New Age Of Summoners

138 Leaving

Turning back, he saw tribe leader Qwerek who was smiling at him, which caused Ajaxʼs whole body shuddered.

”Where are you going Ajax?” Qwerek asked Ajax, staring straight into his eyes.

”I wanted to take a walk in the open Elder Qwerek,” Ajax quickly controlled his fear and replied calmly.

”Then is it ok if I join you?” the tribe leader asked Ajax with a small smile.

”Huh? Itʼs just a casual walk, there is no need to accompany me Elder Qwerek,” Ajax replied after hesitating for a while.

”Oh, if it is a casual walk, then I will accompany you,” Qwerek shamelessly said which made Ajax even more worried.

Soon, they walked away from the tribe leaderʼs house.

In the moonlight, a young man and an older man who looked very weak strolled until they reached a place devoid of any houses.

”Ajax, I know, you wanted to escape from here, right?”, Looking at the full moon which hung in the dark sky, Qwerek asked Ajax in a low tone.

Hearing Qwerekʼs words made him shocked and became alert.

Without wasting any time, he slowly took out the small feather of the Lightning Dragon Hawk Emperor which could help him escape and at the same time, it could block Qwerekʼs attack.

”No need to take out that heaven grade artifact,” even though he took that artifact slowly, his slow movement was noticed by Qwerek.

”I know you have some doubts about that older birdman whom we called ancestor, but I also have my doubts which were cleared this morning at the ancient ruins,”

Qwerek slowly explained all the past events and his understanding of the older birdman to Ajax which made him realize about his present situation.

”So, all the participants who participated in this yearʼs trial will die just like the last time,” Ajax was shocked when he heard Qwerekʼs words about the previous participantsʼ death.

”But, why is he doing this? Isnʼt he your ancestor?” Ajax raised some questions to Qwerek regarding the older birdman.

”As for your second question, he was not our ancestor, he was a prisoner of our Lightning Dragon Hawk Emperor, who forced him to guard us against the attacks of other races from other regions,”

Qwerek paused for a second before continuing, ”as for your first question, even I was unable to find it.”

His words caused another commotion in Ajaxʼs head.

”I sensed he marked Snow with his spirit imprint and when I later checked with other participants, they were similarly marked by his spirit mark and the cloth I found in the body of my tribeʼs participant belongs to that older birdman,”

”so I am guessing he will do the same to this yearʼs participants also.” Qwerek continued his explanation.

”Elder, canʼt you defeat that older birdman with the combined forces of other two tribe leaders?” Ajax asked him as he sensed that the three tribe leaders have a strength of almost King realm.

”No, he is very strong. Even if we three used Heaven grade artifacts, we will not stand a chance against him,” Qwerek sighed as he said these words.

”Here, take these and use it to block the spirit mark of that older birdman, temporarily from him sensing the Snow,” After sighing to himself, Qwerek gave Ajax some small discs which looked circular.

”What are these?” Ajax asked as he never saw those things before.

Although he can check with the system, he didnʼt want to space out in the thin air, so he asked Qwerek about the items given by him.

”They are called array discs, they can block the spirit mark of the older birdman when you place Snow in the center of those array discs,” Qwerek explained about their use and how to use those discs called array discs.

”Huh?” Ajax nodded his head as he knew that Qwerek was a rank 4 array master.

”Now, go away from here and use those array discs” Qwerek slowly said to Ajax to escape.

”But, Elder Qwerek, will he not come after you, if he finds that you allowed me to escape?” Ajax asked him without escaping.

When he heard Qwerekʼs words, Ajaxʼs heart filled with respect as he knew that the tribe leader was helping him because of Snow.

Still, he was worried about the tribe leader and asked.

”He canʼt do anything to our three tribes due to a seal placed on him by our actual Ancestor,”

Qwerek slowly continued, ”And the deaths of the participants must be related to some loophole he created over the years when they entered the Firmament Battlefield.”

”Then I will take my leave Elder Qwerek,” Saying that, he turned to leave, but Ajax suddenly remembered something and stopped.

”Elder Qwerek, take this gift and use it for the tribe, also give some to Kraiww separately, for taking care of me in your house,” Ajax took out ten litres of thunder poolʼs water in a gourd and asked him to share with the tribe, especially with Kraiww as he was the one who took care of his needs.

”Sure,” Elder Qwerek thought Ajax was giving some memento and casually extended his hand to take the gourd from Ajax.

As soon as he touched it, he froze for a moment before looking at Ajax with a shock and later that shock turned into excitement.

”Ajax, what is this water? I sense an abundant thunder elemental essence of nature from it,” Qwerek didnʼt know what the water was for, but from the abundant thunder essence, he was sure of one thing.

It was precious and not any precious, insanely precious.

”It is the water from the Thunder realm and it is called Thunder poolʼs water which contains the thunder essence,” Ajax explained it slowly.

”What? Is this water really from the thunder realm?” Qwerek exclaimed loudly with a mix of shock and excitement.

”Yes Elder Qwerek,” Ajax looked at the excited Qwerek and said, ”For the maximum efficiency of this thunder poolʼs water mix similar spirit beast essence gem in it before consuming. Now bye, Elder Qwerek,” Ajax quickly darted towards the direction his spirit beasts were cultivating.

