea to either fight or escape from the group of Hagravens, he received a voice transmission from his fiancee, Siora.

ʼHuh? Eleven Mid-level Emperor realm cultivators and a High-level emperor realm cultivator?ʼ

Ajax was surprised that Siora was able to sense the cultivation of the Hagravens; however, when he thought about her unique cultivation path, he was not surprised.

ʼFrom their looks, they definitely do not look friendly.ʼ

Ajax could tell that the Hagravens were not attacking them because they wanted to know about his origins before making a move.

”I entered the floating island today and was searching for some natural treasures.”

Ajax replied calmly and he didnʼt wait for the other party to respond before he attacked them first.

ʼAttack is the best defence.ʼ

He knew that the Hagravens were known for their cruelty and they would be killing him and his army sooner or later.

Therefore, he decided to kill them before more and more Hagravens gathered in their location.

ʼTeleportʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

He started with the effect from the Lightning Cloud Steps and then activated his fourth bloodline.

ʼUndying dragon godʼs bloodline.ʼ

ʼDing,

The host has activated the Undying Dragon Godʼs Bloodline.

ʼDing,

The hostʼs cultivation would be temporarily increased to a high-level emperor realm cultivator for the next five minutes.

ʼInheritance sword.ʼ

As soon as he activated the bloodline, the system notifications rang in his head; however, Ajax didnʼt bother to look at them as he already knew about the effects of the bloodline.

While he was in the mid-air, Ajax summoned the inheritance sword and aimed it at the leader of the Hagravenʼs group.

ʼClangʼ

However, there was a metallic sound resounded in the surroundings as his inheritance sword was blocked by a black-coloured armour that the leader of the Hagravens was wearing.

ʼWhat?ʼ

The leader of the Hagravens and at the same time, Ajax were surprised.

One was surprised by the sudden increase in strength and attack from a human and the other was surprised at the fact that even with his high-level emperor realm cultivation, he could not kill his opponent.

”Interesting. Your bloodline can increase your cultivation to the high-level emperor realm. I would have killed you for spying on my Hagravenʼs city but I found another reason to kill you.”

The leader of the Hagravens extended his hand to catch Ajax.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼTeleportʼ

However, Ajax was a little faster as he hurriedly teleported away from the leader of the Hagravens.

ʼI canʼt kill him with my current strength and weapon.ʼ

Even though Ajaxʼs strength had temporarily increased to a high-level emperor realm, his weapon was still a legend-grade weapon and the leader of the Hagravens was definitely wearing a mythical grade armour.

Therefore, Ajax had concluded that it was impossible to kill the leader of the Hagravens with his current weapon because only a mythical grade weapon could pierce through the mythical grade armour.

ʼEven though I canʼt kill him, I can take care of them.ʼ

ʼTeleportʼ

Without any hesitation, he teleported and appeared behind one of the mid-level emperorʼs realm Hagraven who were eyeing Siora from the time they appeared.

”She is my woman.”

ʼPuchiʼ

His inheritance sword chopped off Hagravenʼs head as Ajax said to him.

However, too bad for Hagraven, he didnʼt have the time to fight back before falling to the ground.

ʼDing,

The host killed a mid-level emperor Fire Hagraven and received 1000 spirit points and beast points each.

ʼHuh? 1000 points each?ʼ

Ajax was surprised for a moment; however, he didnʼt have the luxury to think about it as he hurriedly targeted his next opponent.

ʼDevour eagles, devour the escaping souls of these Hagravens.ʼ

First, he gave an order to the devour eagle kings.

Since the Emperor realm cultivator would leave their bodies and escape in the soul form, Ajax didnʼt want that to happen.

The Hagravens were known for their cunningness and cruelty. He knew no matter where they escaped, they would search for them.

Therefore, he wanted to do as much damage as possible before escaping from here.

ʼPuchiʼ

ʼProphis, send everyone back into your inner world.ʼ

After killing the second Hagraven, Ajax hurriedly ordered the space elemental spirit and transmitted his voice to Siora, Snow, Raweth and Sparrow.

ʼCan you take care of the mid-level Hagravens? I will stop the high-level Hagraven.ʼ

ʼYes, master.ʼ

ʼYes.ʼ

The three re-cultivation spirit beasts have become the emperor realm spirit beasts and could fight together to even kill the mid-level emperor realm cultivators.

As for Siora, she had the cultivation of level 3 emperor realm which was considered a peak low-level emperor realm cultivation.

Since her cultivation path was special, her battle prowess would be high and she could take care of a mid-level emperor realm cultivation on her own without any help from others.

Hence, if they helped him, they would kill the remaining mid-level emperor realm Hagravens in a short time before fighting the high-level emperor realm Hagravens.

ʼMy goal is to only kill the eleven mid-level emperor realm Hagravens and escape from here as soon as possible.ʼ

Since his boosted cultivation to the high-level emperor realm could only last for five minutes, Ajax wanted to escape while his bloodline was still active.

Soon, everyone started following Ajaxʼs orders without wasting any time.

”How dare you kill my scout members? I am going to kill you.”

Obviously, the leader of the Hagravens was furious when he saw Ajax had already killed two of his men and flew at Ajax as sharp claws appeared on his hands.

”You want to kill me? Then you have to catch me.”

Ajax intentionally lured the leader of the Hagravens away from the mid-level emperor realm Hagravens.

On the other hand, Prophis hurriedly sent all the battle beasts and while flying away, Ajax sent Prophis and other elemental spirits along with the contracted spirit beasts into his inner world.

Except for those he gave tasks, the fully packed ground became empty and Ajax could focus on his battle without worrying about the Hagravens killing the weak members of his army.