”..” Qwerek wanted to stop Ajax, but he didnʼt know what to say to him after stopping, so he shook his head and muttered in a low voice, ”So, there is really a thunder realm”.

”With this, I can now have the chance to fight that old prisoner,” he angrily said before returning to his house.

Ajax continuously dashed to join his contracted elemental spirits who were cultivating in a three-elemental zone.

In between, he used the flight ability of the Heaven gradeʼs artifact feather to fly with double speed for five minutes.

”I hope Elder Qwerek achieves a strength to fight that older bastard form the ancient ruins.”

Ajax knew Qwerek was not selfish and cared about all the tribe members, so he didnʼt worry, Qwerek would take all the water for himself.

Even if he took, Ajax doesnʼt care about it anymore.

After running and flying for a whole night, he wanted to find a place to rest for some time, before continuing his journey.

Soon, he found a place and ready to take rest.

Suddenly, he found a familiar purple coloured bird fighting someone.

When he moved forward, he saw clearly whom it was fighting.

It was fighting her tribe members from the ice sparrow tribe.

”What a piece of trash, you canʼt even get a second position.”

”All our resources were poured into you just because you have a slightly higher bloodline in you.”

”If not for fire crow tribe participant directly placed in the third position in the previous contest, your mother would have also got the same position as you.”

”Like mother like daughter, both are a bunch of garbage.”

One after other evolved members from the ice sparrow tribe attacked the ice sparrow that participant in the three-tribe contest yesterday scolding it with their every attack.

Seeing the pitiful sight of the poor ice sparrow, Ajax felt pity for it.

Although his friends did not hurt him, he knew it was the worst thing to happen.

”If it is trash, then what are you? Worse than trash,” Ajax used his flight ability from the feather and flew in front of those evolved ice sparrow members.

”A human?”

The three evolved members from the ice sparrow tribe along with the unevolved ice sparrow behind him were shocked at the unexpected entry of a human.

Ajax was not using the lightning dragon Hawk form, so they didnʼt recognize him and puzzled at the appearance of a human.

”A human with only level 4 commander realm strength dares to say that to a level 10 commander realm cultivator, Hahahaha,” the one who acted as a leader mocked Ajax comparing the cultivation realms.

”Hahahhaha,” his two lackeys laughed loudly.

These two lackeys had the cultivation of level 8 of the commander realm, which was higher than Ajax, so they laughed loudly while sneering at him.

Although the ice sparrow has the strength of a high-level rank 3, it can not defeat an evolved ice sparrow which re-cultivated and reached level 10 of the commander realm.

Ajax already knew their strengths, and he was very confident in defeating all three of them even if they all come at him at once.

When his cultivation was only level 1 of the commander realm, he was able to fight with the peak mid-level spirit beasts and defeat them.

Now, his cultivation strength reached level 4 of the commander realm, and he had the confidence to beat level 10 commander realm cultivator easily, and those two lackeys were not a problem for him.

”Letʼs see”, As soon as he said that he took out his bloodlust spear and thrust at the boss of the three evolved birdmen.

The bloodlust spear which evolved from a low-level mortal to low-level earth grade artifact directly and turned, even more, bloodiest red after absorbing the blood of all the life it took from the assassin sect disciples to the recently killed black foxes.

But the sad thing was, no new skills came, which causing Ajax unhappy. Still, he was happy with the speed though.

Its thrusting speed increased by a factor of two.

ʼSwishʼ

”What?” although the boss managed to dodge the piercing of the bloodlust spear, he was shocked at its speed.

”An Earth grade artifact? Itʼs mine now,” As he saw the bloodlust, his eyes were filled with greed.

”If you want it, then take it,” Ajax said to the boss with a hint of mock in his voice.

The ice sparrow behind him looked at Ajax and didnʼt understand why a human, who has no relation with it, was saving it, and the ones with the relationship were trying to kill it.

While thinking about all the things that happened form yesterday, it suddenly lost its consciousness.

Just when it was about to fall on the ground, Ajax caught it and slowly placed it on the ground.

”If you leave now, I will not kill you,” after placing the unconscious ice sparrow on to the ground, he turned to the three evolved ice sparrows and warned them.

”We leave after kill you and that piece of shit,” all three of them rushed at a time without wasting any time.

As they were within a specific range, Ajax used his recently obtained skill, ʼAbsolute Darknessʼ.

The rushing evolved members of the ice sparrow fell onto the ground clutching their heads and screamed in pain.

”Whatʼs happening with my eyes, I am unable to see.”

”Boss, help me. My eyes are not working.”

”Oh, great human we will leave, we will leave, please return us our sight”, After screaming for some time, they pleaded Ajax to let them go.

See them pleading pitifully; Ajax released the ʼAbsolute Darknessʼ.

”Thanks human for your kindness, we will leave now,” the boss of the evolve three thank him.

Although they donʼt know what magic, did he pulled, they shivered at the thought of those painful nightmares in the dark.

ʼJust you wait, once I found my big brother, I will return you everything you gave me with an extraʼ, even though, he pleaded, he thought of revenge as soon as Ajax cancelled the skill ʼAbsolute Darknessʼ.

”Thank you, sir human, for showing pity on us,” the other two members sincerely thanked him, unlike the boss.

They were still in fear of that skill and didnʼt even think of revenge.

After saying their thanks, they turned to leave.
